Correct, Violet gave you hers, you've used one, there's one left. You have two hits until effect expires. You can coat 5 arrow per vial, it still takes an action. You'll have to wait for your turn though.
Crassus, as he noticed, has one attack left until silverwaters effect ends. You also have 1 more vial.
Pict, seeing one of the Jackalweres is breathing heavily and seemingly on its last legs, will bring around his quarterstaff, gripping it in both hands this time and attempting to finish it off.
Attack: 25 Advantage: 11
Damage: 8
Well damn! I wish I'd smacked the healthy one now haha
As the larger jackalwere falls to the ground, it packmate lets out a long loud howl. So much sorrow and grief in it, that the company realizes - there will be no room for negotiation now. It will fight to the death...
The second shapechanger shrieks as the sky-charged grasp of the sorceress and looses prescious time it needs to retaliate - Violet is already left it reach. It turns attention to Crassus and tries to bite the dragonborn.
It also exhausts the jackalwere. And on that cheerful note, everyone gets to level 3.
Looting coprses, you find 8 GPs, if split equally, everyone get's 2 GPs, if you want more, you can make Sleight of Hand check against another players Perception check. In case of success, you get additional 1 GP and the player who lost gets only 1 GP.
The battle is over. Each of company looked at each other with pleased grin. You did not necessarily enjoy killing, but a battle won is a battle won. And a difficult one at that.
Monsters lie on the ground, defeated. Then, suddenly, their bodies start to change, distort, deform. In a few more moments, two humans are in their place. Upon closer inspection, you recognize the innkeeper, Broderick, and his "clumsy" wife. That's certainly unexpected. Did he warn you not to venture in the forest alone because he knew exactly what you'll find there? Or, rather, knew that they'll find you? Or was he just hoping for a better meal? Not that this matters, anyway. Seeing as there's no necromancer among you, this is the question that will be left unanswered.
Remembering the talk with the "dryad", Violet stands back from the group a little and produces a powerful Thunderclap. The loud "boom" cuts through the silenced forest.
At first, nothing happens. The lot of you stand there in anticipation, trying to catch the slightest sound of someone approaching. One minute passes, two... Crassus sighs, disappointed, and starts cleaning his greatsword from the blood. Suddenly, the glade is filled with light - will-o'-wisp flies in, followed by a three more. There's buzzing in the tree crowns again.
And then comes she. Just like before, the "dryad" comes out of a large oak, still covered by the same illusion she wore when you first met. She is smiling.
"Ah, hello again. It's so unexpected to see someone keep their end of a bargain..." woman begins. "Do not take offense, but I almost expected you to run back to the village and never set foot in the Witchwood again. I see the shapeshifters lie dead. A pity, truly. I would have welcomed them... if only they wood listen. But that is no trouble of yours anymore. I promised you a reward and a reward you shall have."
Creature sits herself on a mighty tree branch and a swift motion.
"I admit, I am not familiar with the world of men and so I do not know what is valuable anymore. But here it is. To one of you I offer gold, pure and simple. The purse is quite heavy, I assure you. Gold never looses value completely. To another, I offer artifact of great power, one that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else. To keep a competition honest, I shall not reveal it's purpose. To the third brave adventurer, I will grant power. Not in it's raw form, naturally. I have collected the essence of it over the years and am willing to part with some in reward for your service. And finally, to the forth, I offer my knowledge. To some of you, this is the most prescious gift of all, to others - completely useless. I must warn you, however. I know not of the future or the past, your past, that is. My knowledge lies in the realm of nature and magic. Do not ask me to find your quarry or friend - I am unable to do so. And with that, I leave you to your council."
Now you must choose what kind of reward each of you wants. Discuss it and decide. If you decide to pick gold, you may try and convince the creature (Persuasion check against DC of 15 or Intimidation check against DC of 20, Deception (convince her these coins are out of use and melting them into pure gold is their only value, DC is also 20) and she might give you more, just don't make the "naked" check, roleplay it somehow.
In case of the artifact, roll a d20, DC is 5; 10; 15; 20, it will determine its rarity. No modifiers and roll using forum tool.
Other gifts require no checks.
Most importantly, I do not want to make decisions based on the order of posts, so let's see to it that all agree who gets what.
Crassus isn't super concerned about money and the dryad's knowledge would be quite useless to him.He would take the artifact or a bit of the dryad's power.

After the final Jackalwere falls, Pict looks down at the broken forms of the Innkeeper and his wife with a gloomy expression. He sighs without a word to the rest of the group, and leans on his staff while Violet summons the "dryad". As he waits, his hands grasp the small amulet around his neck, and his thumb rubs over the small piece of wood that is hung there amidst silver.
At the creature's offer, Pict feels torn. But ultimately, he decides there is no avoiding it. He doesn't know how much time he has left. He looks back to the group apologetically. "I'm sorry if ye wanted the knowledge for yerselves, but this is too important for me to let slip away."
"Aye, creature, there be knowledge that I seek. I know not if I can trust ye, but it seems I have no choice." He removes the pendant from his neck and holds it in his wrinkled hand, approaching the creature slowly, arm extended.
"I trust you'll sense what this is, and why I've brought it to ye. Now please, tell me what ye can of how it can be healed."
If knowledge is fine for Pict, I'll use the above spoiler for my action. Sorry, didn't read the post thoroughly enough when I wrote it. I'll wait for others to decide on the best rewards for everyone. I'd be fine with power or knowledge personally, but a heavy interest in knowledge.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of knowledge will Erlan request?
---
Edit: Okay, that's an unexpected turn, but, to be honest, it's part of Joinmyboneses character and backstory, so I will not object. I hope no one else minds.
We'll wait for Violet for now, because we still need to decide who gets the gold, artifact and power, even if Pict gets knowledge. If no decision could be reached, each will make a roll or two and leave it to lady luck. I will tell if and when they are necessary.
Also, I'm, frankly, surprised that no one has picked gold. I see how artifact and power are lucrative, but you guys have been robbed.
Erlans attack misses. At the last moment, the jackalwere jumps to the side. In the next moment, it tries to bury it's fangs in rangers thigh.
Seeing how you rushed past him, jackalwere1 gets attackof opportunity.
Attack roll: 6

Tries, but fails - Erlan is far too nimble.

OOC I think I had two of the liquid containers if I remember right. How would I go about coating arrows and how many arrows?

Pict approaches the beast warily, and strikes out again, bringing his quarterstaff down onto the creatures shoulders and back.
"Careful! The beast is enraged! Don't let your guards down!" He yells to the rest of the group.
