“Personally I think we want to grab some that’s left there,: Zeds says. “So we can try to get things like passwords or signals that prove you belong…. Then again, if they do give up such info its a gamble if it is accurate or not.”
Mmmm. That could work and if all else fails I can spread the light of Lathander in the form of a cleansing fire. I think setting a good bit of the tents on fire will distract people. Krackle could help with that too.
“I’m open for both option, we should settle this soon though. How about a vote? Who wants to infiltrate, and who wants to wait and interrogate the wolves that stray from the pack?”
"I say we try to sneak in, get close to the captured man, and then start a few fires as a distraction while we quickly free the prisoner. Maybe we could start a few fires and then free him in the chaos and then start even more on the way out?" The kobold would suggest. "I just don't think he is going to live long enough for us to try to capture someone and ask questions.."
Zeds has his reservations but if the decision is made then so be it. “Ok, sneaking in but how? Down the slope as a group? In through the front door?”
He only knows where the one prisoner is, the rest could be close or not for all he knew. No matter though, he never thought the four of them rescuing all the prisoners was a high success rate operation anyway. Snatching and fleeing with one high value subject is at least possible…
“What’s the worst that can happen? But I can only dress how I’m dressed. I haven’t exactly brought a suitcase,” Zeds points out. “Though I think two of us took armor from them so we shouldn’t be that far off…”
Zeds will try to watch down a bit longer to try to see how the kobolds seem to interact with the humans down there but otherwise is ready..,
The party with a plan circle back to the main way into the camp and walk in under the scrutiny of the watchtower. You hear a voice from high say "Which race is the worthiest of worship?"
"MMm... Uh.." Krackle would start to answer before quickly pausing.. he would hesitate for a moment... "It... it was a blue one that attacked us right... So Chromatic?" He would quickly whisper to his companions...
((Rolling history to see just how much Zegs knows about dragons? 7... So not too much.))
"Chromatic," Zeds says with feigned confidence. He was pretty sure they were generally considered the evil dragons... Though he himself thinks it is best to stay the heck away from all of them if possible. "C'mon, make way... It's been a dusty road and we're thirsty!"

You see no giant lizards. Just the guard drakes.

"I could start some fires" the kobold would say with a smile.

I agree we can't risk them killing the prisoners.
“Let’s do this then.” Ironthar wears the mask he fits right in with the cultist.

“Dress like the brigands, they wouldn’t care too much even if you aren’t sneaking.”
"yeah, we could dress like brigands"
The party can descend from the plateau using an anchor like a piton and rope.
"I think if we are going to dress like brigands, we should just walk in through the front... acting like we belong." Krackle would suggest.

The kobolds tend to stay in groups and some of the brigands shoo them away while other brings them along to some drinking.
I assume Krackle Jr. is staying behind.
The party with a plan circle back to the main way into the camp and walk in under the scrutiny of the watchtower. You hear a voice from high say "Which race is the worthiest of worship?"
"Dragons!" Krackle would excitedly exclaim without much thought..
The watcher in the watchtower then asks, "Yes now which dragons, chromatic, metallic, or gem?"
"MMm... Uh.." Krackle would start to answer before quickly pausing.. he would hesitate for a moment... "It... it was a blue one that attacked us right... So Chromatic?" He would quickly whisper to his companions...
