Lashing tendril - Ixsas Attack: 15 Damage: 7 bludgeoning On hit 8 acid damage
The tendril slaps wetly against Ixsas's (formerly Dralmorrer's) Mithral Scale Mail but fails to find a gap in the armor. Ixsas scowls behind his headscarf and reacts by releasing his spell before saying tensely to the others: "It's here!"
Ixsas cautions Thrax, "Keep a tight hold on him," jabbing a finger toward Dralmorrer. Is this the place? Dralmorrer had said that there was a way out in the north end of the caverns. Then again, he had not warned them about the Entity in the previous chamber. If there's a secret exit here, Ixsas does not want Dralmorrer to through it and get away, especially if there's a subtle trick to opening it.
Seeing the apparently empty room ahead, Ixsas figures that they have a moment to rest in the entrance as Seraphina and Zeds catch up. He hands Thrax one of the healing potions that Zeds took from Dralmorrer's room, saying, "I cannot fully heal you today, but take this. It will heal some of the injuries from that thing in the previous chamber, which I do not recall our prisoner warning us about." He glares at Dralmorrer.
Ixsas suggests to the others, "Wait here and let me see whether there's anything hiding in this room, and then we can see whether we can loosen Dralmorrer's tongue to find out about this supposed exit." Ixsas is willing to accept help from Zeds in searching the room, but he wants Thrax to focus on preventing Dralmorrer from getting away. Until they know that there's not another Entity in this chamber, he thinks that Seraphina should wait at the entrance with Thrax. Ixsas prays for Kossuth's Guidance and then spends 1 minute walking around the room, assuming nothing else happens before then. He walks once counterclockwise around the edge of the room first, looking for any sign in the mists of another creature hidden under the low-lying fog and checking the walls for any signs of a secret door. Once he makes it most of the way around the room and back to the east tunnel, he moves west again, zig-zagging across the center of the chamber slowly, waving away the mists with his shield to try to see the floor and feeling ahead with his foot for some sort of trapdoor or grate or pit.
Ixsas feels himself flooded with divine light, guiding his search. As he walks confidently into Area 13, he says, "I do not fear: I am a Burning Brazier of Kossuth, and his Flame burns within me. In each moment, the raging Fire burns away a hundred veils! Kossuth's Light reveals all!"
Thrax takes the healing potion from Ixsas, uncorks it with a tentative sniff, and then quaffs the solution in one go.
"Here. Come here, tricky Dralmorrer." He grabs Dralmorrer by the scruff of the neck, and then stuffs him under one arm. His mood considerably brightens when he sees Thrixie rejoin him, landing on his satchel once more. The dragonborn delivers another torn strip of jerky to the wyrmling, as he watches Ixsas and Seraphina continue their investigations into the murk that obscures the floor of the cavern.

Seraphina rains moonfire upon the tendril.
Moonfire: 16 Force: 13

Zeds releases the arrow he had been holding, the glimpsed tentacle all he needs to try to attack...
Readied Shortbow Attack vs Tentacle:
19or 3 +8 for 11 to hit for 11 piercing damage plus 7 sneak attack damage if it hit...There is a sickening squelch as everyone let's loose their attacks and then silence.

waving some of the fog aside reveals something on the floor. An etched line that curve further into the fog.
Seraphina would use her divine gifts to puff away enough fog to follow the line and try to cautiously determine what it leads to.
