You see his eyes light up when you mention Bavlorna. He changes to common. "If they wish to join in, they may. Are you wanting to see Bavlorna? Only members of the Soggy Court are allowed to speak with her, but you can join my court. If you proceed further, you can reach the palace to be garbed and appointed. Yes this is what you should do"

While he is talking, one of the bullywugs hands out some wine goblets. As they pass one to Fa'ame, she feels a slip of paper hiding under the goblet, that the bullywug was quietly pressing into her hand. On it is a note in Sylvan:

Upon reading the note, Fa'ame suddenly looks up and over to Moneo.

Her eyes scan the other bullywugs to ensure she hasn't been seen and to read if anyone seems to be aware of the note she just received. She then secretly drops the paper into the wine goblet and tries to drink it down.

"We would be honored to join your court," Moneo says, pausing only slightly after noting Fa'ame try to catch his attention. "Though our alliances will always remain our own, we can always use more allies. Can you tell us more of your relations with Bavlorna? We have heard that she, or her sisters perhaps, know the location of someone important to us."

Fa'ame starts making incomprehensible (and not particularly subtle) facial signals to each of the other members of the party, trying to let them know that she has something to say in private.

"Uhhh, well maybe you coukd tell us more about this Soggy Court you mention. Like what it is? What does it do? What thise on the Court have to do? Those sorts of things so we can... decide if that's for us." Barreknar isn't sure if thise where things they talked about when he couldn't understand the conversation, but he hopes not. He still woukd like to visit the prisoner.

"There isn't much to tell. We tend to not see her as she likes to stay in her cottage. We sometimes send her gifts to keep her favour though, and try not to get on her bad side, such as allowing her prisoner to escape... The Soggy Court is my court. You would be honorary members as you are not Bullywugs and do not live here. You need to be a member of the court or have an invitation from me to enter the palace for example. You wouldn't have to do anything in particular becoming members, other than a small favour for me of taking something to Bavlorna making sure she knows that it has come from me and I am helping her."

“What item would you like us to deliver?” Moneo asks. He then adds, “Though, I must ask, what is it that you hope to achieve by gifting things to her. Is this simply for, so called, ‘protection’? We have heard other tales of things she demands since she and her sisters arrived here. Has much changed here in the Court since then? Since they arrived?”

"This book. It used to be hers and it found its way into my possession, and having determined that it is hers, I want you to return it and let her know that I kept it safe for her. A few monarchs ago angered her, and she swallowed him whole. That is what I wish to avoid. But other than the fog, I wouldn't say much has changed."

Fa'ame makes more unsubtle gestures trying to get the attention of the others.

She starts loudly clearing her throat... in part to dislodge the remnants of the paper that got stuck there... in part to get the attention of the others.

Moneo nods at Fa'ame, trying to make it clear that he knows she wants to talk, and then turns to the King to say, "Being swallowed does sound like something that should be avoided. You said we should be garbed properly to join the court and act as your mediaries? Perhaps we should adjourn and meet back here later?"

"Not back here, at the palace. Keep going onwards around the lake and you will see it. I will meet you there, I am just going to enjoy another glass of wine first. You are dismissed."

Slowly becoming accustomed to being 'royalty', Moneo is a bit offended by being dismissed, so before turning to leave he turns to one of the servants and says, "Have refreshments brought for my entourage. We will head to the palace." He then turns to the king and says, before heading out, "We will continue this at your leisure sire." 

The bullywug nods at you, and without waiting for confirmation from King Gullop, they go to start preparing refreshments.

Eliaanore perks her head up, having done nothing but bow and remain bowed this entire time. Her voice a squeak in a whisper, she perks up, eyeing Moneo: "Are we okay?"

Where are you headed? Straight to the palace now (discussing on the way), or somewhere else first?

Fa'amae is letting Moneo take the lead, eager to spill what the note says the moment we're out of earshot.

"Uh did they mention where the prisoner is?" Barreknar still wanted to see how they could help them.

You are able to find a patch quiet and empty to talk before you reach the palace, but on the right path so as far as the bullywugs know, you are going straight there.

Fa'ame quickly recounts that one of the servants slipped her a note that read.. "Find Illig, the Baron of Muckstump, at once. The revolution lives!"

"I don't know who this Baron is or what Muckstump is but I'm pretty sure I know what a revolution is... Not sure if this works to our advantage or if it means were're about to get caught in the midsts of one of their bloody coups. Either way, we should be aware and be cautious."

Moneo sighs and says, "I don't know if this king is good or not, but it seems this place has more crowns than weeks in the year. Either way, you are correct, we should be careful. Should we try to meet with this Illig? Even just meeting with revolutionaries can be seen as dangerous. And the current king at least was going to help us to get a meeting with Bavlorna... Where would we find him anyway?"
