"I stand corrected."The pale winged Tiefling says, making a playful bow to the Half-Elf. "Eventhough we did not meet anyone as we entered it, we did indeed find reason to believe the guild hall is still in some use, and for nefarious purposes."
"That is troubling news indeed. I have requested an audience with Judicator Augustine, but I have not received any news yet. Most likely I won't hear anything until sometime in the afternoon. If Marym Vantoss is alone than perhaps all of you can capture her so I can interrogate her for more information. The other option is to investigate the Underbelly and the Lava pits. I do not like the sound of whoever or whatever is Jaske's Master. Which line of investigation would you pursue next? Head back to the guild hall or heading to the Underbelly? You can reach the Underbelly using the lifts." says Bram as he paces back and forth in his office.
"I have eyes on the guildhall at the moment and can check in there, but due to how things played out we should consider that bridge burned for now. I think it's best that we head to the underbelly. I tried to keep tabs on Jaske but my magic was blocked once they neared the Thermal Plant. I would assume they have another base there."Laine says, then looks to Nathaniel."That sounds like a fine idea."
"Of course, you can eat lunch. The food at the Sootswallow Lodge is good on occasion." He will then escort everyone through the Constabulary building and before heading back inside he says "Remember if you need to contact me you can reach me through the sending stone"
The party arrives at the Inn and the food being served to the other patrons seems passible. Ham sandwiches and soup. There are less people in the Inn during the day as many are busy working.
The pale winged Tiefling would order the soup and ham sandwich together with a glass of red wine, leaning back in his chair to relax as he waits for what he ordered. "So, down to the Underbelly to look for the sinister skull's hidden lair near the Thermal Plant then?" He says, looking around at the others at the table for confirmation that they had agreed on what the next step of their investigation was.
Nisha goes with the rest of the group back to the inn, ordering some soup and water for herself. While they wait for the food to arrive, she responds quietly. "I don't think we have much of a choice. The guild hall is probably swarming with enemies by now." The half-elf looks around as she speaks, wary of any potential eavesdroppers.

Laine orders himself some food as well, and leans back in his chair."I could check, but that's likely. I think heading to the underbelly would be the better option at this rate."
Gavyn munches on a plate of fish. It isn't especially fresh but it fills his belly. "There's...uh... there's nothing back at the guild hall for us. Whoever, or whatever, is behind this is down," Gavyn says, with a mouthful of fish. "So, you see, that is where we...uh...need to...go, I guess."
The idea suddenly isn't a very compelling one considering that they may be walking directly into something more dangerous than they have faced yet.
"So, any preparations we need to make before heading down to the Thermal Plant?"The pale winged Tiefling asks as he finishes up his meal and his wine, he himself ready to resume the investigation.
Nisha doesn't feel the need to make any further preparations, so she just shrugs in response to the tiefling's question. She has never been in the Thermal Plant before, so it will be interesting to see what it's all about.

Laine's familiar reports that the guild is indeed swarming with well-armed forces clad in dark armor.
The party then heads for the lifts it is currently midday. You descend into a deep shaft carved into the mountain the further you head down the hotter it becomes with the occasional rush of hot air blowing from the deep. Its feels like an hour have passed before you see the glow of lava flowing below. Slowly the lift rattles to a stomp at the bottom of the shaft. Before you stand a massive stone causeway. 100ft ahead the causeway splits with a grimy metal sign lit by a red industrial light. The path to the right leads to the Broken Shard mines. The path to the left leads to the Thermal Plant.
Below the causeway there is roiling lave and it continues to flow and bubble up. Sometimes sputtering violently fling lava into the air. Next to the lifts are several warning signs.

"Well, can we think it over while having lunch?" Nathaniel asks, seeming a bit weary, looking to his team mates for their opinions.
