Pip nods as he casts healing word on Sildar for 5 healing before pursuing the goblin to try to get close enough to throw his dagger into the goblins back but misses. “Dang it, we should retreat for now while we’re all still breathing. Git to town and come back if we have to.”
"I agree. Let's look around for Gundren and the map, and anything else that's obvious, and then get out of here before goblin reinforcements arrive. Once we're ready to go, we should quietly go out the way we came, and stay clear of those wolves."
Mayhew will run over and help Sildar up. "Are you ok, friend? Is Gundren in here, too?"
Pip tries to recover his dagger and picks up a loose scimitar from one of the dead goblins. “Who’s Gundren?? Another missing friend?” He then proceeds to castguidanceon Mayhew.
"Gundren is not here," Sildar says with a wheeze to Mayhew as he awakens from Pip's assistance. "Klarg, the bugbear in charge of these goblins, took Gundren with the map to their king at Cragmaw Castle. Some person called 'the Spider' wants him. Gundren and his brothers found the Wave Echo Cave, the lost mine of the Phandelver Pact and site of the Forge of Spells, where magic items could be crafted. We should mount a rescue attempt, but first I need to contact the wizard Iarno Albrek in Phandalin.
"Klarg also confiscated all of our weapons and supplies," he says to Templeton when he asks. "I think he stashed them in his cave.
"Unless you want to fight Klarg and the rest of the goblins here," Sildar explains, looking at Nari and the others, "I suggest we get out of here and get help from the people at Phandalin."
Pips jaw drops at the revelation. “Ah okay okay, here I thought this was a normal hostage sitch..” he turns to Nari, “you seem to be quite relaxed no? A good thing mhm.”
Templeton gathers his supplies that goblins hadn't yet raided, looking at hus broken longbow. "Well no use crying over past, one of theirs will have do." He picks up a shortbow. "Well I must put the thanks right to the lot of you, that was quite a sticky situation we had found ourselves in." Looking at the results of the slashes he took in the fight he says, "close doesn't feel the right word for our success just now. Any chance you all would be looking for another colleague? My last group didn't fair so well against them and I find myself a bit lonesome."

"Being frazzled does no one any favors,"she says simply, but relaxed, would be a good word for her demeanor currently, although some of her words have a frustrated edge to them. During the fight she was more goading in nature however.

"There is strength in numbers, I see no reason to deny you. But Mayhew is right, it's best we leave this place."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Ok," Mayhew nods, "if we're ready, let's move, quietly, out the way we came. Take special care when we get to the wolves. Sildar, you stay close to me in the middle."
Templeton eyes open slightly and he moans "I'm getting too old for this."
The goblin boss slashes at Sildar and hits him, knocking him unconscious again. It rushes over Sildar's prone form and out of the chamber.
Mayhew gasps, watching Sildar collapse again. He turns to Pip. "You have magic. Can you revive him? I'm tapped out."
Pip nods as he casts healing word on Sildar for 5 healing before pursuing the goblin to try to get close enough to throw his dagger into the goblins back but misses. “Dang it, we should retreat for now while we’re all still breathing. Git to town and come back if we have to.”

(Is Templeton's confiscated equipment available to grab? Is so he will go grab and requip himself with his bow and pack)
"If we must."
Pip tries to recover his dagger and picks up a loose scimitar from one of the dead goblins. “Who’s Gundren?? Another missing friend?” He then proceeds to cast guidance on Mayhew.
"Our employer, and associate."

She sighs. "Then it seems we make for Phandalin."

"We're happy to have you...uh, sir," Mayhew says. "Let's get out of here and then make proper introductions."

"Agreed, there is a time and place. This is neither.
I can go second, on account I don't know the way." Raising the newly acquired shortbow with an arrow knocked, Templton follows.
