Jodie looks about the cave, "Don't know about you guys, but this place gives me the creeps. I'd rather get back to town while we can. If Flinn needs healing, I learned how to mend wounds like healers. It'd be nice to use my magic and not just the harp. I feel like more than just the player."
"Let's let the wizard study the black Void. Be interesting to know if he knew it was there. Or at least if we're risking our necks, we can agree on the wager." Jodie winks at Tytus, "Unless someone wants to risk their skin for nothing."
"Ah you are right. One look wont hurt, and i might find something useful." Tytus was very much interested about the orb, but felt like the group would not approve of his interests so as soon as Hewelathan proposed it he immediately rushed to examine it. (Arcana check 8+3=11 /i assumed arcana - correct me if i need something else/).
Before Tytus rushes off, Hewelathan grabs him in an unyielding grip. He prays that Tytus comes to no harm and learns what that unnatural thing us.
Rhaenys, seated as she is in the rock, ponders Jodie's words. Then consider's Hewelathan's, saying that he doesn't want to rest here, either. Then sees that Tytus is super interested in the black hole. Finally, she stands up and says:
- You know what? I think I'm going to slowly, veeeery slowly, begin to get away from here. Just in case.
(OOC: She just wants to be a little aways in case something happens. Not really entering the tunnels, yet. And not casting Telekinesis, yet, as it only lasts 10 minutes. She does stay within range/view of the cylinder all the time).

After cautiously examining the void and the glowing symbols that surround it, Tytus is able to figure out that this was most likely a botched attempt to summon some Far Realm creature. It seems likely that the gibbering mouthers were all that was left of those who attempted this foolhardy experiment, transformed into these hideous monsters by the powers that they sought to exploit.

"I don't think it is for nothing. I am sure the wizard who hired us could tell us a lot more about that sphere, but be it because of his expertise or experience? I think that someone put that thing in here, probably it were those soggy bastards that now have multiple mouths and are dead. I mean it was probably them before they had multiple mouths. Anyway Someone did this and it went bad. We should be wary and not rule out the possibility that our contractor hired us to cover his mess. I would like to think it is over but with that thing there it is not. I hope that guy has an idea how to close it, I would rather go to the island of the dead than be coming back here to deal with this."
Tytus chatted away a little bit, he makes a long pause looking back at the hole and says:"Anyway, we should go!" - he says abashed from all that talking and moves forward to be the scout of the group as they head away.

“Let us hope it was not the wizard who hired us who made this, uh, mistake in the first place,” Korba says, dusting himself off and agreeing to continue on.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
As soon as Tytus is done and climbs back out of the pit, Hewelathan ties a rope around the specimen jar and carries the other end of the rope over his shoulder. That way, if Rhaenys somehow loses control of the jar with her telekinesis, Hewelathan can try to ensure that nothing else absconds with their gibbering mouther.
(Not sure what skill covers tying knots. Let's try Survival10.)
Once done with that and the group sets a marching order, Hewelathan is ready to get out of this cave.
If you want to do something besides fight them they are not aware of you just yet and will probably start their turn by shooting at the strange dancing lights unless another target makes itself known. Also... if these guys survive round 1, they are absolutely nasty. I would strongly suggest trying to wipe them out ASAP.

After collecting himself and healed and thanked all of his companions their help, Flinn seems to embark in a discussion with himself, or his sword, about how really useful act as bait is. He does it quietly, thankfully, so no big noises during their way out and he has Truthseeker alredy drawn when they find the Dolgrims.
"Maybe they let us pass now that we have defeated the abominations?" he suggests in low voice to the others.
- I tried reasoning with them on our way back here, Flinn, and it didn't work. So I wouldn't bet our money on that. - Rhaenys whispers - Damn.Ididn't want to use more of Stafford's spells today. But if it's necessary, I'll burn them to ashes.
In any case, she waits to see the effect of Jodie's light in the creature's positioning...
(OOC: That would be a level 7 Fireball, if the Dolgrim's and Tytus' positioning allow it. Too bad I'm no evocation wizard! This would set Stafford's charges in 27/50. He's gonna need vacations soon 😂)
The two Dolgrim to the left path start hissing and slashing at the strange lights, but quickly realize that they are attacking nothing (next round they'll actually go after you guys)
The other two see the group approaching and let out war cries as they charge towards you... each one gets two ranged attacks.
Dolgrim 1:
Spear - Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Hand crossbow - Attack: 18 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
The creature targets Flinn with both attacks.
Dolgrim 2:
Spear - Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Hand crossbow - Attack: 24 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
The second Dolgrim targets Korba.
The four dolgrim remain in their current position, apparently hoping to slaughter all of you at a range while you're in a bottleneck.

Seriously?
Okay... Spear damage vs. Flinn: 5
Crossbow damage vs. Flinn: 3
---
Spear vs. Korba: 3
Crossbow vs. Korba 7
Also, everyone (except Tytus) has half-cover from the attacks because of the cave walls, I'll have to check if that turns any hits into missed attacks.

Rhaenys, Hewelathan, Korba, Tytus, and Flinn are up!

(OOC: @Mister_Whisker - there's another problem. Either those two dolgrim on the right would have had to move all the way over to a spot near Tytus, or those spear attacks should have been rolled with disadvantage since they're beyond "normal" range.)

Jodie flicks her wrist and the [spell]dancing lights swirl the four lights "charge" leftmost Dolgrim, encircling them. (bonus action)
Jodie steps 5' to the right, nocks and arrow, and readies an action to fire at the back left dolgrim when another party member attacks. (Atk 7)
