"Does anyone have any tools so we can narrow the hallway or make some deadfalls like Duwamilly suggested? What about flasks of oil? If we spread it on the floor I have a couple of different ways to light it."
Delvindra rummages through her pack.
"I've got a couple of ropes, a pair of water skins, and a bunch of rations and torches. Would any of that be useful?"
She turns to Duwamilly. "I really like the idea of using the mummies but how do we know they won't attack us when we move them? And if they don't attack us, what makes you think they'll attack the cultists?"
"I suppose we could try to move one and see what happens. If that goes well we can at least use them to make obstacles in the hallway. The longer we can keep the cultists out there the more you and Yasmina can use your spells to weaken them before they get to Zander and Cal."
“For weakening the walls, a pickaxe would probably have been more useful…” Duwamilly sighs “But I don't have one. I can also provide rope or torches for the cause… but not much more. Who knows, though, if any of our stronger and more belligerent kids have a pickaxe or a maul? Regardless," she smiles "using flasks of oil seems like a great addition. Oil will be simple to spread... and with your powers, Delvindra, honey, simple to be set on fire!"
"Regarding the mummies, Delvindra, honey, I have no certainties..." the ex-preceptor admits "I had thought, exactly like you, of first trying to move just one and adjusting based on the result".
"The reasons why I have the hope that they may not react to us while they do to the invaders, there are two" the gnome cleric explains. "The first, is that we have the protection that Lord Akkron gave us, while the invaders will not have it. The second, is that we will try to move them with care and delicacy, since we have time, while the invaders, launched to attack, will have to hurry... they will not be able to move them carefully - if they even have the idea of trying to move them - while we attack them from distance. If you think about it, the mummies might consider the invaders hostile even just by seeing them burst into their corridor running with weapons drawn".
(Okay, so how are you guys planning to move your test subject? Just having Zander and Cal pick it up and carry it, or...? As for weakening the walls, I think Cal's rod of lordly might would be more than capable of doing whatever you need it to)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Duwamilly would advise not to touch the 'test subject' directly, but to gently move the sarcophagus in which the mummy is located - so that the movement of the mummy is indirect. If the weight of the sarcophagus does not prevent this, for greater safety we could also use ropes to tie the base of the sarcophagus and pull it from a distance, rather than moving it by hand up close.
For the rest, our ex-preceptor can't think of any other precautions... so she would suggest trying this way.
And, welll, great! If Cal uses his rod to do the weakening walls job, that's perfect, nothing against it!
Although hardly built for any sort of heavy lifting (STR 9), Delvindra will offer to help Cal move the sarcophagus from in front of the small door past the large outer door and down the hallway.
(Assuming there are no "mishaps") Delvindra begins to draw in the dust with her finger.
"What if we do something like this..."
"That way, even if climbing over the sarcophaguses... sarcophagi?..."
She glances at the Preceptor for the correct plural.
"...doesn't wake up the mummies it will still slow the cultists down and give us more time to attack them from a distance. Then, when they get into the crypt, Zander and Cal can be waiting here and here to take them on one at a time."
She glances at the smaller door.
"I suppose we should see what's back there as well."
"I'm not taking these..."The red-haired Half-Elf sounds almost annoyed as she responds. "...you should focus on the fight and not who's wearing what if we survive." She continues, grabbing the Tiefling firmly by her arms and locking eyes with her briefly. "I can carry these for you if you insist but we will talk about this later." She says after moment, letting go of the ilmateri, putting the parcel with the garments in her backpack. "And just drink that potion before the battle now, you will need as much as anyone here." She snaps, giving the Tiefling a glare. She then steps back to survey the scene but has no real contributions to make, happy if she hasn't have to handle any of the corpses. She would however send Al-Asfeh down the corrior to keep watch, ready to warn her as Firion and his minions approach.
Duwamilly nods, amused, at Delvindra's fortification project: "I like it, honey! A fortress of sarcophagi! (And anyway you were right in both cases, you can also use 'sarcophaguses' as a plural - or, if you want to sound more refined, even 'sarcophagusses')"
"Knowing what lies beyond the smaller door can be useful," the ex-preceptor concedes "in case we decide to retreat there, instead of to another Plane... But perhaps first we should prepare mummies and traps (both by weakening sections of corridor, or by sprinkling others with oil). These activities seem to be more of a priority, so perhaps we should finish them before starting others".
The first mummy barely seems to notice as it's being transported out of the chamber and into the hallway... though it does briefly give an extremely disapproving look when one of the 'movers' accidentally touches an amulet that it is wearing, before returning to its entirely inert state as soon as the 'offender' moves away from the piece of jewelry.
If you all have decided to go with Delvindra's arrangement, the mummies all behave in pretty much the same way. They show little concern as they are carried into the hallway to act as a barricade against Firion's cultists and only show any signs of 'life' if their grave goods are disturbed.
As the coffins are quite heavy, it takes a few hours to set them up to give Firion a warm welcome. You have approximately 60' more of corridor to work with after placing the coffins.
I think I'm going to ask for a Survival check from someone to build your collapsing roof traps (with advantage as this is a team effort). The result will determine the DC for any Dex saves against the trap. If you wish to hide whatever mechanisms trigger the ceilings to collapse, I'll need a Slight of Hand check (also with advantage, because teamwork).

Clearly perturbed by her interaction with Yasmina, Delvindra turns her attention to helping set up the defenses while giving the Half-Elf a wide berth.
"Does anyone have any oil," Delvindra asks, "the only thing I had was the idea."
"Here," she whispers to Duwamilly while slipping her the potion of Heroism when she thinks Yasmina isn't watching, "too much of this plan hinges on you not being dead when we're ready to leave."
“You are very dear, Delvindra, honey” Duwamilly says sweetly to the selfless tiefling. “I'll accept, because there's some truth in what you say, but do your best to stay alive too, okay? We all need you. And I'm not talking about your powers – I'm talking about you. Powers can be replaced, eventually. Not so you. You are unique, sweet kid”.

Cal will eagerly hits some walls and move some bodies. Always happy to be useful.

Cal is happy with the plan his small but mighty friend has laid out and will start to move the coffins slowly.
