Poking around the east and south areas of the "non floppy" room
15 Perception.
I’m not sure where that is? The first room you entered from the stairs with three doors, one shedding a cool fog (Room 1)?
The two areas marked on room 1 are doors.
The stairs climb up to a square chamber paved in the translucent black marble with the ropy, twisting tendrils of flame below the surface of the floor. Three doors framed in stone archways exit the room from each of the other three walls. The doors are wooden and bound in iron bands. The door across the room has fog rolling from the archway that cascades down to the floor and slowly moves across the room and down the stairs that you just ascended. The room is cool and the fog is cooler around your ankles.
Xymox secures the sapphire in one of his small pouches, “We leave the candy bowl—for now. After the showdown, we’ll gather what’s left and distribute it evenly. Kragen can bless it, Starker can count it, and I’ll try not to rhyme about it.”
The foggy door opens to reveal a long hallway. A large skull is carved from the stone of the mountain and fills the opposite wall up to the ceiling that is 15’ high. The honeycombed niches cover the ceiling above. The skull has deep shadow obscuring the eye sockets, nose hole and mouth. The room here is very cold. The floor is a deep blue and translucent marble with tendrils of fog threading and writhing below the surface.
“And do we think this set of rooms leads now where? Or should we investigate for secret passages first?”
”Before we leave, I would like to go into the room with the niche to investigate further?”
what are the dimensions of the niche room? I know we have dims in the niche or does the door open to a solid wall with a niche?
The door opens to a wall with the niche. No room past the door.

Thanks for that clarification. I completely missed that detail in the map and descriptions. But I zoomed a bit and the map is fine... just me.
- listening at both doors, starting with the south and then the east
Silence beyond both doors. The fog is surprisingly cool as it rolls down upon you while you listen at the middle door.
Xymox secures the sapphire in one of his small pouches, “We leave the candy bowl—for now. After the showdown, we’ll gather what’s left and distribute it evenly. Kragen can bless it, Starker can count it, and I’ll try not to rhyme about it.”
Previously, had we attempted to open these doors?
No. Only determined that they are locked and the key Chadwick has and Craddock the Strong’s keys do not open them.
Kragen turns to Xymox “Master Bard, you were successful with the other door, care to try on these?”
Xymox: "I'll give it a shot!"
Dex check: 10 total. (when that doesn't work, Xymox will offer to use KNOCK.)
You can continue to try. It isn’t like the old days where if you fail you have to gain a level. It just takes longer.
Next roll: Nat 20. Total of 27.
Which door?
The one that Trolkarl is at. Or left.

Xymox looks to the paladin. "Sir Chadwick?"
Starker:”Perhaps the gems we retrieved from the other room are earned eyes to be placed in thise sockets?
“For those who pry with eyes unearned, / From soul to shell, your fate be turned.”
Chadwick enters the room tapping the floor before him with his halberd.
OOC/ Any party member is welcome to post for Chadwick about going through/opening doors. Just assume he'll use the tapping method when he goes in.
