(OOC: Nothing suggests that consumables cost less than other uncommon items. But... it makes sense that they would, so I'll say that consumable items cost 1/2 what non-consumable magic items cost)

Jodie thanks the party's faith in entrusting her with the ring.  "Yes, it would seem the ring that can withstand acid would have been useful if Sserah's souls can manifest again.  I do not know the final play with the Soulstone, other than a dire end...  I'm not sure what I began putting the shards within it.  We should consult Lord Akkron if it's not too late."

Jodie would be interested in acquiring a magic longbow, if there's time.  But Ruby can also enchant it again before the final battle.  Potions of resistance to cold will come in handy!

"Ol' Balbor sells many wares in his shop," the Dragonborn merchant says. "Look in the shop and see what you like..."

You can find any Common or Uncommon magic item from the Dungeon Master's Guide at Balbor's shop, sold at a reasonable price.

 Lightning resistance, as resistances don't stack I believe this doesn't do anything.

When looking at Tamphalic you see a little crack of lightning from his body as he picks the first card, but nothing seems to happen besides that. With the 2nd card you hear him mumble to himself "Yes, yes Ill ask you a question if I have one"

So... does anyone buy anything from Balbor?

Tamphalic doesn't have anything specific in mind so let's the others spend the money.

Jodie's wishlist consists of an enchanted longbow, a few potions of cold resistance, scroll of Dispel Magic and Mass Healing Word.

Ruby chimes in, "I would like a grimoire for my magical study.  Who will claim the dragon vessel held by Firion?  Is it true it can make a potion to transform into a drake?"

The merchant steps behind his counter and thumbs through a few manuscripts. After a few moments, he finds what he is looking for. After a few more minutes, he returns with one of the requested potions, a scroll of Mass Healing word, and an uncommon arcane grimoire.

"Balbor indeed has what is desired by the beautiful ladies," he says with a toothy smile. "But do the beautiful ladies have the gold for Balbor?"

Nickeline, wondering if she is among the "beautiful ladies" referenced by Balbor, pipes up that she would like to purchase a Potion of Resistance to Cold and some (50 Gp worth) of powdered silver. She does not personally have the gold to pay, instead looking at her fellow party members for whoever happens to have the bag with all the treasure at present.

Jodie offers her deck of magic cards (Card's sharp deck) to offset the trade.  

But, yes...presuming we can spend the party gold unless there's something else worth buying.
