Hoid will attempt another climb. If successful and worthwhile, Hoid can throw down his rope to assist others to get up. If worse comes to worse, he is crushed in an avalanche.
The passage is suddenly filled with a mighty roar, as a huge surge of rushing water pours down the stream from deeper in the cave. All but Hoid and Trolkarl are caught in the rush. Everyone manages to either hold on or jump out of the way to avoid being swept away. Even Erbert the Noodle-Armed manages to find a hold successfully! The water subsides and the creek returns to normal.
All but Chadwick see movement and a goblin on the bridge ahead.
“Noodle arms, activate! Form of, fire bolt! Shape of, gnome kicking your ass!” Erbert readies a fire bolt and shoots it off at the goblin if he has time.
Fire bolt : 20 to hit, for 4 points of fire damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Oblivious to what the commotion is all about, Chadwick continues talking and playing with wolves.
"You're not a big bad wolf are you? No, your just a fluffy little puppy aren't you? Yeah, you just need some belly rubs and love. You wanna come live with me?'
Quietly to the group "That was close, nice work Trolkarl and Erbert, quick thinking!" "Should one of us go and ensure the Goblin is dispatched and scout that there are no other combants coming?" "I am concerned about Hoid, he has not returned from entering the side tunnel, we should send a party to ensure he is well." "My recommendations would be Trolkarl to see to the slain goblin and the remainder to carefully follow Hoids reconnoiter." "We would be split however Trolkarl can signal if he detects trouble." "I am also willing to see to the Goblin and remain to keep watch". "Let's quickly decide!"
Pauses for 10 seconds, while he waits for a response and or action. If no responses/action, Kragen will move to see to the dispatched goblin and stand watch.
"How about me and Trolkarl go check out the mushy goblin since we both need the light on my shield anyway. The rest of you go check on Hoid. If you get to an intersection wait for us to catch up so we don't get too separated. Plus this way both groups have some healing."
While they quietly discuss the plan Chadwick will toss a piece of jerky to each of the wolves.
Chadwick does not yet have light cast on his shield. He remains in the dark. No "quiet" discussions can be had. You need to yell to be heard over the echoing crashing of water coming from deeper in the cave. The wolves greedily gobble up the jerky.
Huddling quickly with the group, and conversing so we can hear each other, we discuss the merits of the plans. Kragen is amendable to Chadwick's recommendations and nods agreement. (this happens within 30 seconds).
Kragen casts "light" on Chadwicks shield and quickly begins his ascent of the rock tunnel to the west with Gnueman and Erbert while Chadwick and Trolkarl move to investigate the goblin.
If i am allowed to get that far, i stop short of the T intersection. I will covertly (on my belly), peer both left and right to discern what lies beyond the intersection in both ways.
You all huddle up to make plans and once again hear the rush of water heading down the cave. You all look and see another wall of water headed your way, rushing through the cave. Gneuman is able to leap upon the steps, above the water and out of reach of the wolves. The rest of you are caught up in the wave and swept down to the cave entrance in a pile, bouncing along the rocky bottom along the way. Noodle arms are not effective this time. Everyone takes some bludgeoning damage.
Kragen, mumbling to himself choice swear words and picking himself up out of the stream. Tries to put some timing between the "splash water mountain" deluge. I.e. how long was it between increase in water flow? In my experience this seems to be commensurate with mining operations, what was it, as he quickly ponders?

How high is the bridge and did Hoid make it to the top of the slope?
The bridge is 20’ above the stream. Hoid is at the top of the debris.
Ignore this post.
Does it appear that the goblin sees the party?
Yes. He is preparing to throw a javelin…
Do we have an order or is it open skate?

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Erbert’s spell strikes the goblin, injuring it. Hoid moves down the passage, getting the goblin in sight.
Trolkarl to act.
Oblivious to what the commotion is all about, Chadwick continues talking and playing with wolves.
"You're not a big bad wolf are you? No, your just a fluffy little puppy aren't you? Yeah, you just need some belly rubs and love. You wanna come live with me?'
Movement: 10' through Chadwick, 10' through Gnuman, 5' forward (or further if needed for LOS)
Action: Eldritch blast
to hit: 15+5 =20
damage= 2
Using Grasp of Hadar to move him 10' closer
Trolkarl’s spell hits the goblin, then yanks it off the bridge. It screams as it falls to the ground, landing unmoving in an awkward pile.
The wolves give Chadwick an eyeing over. Erbert is sure they are trying to figure out which part to eat first.

Thought Kragen cast it on post 835? If not Chadwick will ask him now before any further exploring is done.
