The noble genie raises an eyebrow at the human approaching him, seeming fairly pleased with his respect and politeness. "I am Lord Amir..."The djinni delcares in proud booming voice. "...and you can show your gratitude by assisting the half-elf and her companions in their journey to meet Lord Akkron." He continues, then quickly looking around to see who is with the group now. "Now what are you doing on this desolate road in this weather?"He demands looking around at the puny figures around him. "I shall let you travel to you destination like the wind." He declares in a quite pompous way, the red-haired half-elf descending from the tree, looking embarrased and shrugging. "I mean, if we think that is a good idea?" She adds, looking around at the others.
As you are receiving thanks from Sir Charles, you hear a gentle humming coming from further down the path. It sounds like... a bar song? *Insert Wellerman music*
"Great! This is how good students behave! I told you to go away and you went away, almost without needing to insist too much. That's a good boy". Duwamilly tells, facing the spot where the monster dissolved, as she puts away her Preceptorial Wand.
The gnome cleric then wipes the cold sweat off her forehead and furtively searches for Yasmina with her eyes, telling her: "Thank you, honey".
And, unless something else happens (but what else could happen now? It's not like two dragonborn can, for example, appear out of nowhere...) the ex-Preceptor, having brought the Cultist back on board ("See? I said we would protect you!") and having recovered the torch, is ready to resume the journey!
"It... it won't be dead for long," the cultist says after she's taken a moment to let the shock wear off, her terrified gaze still fixed on the blackened spot in roughly the shape of a canine. "A few hours at most... Please... get me out of here before it can return..."
Delvindra considers the cultist for a moment, and then the charred spot where the monster was, before placing the Amulet Proof Against Detection and Location around the cultist's neck.
Yasmina's eyes briefly meets Milly's and the half-elf smiles warmly. "It wasn't with your finesse Milly, but at least he took care of that annoying dog I guess." She says with a wink.
Meanwhile Lord Amir's attention is drawn to the strange song, perhaps more threats approching through the rain. "WHO GOES THERE? SHOW YOURSELF!" The djinni lord calls out in a booming demanding voice, almost making the ground shake.
You hear the crunching of leaves, as the sound of a single pair of footsteps approaches. Confusion strikes you, as the sound of the footsteps is well within range of your sight, and yet you see nothing.
"That amulet was given to me by the High Priest of the Temple of Ilmater. As long as you wear it, that creature and the minions of your so called Exalted One shouldn't be able to find you. At least not with magic."
She looks in the Cultist's eyes as she finishes releasing her.
"Let it remind you of the rewards that await the evil. Repent. Live a long life in peace and goodness and the blessings of Ilmater."
The cultist looks at the pendant that Delvindra just placed around her neck, and after a moment she realizes what it is. She breathes a sigh of relief.
"Thank you..." she says weakly. If no one has anything else to ask her, she'll leave it at that and simply lean tiredly against the carriage waiting for whatever you decide to do next.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
You hear more footsteps. A female Dragonborn is walking towards the sound of the footsteps. “Godrick!” She yells as she struggles to catch up. Of course, you see no one that she could be yelling to.

"SHHHHHHHH!" you hear from a voice right in front of you, coming from a point that you cannot see. In a hushed tone, "They haven't seen me yet. I'm gonna do the thing. Don't move here yet, or they'll notice me... hehehe"
“GODRICK!” she yells, frustrated. “This is no time for play. You know that.”

As the female dragonborn comes within sight of the carriage, the massive djinni swoops closer, not letting any threats come close to his protegee. "WHO ARE YOU?"He says in a booming voice looking down at the female dragonborn. Meanwhile Yasmina flies after her master to smooth things over if the gold dragonborn should prove peaceful.
"Oh, COME ON! Theres no fun out here, and there's these perfectly... uuuuh what's the word?... OH! GULLIBLE people that I can mess with... pleeeeeeeeeease?"
“I don’t know if I should trust you but…” She takes a deep breath. “My name is Wyvern. I came her with my cousin, Godrick, to get help. We both have a cursed item but we can’t find anyone who can remove it.” She holds up what looks like a staff of the magi

"Stay behind me," Delvindra instructs the cultist as she settles into a relaxed fighting stance.
“GODRICK!” she yells, frustrated. “This is no time for play. You know that.”

The massive djinni glares down at the invisible one, seeming to have located him. "SHOW YOURSELF OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!"
You hear an eye roll in his voice. "Ugh, fiiiine. I'll have my fun next time."
Suddenly, another golden Dragonborn appears before you, waves at you friendly-like, and then points at a ring on his finger.
