As the goblin leader ducks under Lukuth's swing, the one behind him raises its bow and takes aim at Alden, whom it can see in the daylight, framed by the cave opening.
Goblin 2: Attack: 5 Damage: 5
As it does so, the leader comes back up swinging its wickedly sharp scimitar at Lukuth's midriff.
Alden feels a now all-too-familiar impact accompanied by a sharp pain as the goblin's arrow finds its mark. He is beginning to feel like a pin cushion.
Lukuth is also dimly aware of a fiery pain in his left side as the scimitar bites into his flesh once, twice in quick succession. 5 damage due to rage.

Oblivious to the missile streaking out of the cave towards Alden, Mayres runs in. Splashing through the frigid knee-deep water while gathering the energy of his spell, he comes alongside Lukuth and releases a blistering cone of flames from his outstretched hands. The goblins look on in horror as the magical fire engulfs all three of them. They do their best to dodge out of the way to limit the damage.
All three goblins manage to make themselves small enough to limit the damage (they take 6 each).
The leader springs back, screaming at his underlings to exhort them to join the fray. They, however, look less than keen to oblige. The roasting from Mayres has left them both badly burned and somewhat shaky on their feet. It doesn't look like they have much fight left in them.
Mara tucks her staff under one arm and claps her hands excitedly at Mayres' fairly spectacular arrival on the scene.
Alden is next. Wolf 3 will continue to cower in the corner so Aeran can go straight after Alden.
A familiar pain ran through Alden and he realised that he had been hit by the projectile from inside the cave. But the adrenaline was stronger than the pain, so the ranger swallowed and ignored it for the moment.
Mayres was now blocking his view. But a few steps to the side improved his position and he could now see the goblin boss clearly between his two comrades.
Alden now stood in the river and crouched down. This gave him a more stable and safe shooting position. He drew his bow and another arrow flew towards his target into the darkness of the cave
Focussed completely on the raging barbarian and fiery wizard in front of him, the lead goblin has no idea Alden is drawing a bead on him until the arrow fizzes between his two opponents and thuds home in his sword arm. It bursts all the way through the limb and lodges there like a skewer through a piece of roasting meat. The foul beast screams in pain and rage, it's eyes alight with a frenzy that its two rather more hesitant comrades do not share. These two lesser goblins exchange a worried glance behind their leader's back.
Aeran hears the commotion at the cave's entrance, and considers his next action for a moment. While it will be beneficial to finish off the goblin the cave once and for all, his noble heart can't exactly justify killing a sleeping target, even if it is one put to sleep by a spell. But the rest of the group is outside, would it make sense to leave an enemy alive so they would be open to attack from the back? Gritting his teeth, the paladin eventually sighs heavily, making his way to the prone creature, looking down at his face, before swinging his sword to try and finish him off.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aeran's blow nearly severs the sleeping creature's head. There's no danger of it causing the party any further trouble now.
Willow comes trotting back into the cave, unseen by most. They have larger concerns than the actions of a small tabby cat. She slinks around Mara and between Lukuth and the wall, carefully avoiding getting her paws wet. Poised in the shadows by Lukuth's right leg, she waits as Mara makes her incantation and the grasping motion again. Once the spell is prepared, Willow leaps up to touch the hem of the lead goblin's mail shirt, using its metal armour to amplify the shock that Mara is hoping to deliver.
The goblin furthest back in the cave (Goblin 1), who had previously feathered Lukuth, now turned its attention to Mayres, whose fiery wrath had dealt such damage to it and its comrade. It raises its bow in shaky hands and lets fly.
Goblin 1 is is such a state of panic that it will have disadvantage on this attack: Attack: 5 Damage: 6
Another flash and crack of electrical discharge fills the cave as Willow makes contact with the lead goblin, but it is in such a frenzy that it barely flinches, coming forward again to see off the intruders. It seems unaware of its troops wavering behind it.
Despite its panic, the goblin in the branch-tunnel entrance lands a shot solidly into Mayres' leg before turning and sprinting off back the way it had come. The impact of its arrow at such a short range staggers the wizard, who nearly topples into the water but holds himself upright, albeit bleeding heavily.
Mara, her spell complete, hurriedly pulls out a healing potion and thrusts it towards Luk, urgently banging it against his arm to get his attention. Having seen him hit with the arrow and sliced badly by the lead goblin's scimitar, she feels he could probably do with it.
"He shot me," Mayres said in a somewhat bewildered tone while looking down at the arrow, "how rather rude of him." He broke the feathered-shaft, pulled it from his leg, and, using his dagger, quickly dug the arrowhead out of his flesh - which caused a fresh wave of red to spill down his limb and splatter into the ankle-deep water.
Mayres shucked off his coat and tore it into strips (he'd need it certainly, Luk and Alden probably would too) and quickly tried to to bandage his wound.
Lukuth’s swing splits the skull of the lead goblin, whose now lifeless body tumbles into the water. A stream of red joins the flow as the water rushes and tumbles towards Mayres, who is adding his own seasoning to it as well.
Seeing this, the one remaining goblin in the tunnel turns and hotfoots it after its comrade, disappearing from sight down a side tunnel.
It’s now Mayres’ action, unless the coat-tearing is your action. You are now standing and bleeding in an empty cave, save for some dead bodies and a terrified wolf that you haven’t yet noticed.

Mayres stored the cloth-strips in his satchel and began to search the area, with a mathematical precision and clarity that was punctuated by bursts of pain he had with every movement of his leg.
Mayres's search of the tunnel reveals only that it is a 20-30ft high fissure in the rock with a pretty significant stream running through it from somewhere deeper inside the hill. The water ranges from ankle deep to knee deep and is quite fast flowing. The sound of it in the enclosed space is quite loud, preventing most sound from being heard from one chamber to the next. The walls are rough rock, naturally formed, whilst the ceiling is rough and covered in stalactites. Daylight penetrates only as far as the entrance to the first chamber on the right, whose entrance is currently full of Lukuth and Mara, but the magical light emanating from the end of Lukuth's axe enables Mayres and the others without the ability to see in the dark to see beyond. The main channel slopes upward and curves to the right, whilst a branch tunnel runs off to the left, and that is where the two frazzled goblins escaped to. This branch tunnel bears signs of having been excavated by hand, or at least widened, as the marks on the surface are too regular to be natural.
A detailed search of the stream bed and the ledge of rock next to it leads Mayres to discover, if he was not already aware, that goblins are not good housekeepers. Scraps of food waste, arrows, and shards of broken earthenware are the only other detritus besides the now deceased goblin leader. This late individual is wearing a goblin-sized mail shirt and was wielding a scimitar and a round shield. Its legs are clad in rough brown woollen breeches and its feet are bare. Around its waist is a worn leather belt which holds a loop for the scimitar and a pouch. On examination of the pouch Mayres discovers 11 CP and 8 SP. This goblin was not wealthy. Or if it was, it kept its wealth elsewhere than on its person.
Alden breathed a sigh of relief at the brief moment of victory. But he knew that this was not the end He was now aware of his wound. A flesh wound with a hole in the thigh - not too critical. He was able to break off the end of the arrow and pull it through. He snorted briefly in pain and was able to bind the wound with a piece of cloth. He vigilantly joined his comrades in the cave. How are things with you? Everyone up? I've got something on me

So that's another 3 damage for Lukuth due to the rage.
Over to Lukuth for your turn.
