She offers a somber smile as Mordred gives Osse a bow. He see's Parpol helping Bildrath pack, it seems as Bildraths nephew and maybe more importantly his muscle he does not leave his side. He looks around.. vigilant to any threat to his uncle even here in town. Catching him alone could certainly prove difficult.
Osselorn finds a comfortable moment to sheepishly return to the store and offer a meek greeting to the shopkeep. "Greetings again. So sorry to trouble you, but it seems too many hours spent in the weary wilerness have made it difficult for me to navigate a simple town such as this."
He turns to Parpol. "It seems the directions you gave me were not sufficient. Would you be kind as to walk by my side and guide me to the place of rest you suggested?" He pulls out a gold coin and holds it up. "If you could, I'd be more than happy to compensate you for the trouble."

Parpol looks up, though the coin holds little interest to his eyes he seems more eager to go on a trip.. An adventure of any kind seems to excite the young lad. Bildrath had looked over to the situation looking to the coin.
"Hmm.. I'd charge five gold for a guide as strong as Parrywhimple here but... I likes ya so 3 gold will suffice."
Osselorn cocks his eyebrow, smiles and inclines his head to the man in respect, handing over the three gold."You're a generous soul in a miserly world, Bildrath. It's my fortune to have met you. I'll have your nephew back to you in no time, I'm sure."
After heading out the door, Osselorn explains the situation to Parpol, saying,"I'm sure your uncle woudn't be overly fond of the idea of helping Mordred. So, probably best to spare him the headache of knowing about it, eh?"
Once they return to the manor, Osse will make every effort to deliver the body of the old burgomaster as quickly as possible.

Parpol had looked over to Mordred and than to Ireena.. The biggest smile on the large oafs face he had given a nod.
"Yes... don't wanna upset uncle."
"Parpol! I'm shocked Bildrath gave you up he can be so stingy!"
"I doubt it was free..."
After the situation is explained to Parpol he helps Mordred to carry the coffin though it's clear.. Parpol could carry it by himself if he needed too he was quite the brute. Heading through the village and the many houses around they head toward their destination.
Atop a slight rise, against the roots of the pillar stone that supports Castle Ravenloft, stands a gray, sagging edifice of stone and wood. This church has obviously weathered the assaults of evil for centuries on end and is worn and weary. A bell tower rises toward the back, and flickering light shines through holes in the shingled roof. The rafters strain feebly against their load. However... on the church are many marks that appear fresh in comparison to the rest.
Mordred takes a deep breath before entering the church. Parpol however... gives the church an odd knowing look with a frown.
The doors open to reveal a ten-foot-wide, twenty-foot-long hall leading to a brightly lit chapel. The hall is unlit and reeks of mildew. Four doors, two on each side of the hall, lead to adjacent chambers.
Osse can see that the chapel is strewn with debris, and he hears a soft voice from within reciting a prayer.
A large portly man can be seen reciting prayer behind the pedestal and a massive church bell overhead as the rope dangles down below. Mordred and the others head down the hallway as the press the coffin down on the floor gently. The priest turns around, his face pale as he looks to the coffin with a knowing look. He however seems to be missing his holy symbol, he does quickly take note of Osse.
"Ahh.. is this... Kolyana? My old friend... First my son and now you... I mean not to be rude but whom is this outsider? His ears are like that of the dusk elves and yet.. Different? I've never seen anyone quite like him to be honest."
Parpol grins and puts an arm around Osse.
"He's the music man who gives the money and the fancy words he is very nice and helps Mordred! Listens to Parrywhimple and makes Ireena smile I like him!"
OOC I changed the Owlbear map for the church if you need the link again let me know ^^
Osselorn smiles at Parpol, steps forward and bows. "I could not hope for a better introduction. I am Osselorn Fenmore, wandering entertainer and adventurer from a distant land. I've come to your fair town quite by accident. Nonetheless, these dear folks have greeted me with warmth and hospitality. The least I could do in repayment is assist them with the internment of their dear, departed father. I am at your service."
As he speaks, Osselorn looks the priest over, trying to see if he seems "off" enough to be considered a threat.

As he peers to the priest he does seem a bit off... Mad.. From grief and sorrow and distraught he looks broken up inside and defeated. Mordred and Ireena step forward as the blonde man plea's. The priest gives Osse a wave before addressing Mordred.
"Welcome to this land.. Except.. Now you're trapped here.. In despair...
"Our father.. Can you send him off?"
"It doesn't have to be despair.. We can defeat the vampire! Stop this!!"
"It's that thinking that got Doru... Ah.. As for a send off.. I cannot. My holy symbol as you can see.. Is gone. After Mordred and Doru's assault at the castle.. Doru returned.. Except it was a monster wearing his skin. He was blood thirsty! He screamed and screamed!! I tricked him into the basement by using myself as bait... He stole my symbol in the bout screaming about.. Something. He's.. Lost.. That thing isn't my son anymore... If you can go down below. End his suffering and retrieve my symbol I can send off Lord Kolyana properly but I warn you it's dangerous and you may be best to forget this all."
"No! Doru's suffering! He could be alive... He could be struggling.. And we can't let fathers soul go without rest. I know Mordred you'll say it's a risk we shouldn't take.
"...No Doru was my friend, it is a risk you all shouldn't take. Parpol is merely a guide, Osse is a newcomer and you're my dearest sister. I will go down and free Doru and if I don't return.. Take Ireena to Vallaki."
"You idiot if you go down below by yourself.. You'll die! You're really strong but.. If he's bloodthirsty he could be.. A spawn and you can't take that alone!"
As the others argue, Osselorn can't help but feel himself pushing back a gleeful smirk. His common sense and survival instinct strain to suppress his thirst for adventure, but it's not much use. He clears his throat and speaks.
"The lady is right, Mordred. You serve no one by going in and risking your life alone against an unknown adversary. Allow me to come with you and stand by your side. It would be an honor... and such a tale to tell once the task is complete and we're on the road to Vallaki. He offers Mordred his best deflecting smile, then turns to the priest
"Help us deal with this manner properly." He asks the priest."What sort of... Thing... has your son become?"

Mordred had looked to Osse, a bit of surprise on his face but a wide smirk on the swordsman's face.
"An honor? Heh, those are my words sir Osse.. While we may fight.. I don't wish to slay Doru."
"We.. We have to save him. Thank you Osse.. so much."
The priest Donavich had cleared his throat looking to Osse.
"Fangs.. A want for blood lust... He is not too dissimilar from the lords wives... A spawn.. A vampire's spawn with inhuman strength and speed.. A monster."
Osselorn racks his brain for any information he might have heard about vampires or vampire spawn to see if he knows how possible it would be to "save" Doru without slaying him...

Osselorn looks to the priest. "With careful maneuvering, we should be able to retrieve the holy symbol, if that is our ultimate goal.... Osse isn't sure of anything beyond a "wish" spell. One theory is slaying them and having a powerful caster revive them can restore their humanity but it's hard to say. Slaying a spawn's master gives them free will back but they still remain a vampire Spawn.
It's clear that Mordred and Ireena want to restraint Doru but Donavich the priest.. The boys father says.
"There is nothing left of my Doru... He's a monster now. Please release his physical form from the monsters claws."
Osselorn sees the grief in the father's eyes, remembering his own imprisonment in the feywild and how often he considered death as the only true release. He nods meaningfully to Donavich, directing his message to him rather than the others. "We will do what we can for him..."
As Osse readies himself to face the transformed Doru, he delivers Bardic Inspirationto whoever's joining him. He sings a heartening song of hope and faithfulness about a lighthouse keeper ever vigilantly keeping watch for a lost sailor.
