Sell Sword 2 attacks Sterling
Attack: 13 Damage: 6
Sell Sword 5 follows Zeds out of the gap. Zeds please roll stealth as there are bushes and trees nearby. If Zeds succeeds in hiding then Sell Sword 5 will take a shot at Krackle
Krackle would turn after seeing the sellsword fall. he could feel himself becoming numb to the killing as he turns to attack the sellsword chasing zeds.
From his hidden position Zeds quietly draws his short bow and unleashes an arrow even as he winces seeing the Sell Sword attack the little kobold, an attack he realizes probably should have been against him.
Short Bow attack vs SS5: (assuming adv due to assuming stealth worked) 21or 26(nat 20) for 9piercing damage plus 10Sneak Attack damage.
As you were fighting, Eadyan Falconmoon and the townsfolk have made their way into the secret tunnel using the key.
The Castellan's fight is over as well as he was forced to retreat to the keep though leaving many guards dead on the battlefield.
The dragon takes a renewed interest in the keep and rakes the battlement with lightning. Easily killing 7 guardsman who were trying to take on the dragon.
The party returns ot the keep via the secret tunnel and is met by the grisly sight of the wounded or dying guardsman and a Castellan drenched in blood and sweat. Morahn Goldhand offers all of his healing restoratives, but it is not enough. Governor Nighhill does his best to console the living, but its barely holding the people together.
Zeds isn't really the healing and consoling type. He's not one to soothe or inspire, usually more one to take advantage but he just can't bring himself to do that right now, all things considered. He does move about the people, civilian or guards or whoever and chats and trades gossip and jokes and just complaints about the situation. He listens attentively though, always alert to danger but also trying to pick up any gossip or thoughts about just what brought this to such a sleepy little town, by comparison to many others.
Sterling you have difficulty sharing the words of your god, but Eadyan Falconmoon steps in to help remind everyone that they are in this together.
People actually like venting their sorrow or just someone who would listen even when they are rambling. Each of them thanks Zeds and Sterling.
Governor Nighhill gestures everyone to gather within his study. The Castellan tiredly gets up as well using his battle axe as a cane of sorts.
"I truly thank each of your for saving the trapped townsfolk, but this keep will not last long under the assault of a dragon. Something must be done. Up top on the battlement there is 1 ballista I am asking you to head up to the battlement and deal with the dragon or to somehow make it leave. I thought of escaping through the secret tunnel, but the dragon would be on to us in a manner of seconds, and I doubt my people can all run like he wind. I know this is big risk, but something must be done. Please I implore each you to take on this task."
The Castellan leaning heavily on his battle-axe speaks up "I would go lads, but I am exhausted"
Krackle would stand and listen to the governor. "I... have never seen a ballista.. but I can try to help." He would offer with wide eyes looking up to him and his own companions

The sense of loss hangs heavy in the air.
Stirling will bandage his own wounds then help as many injured people as he can.
Medicine 19.
He will also try and console those looking real down. Talking about its the will of the gods.
Religion 4. (I think this is the first time Stirling has tried to console the grieving. He usually just helps with last rights)

Ironthar was bloodied and battered and just sits while everyone trying to help everybody. When the ballista is being talk about, Ironthar says to Zed.
”I see you with a bow, let me operate the machine but you take the aim, crackle can help by setting the arrow on fire.”
He look to Sterling.
”You tend to the wounded, and pray for us all.”
