As they step into the building, the door's mournful squeal sends involuntary goosebumps racing across Nisha's skin. The half-elf looks around, taking in the grand hall and the big staircase in the middle. Despite the current state of it, this probably was a fancy place some time ago. She tries to discern how long it has been unused (Perception: 18), judging by what dust, cobwebs and mould she can see. Her eyes linger on the unlit braziers for a moment, before she looks up, as if to ensure there are no windows, light bulbs or torches around. "Were those used as a light source?" She wonders, but she gets distracted by Nathaniel, who has approached the first door and is motioning something at them. The half-elf reaches inside her cloak, her hand reaching for the hilt of a dagger in case someone jumps out from that room. But clearly that isn't necessary.
Nisha steps closer to the door as well, looking inside the room. "Interesting," she murmurs when she notices the blood on the carpet. "But then again, we are in an assassins guild..." she shrugs. There are braziers again, which kind of seems redundant to her in this smaller room. Couldn't these people just use torches and candles?
As she wonders, she notices Nathaniel's signal and gets closer, her eyes narrowing as she looks at the cabinet and the holes the tiefling points at. So, a trap. She glances briefly at Nathaniel, then nods, turning her attention back on the cabinet before attempting to disarm it. 25

The pale winged tiefling watches as the half-elf expertly disarms the vicious poison gas trap, then curiously looking into the cabinet, joining Nisha in trying to discern what he can about the contents of the four vials.
Laine tries to get as many details as he can as they wander through the place. He isn't surprised by the blood on the carpet per say, but tilts his head at it. They wouldn't bring a target here, not to their base. Further, an assassin knows how to cover their tracks, and this just looks sloppy.
He peers over the shoulders of the other two to peek at the vials. "You think it's poison? Since she clearly suffers from some brain fog this morning, Nisha shrugs, unsure. "Have a look for yourself" She decides to go and have a look at the braziers instead, since they seem a bit too obvious for some reason. (Investigation: 7)
With a result of 7, the dice gods are clearly not on my side tonight xD
"Alright." He moves forward, scooping up the vials to inspect them properly. Now wouldn't be the best time to do an extensive evaluation of the liquids if he is still unsure, but will when they get to somewhere more accommodating.
Nathaniel, and Nisha try to deduce what they can of the vials but the possibilities are endless unless someone wishes to test the liquids in the vials in some fashion. The same goes for the other investigations as the brain fog seems to strike them all.
Laine gets the sense that the black vial may be poison though he is not 100% sure.
Subtly rubbing her temple for a moment, Nisha decides to take a seat for a bit, hopefully that will help to regain her concentration. Perhaps it is the stale air in the building that has clouded her mind or maybe she had a bit too much wine last night. "Am I getting old and having hangovers now?" Regardless, the half-elf looks at the two couches, checking to see if they are safe and not too dirty to take a seat, but remembering the compass leather tag she found under Ebar Hall's bed, she would first peek under as well, just in case, before sitting down for a moment.

Laine hums to himself, sticking the vials in a pocket for now. He'll have to test them later. He looks over to Nisha."Don't get too comfortable, we need to stay alert."
He proceeds to poke around the room a bit, but doesnt gleam much. ____________ Investigation: 6
While looking into the braziers Nathaniel barely notices a faint sound similar to the sound a flame makes as it flickers. The braziers are also slightly warmer than you expect them to be. Though there is no fire in sight.
Even with Gavyn's font of knowledge he cannot decipher the contents of the vials. What could be contained within them are endless possibilities. Though he gets the feeling the black one may be poison though there is no way to know for sure without testing his guess somehow.
Nisha peeks beneath the couch and finds only dust and cobwebs. The couch covers feel coarser than you would expect to the touch as Nisha sits down. The couch cushions sags quite a bit as time has deflated what should be a cushy cushion.
Nisha glances up at Laine, a subtle twitch of annoyance flashing across her features. "Don't worry, Sherlock, I'll keep my wits about me," she retorts dryly. "Wouldn't want to miss any thrilling discoveries in this dusty room." With casual grace, the rogue brushes an imaginary speck of dust from her cloak, eventually rising from the less-than-comfortable couch. Her eyes linger on Laine for a long moment. "Besides, I'm quite adept at managing comfort and awareness simultaneously," she adds, her tone relaxing as she makes her way towards the door, choosing to wait outside the room for now. Five people crammed in such a small space is not working well for her manners.
