The sight of the huge barbarian smashing through the burning barricade, sending flaming wreckage bouncing and skittering in all directions, cows the goblins still further. They shrink back and start looking about in panic. That is when one of them spots Rel and Aeran and lets out a terrified squeal. It drops its bow and starts scrambling to draw a scimitar from its belt.
Meanwhile a bellowing Lukuth connects with the bugbear like a charging bull, landing a crushing overhand blow with his axe which forces the creature down onto one knee.
Initiative rolls for the bad guys, since I forgot previously...
The shadows in which Rel and Aeran are hiding obscure Rel's face as her grey irises fade to black to match her pupils. An deep darkness seems to emerge from her earrings and warhammer, coalescing into an ephemeral tendril, wafting forth almost invisibly across the chamber like the undulating arm of some black sea anemone. Alighting and attaching just behind the bugbear's left ear. Ever so gently. (Bonus Action: Hexblade's Curse on Bugbear).
Rel herself pokes her head into the gap to the left, between the pillar she is behind and the cavern wall, loosing a beam of dull black energy over the fire pit at the Bugbear as the dark tendril pulses hungrily and the hulking goblinoid is blasted away from her.
Action: Eldritch Blast at Bugbear at advantage due to being unseen: To hit: 25 (CRIT - since 19 on d20 is a critical hit on the target of Hexblade's Curse). Damage: 21 (force) Repelling Blast - Forced Movement: Bugbear is pushed 10' directly away from Rel (no saving throw).
(Whenever the Bugbear is reduced to 0hp, Rel regains 6hp, which she currently does not need, in the backwash of its life force being consumed).

Well, that was lucky. Aeran spends a brief moment, quickly looking around to scope the surroundings. The noise and disruption caused by the rest of the group served them well enough so he and Rel could creep in from behind. And while they have been discovered, the situation has played mostly to their advantage so far. Spotting one of the goblins nearby, the paladin grips his sword and rushes forward to attack it.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
Aeran cuts down the goblin in one stroke. The beast collapses to the floor. The other, still grasping its bloodied nose with one hand, looks around in panic for a way out. Then, realising it is surrounded and cut off from escape, drops to the floor, curls up in a ball, and covers its head with its hands. Its scimitar clatters to the ground next to it.
Mayres, back to you.
The wolf is in a frenzy and doesn't look like giving up any time soon. It is the only enemy left in the room though, less the curled-up goblin. Erk is not in the initiative order but is slipping away down the tunnel to the north west.
Staggering back from the wolf's frenzy, Mayres tripped over his own feet and fell to the ground, his thoughts on Annabel -- the white curve of her throat torn open by wolves' sharpened teeth, ribbons of red blood, glimpses of her even whiter bones -- his breathing harsh and labored, his eyes wide and tear-filled, although that could have simply been the cloying smoke.
The firebolt slams into the creatures chest. Magical fire splashes across its hide and scorches a hole right to its heart. It drops at Sildar's feet, smouldering.
The cavern suddenly falls quiet. The only sound is the whimpering of the lone goblin, curled in a ball on the ground. Looking around, you see that Erk is long gone.
Mara's face is set in a mask of grim determination etched with pain. She is almost unrecognisable as the fresh-faced, chipper young woman who entered these caves with you. The bodice of her once-blue dress is soaked in crimson, the torn hem exposes her stout boots, and her hat appears to have been left behind at some point, though none of you noticed when or where. Strands of blonde hair are plastered to her forehead with sweat.
Sildar stands panting over the body of the wolf. He turns to look at Mara, one eyebrow slightly raised.
I'll end the combat there, so you are no longer in initiative order. Carry on!
As Rel steps out into the open within the cavern, the darkness in her normally grey irises lingers as the ephemeral shadowy tendril (Hexblade's Curse) draws the departing life force from the slain bugbear, providing the dusky elf with healing that she does not need as it recedes. Her voice is flat.
"Well fought. I see no further threats here. Is this one," (she gestures to the cowering goblin), "also useful like the other, Erk, who I no longer see among us? Or if not useful, is there a reason why 'new Erk' should not be 'dead Erk'? Shall we make an end, so it too will not ambush innocents?"
She gazes around the cavern for any sign of other corpses or stolen items that the goblinoids may have collected.
Aeran sheathes back his sword, looking around to make sure there is no sign of other treat lingering in some shadowy corner of the cave. Failing to discover one with his dark vision, the high elf turns to look at the group, making sure everybody is alive and well, considering the circumstances.
"That was a mighty attack you unleashed there,"he nods to Rel with approval, recollecting the swift end of the bugbear. "I, for one, am glad to have fought on the same side as you today."
Leaving Luk and Rel to consider what to do with the remaining living goblin, the paladin checks on Mayres, Mara and Stilgar to see if anybody is in need of healing or other support. "How is everybody feeling?"

Rel looks very briefly uncertain, as if she does not fully remember what had happened with the bugbear, but she quickly recovers.
"You fight well, golden elf. I saw how easily you dispatched the goblin. I hope we have made the Surface a little safer today."
The half-drow considers Luk for a time, sensing no ill intent whatsoever in the bleeding barbarian. And yet...
"A goblin is not a pet, Luk, nor... a s-slave," Rel keeps her voice quiet, but stutters on the last word, almost choking on it. "A goblin is a murderous enemy, as my friend Roywyn and I discovered to our sorrow. We already let the last 'Erk' escape, and who knows what harm will come of that."
She looks to the others. (And around the chamber for anything she can see in terms of other humanoid remains or possessions).
Unfortunately, her dark thoughts leave her a bit distracted. Rel'sPerception: 11 (Passive 13).
What are you hitting? And what with? There’s a burning barricade between you and the bad guys.
Lol got caught up with the Nat 20. I guess he’ll just charge through the barricade then and hit the closest thing.

Bugbear: 3
Goblin 1: 18
Goblin 2: 18
Wolf17
Since you guys didn't roll for initiative, but chose an order instead, I'll slot the enemy in where it makes sense (to me). The order will be:
Luk
Rel
Aeran
Goblin 1
Mayres
Alden
Sildar
Wolf
Willow
Mara
Bugbear
Goblin 2
The situation (Erk is trying to slink away, as he seems to have been forgotten):

The bugbear, beset by fire and blade, and now this blast of dark energy, flies ragdoll-like across the cavern to lie limp on the ground. It is dead.
Aeran, your move. Two goblins and a wolf remain facing you.
Well, that was lucky. Aeran spends a brief moment, quickly looking around to scope the surroundings. Yep, that’s a fail. Do you want to describe Mayres’ reaction?
Staggering back from the wolf's frenzy, Mayres tripped over his own feet and fell to the ground, his thoughts on Annabel -- the white curve of her throat torn open by wolves' sharpened teeth, ribbons of red blood, glimpses of her even whiter bones -- his breathing harsh and labored, his eyes wide and tear-filled, although that could have simply been the cloying smoke.
Alden moves to where he can draw a bead on the wolf and looses.
Attack: 10 Damage: 11
Sildar then charges in, leaping over the terrified goblin and cuts down twice at the wolf with his scimitar:
Attack: 15 Damage: 6
Attack: 11 Damage: 4
That was Alden's second nat 1 in a row. However I'm going to disregard that roll because he is too busy re-stringing his bow to have loosed an arrow.
Sildar manages to land one of his two strikes on the writhing wolf, slashing into its thick pelt and drawing blood.
Willow returns to Mara's side as she levels her staff and tries to finish off the wolf. A bolt of fire flashes through the gloom:
Attack: 18 Damage: 1
