Krackle feels his stomach drop as the cultist attacks zeds. "NO!" The kobold shouts, Moving farther still away from her and ducking behind cover. He would then launch another firebolt out towards the cultist.
Frulam's first attack puts Zeds on the ground unconscious. She has advantage on the second attack but it matters not as it is a critical hit it is two Death Saving Throw fails. Zeds Death Save at the start of his turn: 9...
Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
(Does Stirling act before Zed's turn and save him? Maybe? Up to DM... I'm not emotionally attached to Zeds and going to be upset if he is dead dead. It could lead to bringing in a different character that perhaps adds more oomph to our fighting prowess or something. Or Zeds could be healed, stagger to his feet and continue the attack possibly falling next round... I'm good with whatever works best in DM's eyes...)
Groggily opening his eyes, Zeds sees Stirling above him. Zeds is unsure exactly what he is doing but he quickly realizes he is alive... albeit on the ground... And is scrambling to grab his weapons and grab his feet as he puts two and two together. Swords in hands, Zeds attacks!
Short Sword Attack: 8 to hit for 8 damage Bonus Action offhand SS Attack: 9 for 2 damage If either of those hit then an additional 10 Sneak Attack damage... (Kind of assuming both miss.)
Zeds then stumbles fifteen feet away from this woman but with swords up ready to parry any attacks. (And indeed, Fancy Footwork feature means since Zeds attacked her that she cannot take opportunity attacks against him on his turn.)
It is more of the same for Zeds, move up - stabby stab with the short swords, then move back out of range and let someone else be in danger of getting the return stabs!
Shortsword Attack: 9 to hit for 6 damage SS Bonus Action Attack: 19 to hit for 6 damage Plus 4 sneak attack if either hit...
