Nathaniel cannot figure out what he is looking at. 

"So, what do you make of this?" The pale winged Tiefling says quietly, letting the others take a look too while keeping an eye out for threats.

Kaelen just walks in and begins looking at the container and the surroundings trying to piece together what it could be.

Nisha glances at the containers along with the others. "Does this look similar to the liquid vials that the monsters we encountered yesterday had on their bodies?" she muses aloud (History: 11 + guidance 1. )

Kaelen and Laine surmise the devise seems to be an infuser of some kind as it fills a sealed glass beaker with a strange liquid. 

They are similar to a small lantern in size and yes, they perhaps can be attached to a large being. If anyone pushes deeper into the back room, they will see a creature crouched down. Listlessly swaying in silence. 

Peeking in and noticing the crouching creature, Nathaniel tries to determine what he is looking at.

Nathaniel has never seen such a creature before, and it seems to be a amalgamation of different creatures. 

Gavyn blanches in the way only a tortle can. Is he looking at experimentation of some kind?

Kaelen just looks at the creature "Do you speak common?" he asks it kneeling a few feet (15ft) away from it.

The creature lets out gurgled scream as it undulates towards Kaelen to grapple him.

Gavyn gets the impression that this was an experiment perhaps a failed one. As for impressions he is not sure of it is hostile or not. by 

Laine surmises that this was mostly done by a combination of transmutation magic and corrupted science. 

Kaelen attempts to deny the creatures grapple and pin it to the ground.

Nisha's attention is drawn to the creature and its movement towards Kaelen. While it is distracted, the rogue tries to focus on it, trying to discern two things - if it appears to be similar to the werewolf thing or the invisible man or spot any potential vulnerability. Insight: 7

Nisha may be distracted as she cannot read the creature. 

The creature firmly grapples Kaelen and begins to squeeze hard.
