"Knowing how much we like to split The Company, having Starker in the Northeast using those trees as cover could do damage as we assault the "village building"."
Kragen dismounts his trusty stead, having secured his backpack to said stead, and secured it to a hearty tree out of LOS. pulls his holy water from his belt and begins to quietly chant a prayer to Tyr and splashes Holy Water on Gneuman, Starker and Trolkarl.
Once scouting is complete, since there are no windows, approach direction probably makes no difference unless there are people outside.
We could go in through a parapet by having Hoid jump up and toss a rope down. Silence on the parapet would make for a stealthy approach, but it wouldn’t be usable if blessing is up (which I think is premature).

Gneuman and Trolkarl will immediately move out of range if they go scouting. Are you sure?

All things being equal, approach from the southeast has the tree line closest to the lodge. From the north-northwest gives cover of outbuildings. Does one seem better than the other?

I like that approach and So long as you *conduct* yourself appropriately in your duties, I have no issue with your refusal to charge

(Going afk. Have Starker be Starker-y)
Starker applauds, delighted.
There are none. Only the front doors and larger doors to the stable.
So, Trolkarl Invisibility alone? Or, Trolkarl and Gneuman. (( Group decision as Starker is AFK for a while. ))
((Be sure to apply a Long Rest and pick your spells.))
"I feel better about having two people together for support in case they have the ability to see through invisibility.
Those of us staying behind should spread out and get in some cover."
Agree with that.

Suggestion Trolkarl & Gnueman.

Set the map how you want it.
Show the paths taken by The Invisibles.
Garrent remains mounted and takes up position next to Chadwick.
Shit, good point. Belay that post. Ty
The buildings here are living quarters for house staff and a kitchen for them. You see no one around them at this time.
There is movement on the roof as well. You don’t see many guards, but more than one.
Garrent in place with Chadwick. Starker dismounts Pommel and waits on the edge of the trees.
(( Ready to proceed when map is set and path of The Invisibles is mapped. ))
Hoid will dismount and tie his mule well back from the clearing. I am either unable, or ignorant of how, to separate Hoid from his mule.
(( Select token, click the three stacked dots, click Detach ))
Riders are attached to mounts, and, mounts are attached to riders. So you need to detach in both directions.
Kragen dismounts and ties up Donkey out of LOS.
