The tortle gets up to follow Nasha, not fully understanding what is happening. He places a hand on Ava's shoulder as he passes, though. "The king is going to get involved, Ava. Do you know what that means?"
Lainetakes the moment to move toward the stairs, his form shimmering as he makes his way through the crowd to that of one of the courtesans. If no one interjects, he heads up.
Nisha doesn't dare to cast another look in the songstress direction, in case the other woman sees right through the rogue's charades (Insight: 8). Instead, she starts pushing and pulling Gavyn even harder.
"Shut up, you fool, " she hisses, just as the sound of shattered glass echoes through the air behind them. If looks could kill, Gavyn would be turned in a pile of ash in an instant. All her spying and her beautiful plan gone to hell because of someone's slow wits. Ah, what a beautiful lost opportunity. "You are going to get us all killed. Move your butt. Faster!"
Gritting her teeth, Nisha heads straight for the exit, pulling her clueless companion along. She doesn't know how much the tortle has disclosed of their mission but his parting words to the songstress are enough to make Nisha believe that everything is compromised. There is no time to look for the rest of the group, instead the wisest thing in her head is to use her own distraction and get herself and Gavyn out of here. Then she will think about the best way to check on the rest of her group.
Lain heads up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The curving stairs continues onto the 3rd floor. The second floor is a hallway line by doors. 2 are marked VIP. (VIP 1 VIP 2) At the end of the hallway there are stairs leading down to a black door.
Kaelen looks in the direction that Nathaniel’s eyes are in and watches the events going on. He sighs as he finishes his drink “My friend, this does not look good. We may need a distraction.” As if by the Pelor’s blessing the glass hits the ground and he smiles “Thank you dawn father.” He says as he begins to head towards the stairs with Laine, hoping no one sees him as he does.
He breathes out, trying to focus as he eyes all of his options. He spares a glance behind him to check for his comrades. 'Just me then, should have known.'
He turns back to the doors. 'VIP is probably a good call, but I do love a black door.'
He approaches the first VIP door, and gives a swift knock.

Gavyn, searching for fresh air, finds himself just outside, still in a state of bewilderment. He replays the events in the bordello in his mind, trying to figure out what he did wrong. Frustratingly he does not see it. The piercing pain in his palms alerts him to his tightly clenched fists. His jaw is likewise clenched. It is then that he hears the commotion from inside the establishment. What has he done? He looks longingly at the road away from here but feels bound by his promise to Bram. Against all odds, he turns and goes back inside, staying close to the comfort of the wall this time, a silent wallflower.

Somewhat satisfied with hers and Gavyn's removal from the bar area, Nisha looks around, notices that the staircase seems unguarded and putting the hood back on, heads upstairs.
Noticing the half-elf successfully escorting the tortle out of the Blushing Bordello while both the purple-haired human and the massive minotaur are taking the opportunity to head upstairs during the distraction caused by the shattered glass, the pale tiefling finishes his drink and leans closer to Mariel. "Perhaps it's time to continue upstairs my dear." He whispers and takes her hand, giving the other three unappreciated courtesans at the table an excusing look, then taking the lovely Mariel over to the stairs, slowing down there to see if the half-elf would need another distraction to be able to join the others upstairs, otherwise gracefully ascending the stairs together with his alluring companion.
Upstairs Mariel lets go of Nathaniel hand "It's been a pleasure, but I am leaving. Like I said I still need this job." she waves goodbye as she heads upstairs to the 3rd floor to her room.
After knocking on the second VIP door, you hear a gruff voice yell "Shove off whoever you are. I am with someone."
"Of course my dear, I wouldn't want you to get into any trouble, just point at the right VIP door and I will visit you later and express my full gratitude."The pale tiefling says with a charming smile as Mariel is about to depart to her room.
Nisha breathes out a sigh of relief as she gets to the second floor. There she sees Kaelen and a courtesan looking for a room, which makes her raise an eyebrow. Not that anyone can see it, but still she is a bit surprised to see the hero-wannabe ready to get some alone time with a woman of ill repute. Whatever. He is not the only one to have used her distraction.
"Did you really let her go?" Nisha swirls around Nathaniel for a moment. "You realise she is just going to go get someone and we are going to be in even deeper... trouble."
"What a bunch of morons, " she rolls her eyes and she steps away, following after Kaelen and trying out the handle of VIP door 1 sneakily as well.
If it is locked, she has just the tools for that...
