Starker:”While I perform these rituals, perhaps someone stronger than a weakly mage can try to turn the 4 keyed rod. Beware: it is cold.
”This will take a while perhaps now we can finally take the long rest we most sincerely deserve?”
<Starker and Cyrus go through the intellectual and physical maneuvers to detect magic and then to identify those items, if any, that are magical. Starker has Cyrus peer at the objects through various combinations of the jewel shards, rotating them to check the impact of ethereal polarizations on the efficacy and ease of the ritual.>
While Starker is identifying the flasks, Kragen will pick up the following items and place into his backpack (will attempt to load into party inventory). :)
300 gp
Several diadems, 4 gold, 2 platinum, 1 silver. All engraved with “Illiandil” in elvish.
Xymox: " I agree with the good mage. We should consider a long rest. I can provide us with a tiny hut here, or we can attempt to exit entirely. Or do we venture on in our current condition?"
Resting in the tomb seems much riskier than going out, at least for those of us not marked with greed. I trust in the party, I would be just as well with short rest but realize our resources are very depleted
Trolkarl then steps away, kneelng , unsheathes Darkbane, closes eyes and focuses in silence a few moments before returning to the group
You can perform an esoteric rite for 1 minute. At the end of it, you regain expended Pact Magic spell slots but no more than a number equal to half your maximum (round up). Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
Chadwick claims the Pouch of Wasps. It is active inside with movement of tiny forms seen through the material. He opens the pouch and releases the fey insects. They swarm about him and dazzle briefly with their multihued wings before stinging him all over. A rush of euphoria grips him and he grins in a silly manner. (( Heals 13HP )). They then return to the pouch which is now still.
Starker:”This is odd. Usually, when I have completed the Identify ritual, I know much more about the object than simply what school of magic was used in its enchantment. Let me study my notes on the Identify spell to see if I can deduce anything about this unusual instantiation.”

”Please take care of my jewel or jewels, depending on how we allocate our precious loot.”
Kragen looks oddly at Starker when he continues to mention "My" when referencing any artifacts found. Then to the others with concern.
"Rest assured Mage Starker, you shall be provided your equal share when the time comes. Until then, its best that those who have stronger constitutions carry the burden of this glorious treasure. We would not want our Mage sullied by carrying such mundane items. You have enough of a burden carrying Master Cyrus and Enfers Castration." Looks at that hideous staff in disgust, then smiles.
Then reaches into the chest and picks up the remaining 5 flasks which are radiating necromantic energy. (These will also go into Company Inventory however carried by Kragen)
Looking at Chadwick "Compatriots, i understand we are weary, do not forget about the additional healing items i had procured and given to each of you. This may be the time to use them." (Chad still has a potion of Superior Healing in his inventory?)
"Let us see if we can open the remaining chests before deciding our next move."
Kragen takes that same key and attempts to use it on Chest #3.
After Chest 3, Kragen will attempt to use the Key currently inserted in Chest 2 (four pronged) and turn it. <Currently has Resistance to Cold active>
Starker to Kragen:”Oh, I have no doubt about my receiving my *fair* share in the fullness of time.
And pardon my pedantry, but it is EmFer (for the initials MF for MindFlayer) and Chastisement, not Castration. I did not choose to perform that interesting operation. Perhaps next time we kill one I will in order to further decorate my staff to the delight of my allies and the dismay of my enemies.”
Chadwick attempts to open chest #3 with Craddock the Crulest's key. It fits into the lock, but does not unlock the chest.
Kragen opens the second chest. Inside he sees a faded blue velvet pillow. On top of the pillow is a silver rope chain and crystalline pendant. There are faintly glowing veins within the teardrop shaped stone, pulsing with a blue-white light.

Kragen opens the chest, stands up and then looks at Starker.
”Mage Starker, can you divine if any of these artifacts give off arcane aura?”
Starker:”While I perform these rituals, perhaps someone stronger than a weakly mage can try to turn the 4 keyed rod. Beware: it is cold.

All five of the flasks are enchanted. They all radiate necromancy school of magic.
Starker and Cyrus begin the wyrd choreography that allows the Identification of one of the flasks.
While Starker is identifying the flasks, Kragen will pick up the following items and place into his backpack (will attempt to load into party inventory). :)

Starker casts Identify on one of the bejeweled and engraved iron flasks. It radiates Necromancy. No other magical properties are learned.

Chadwick hands over the iron key and will take Starker up on the opportunity to use the bag o wasps.

After Chest 3, Kragen will attempt to use the Key currently inserted in Chest 2 (four pronged) and turn it. <Currently has Resistance to Cold active>
The key fits into the lock of chest #3, but does not turn. The chest remains locked.
Moving to chest #2, Kragen attempts to open the lock with the inserted key. It is cool to the touch and rotates easily, unlocking the chest.
Kragen opens Chest #2
"That was fun, much better than the time I got attacked by wasps trying to clear a nest out of the garage."
For any unopened chests Chadwick will try Craddick the twice dead's key.
