After looking at the dust on the throne, Hana moves to the other room with the rest of the gang.
"Guys, I checked the throne's dust and it doesnt seem there was anything recently, but the dust layer is thinner than the room's. I think something was there, their majesty, but was moved some time ago." After that she takes a look at the new room. "Oh, alchemy. Not the kind of thing I would like to encounter here. Did you guys find anything?"
She gets on track with Token and Evara conversation and points at herself. "I am not stealthy neither."
Normally, Token would be pretty sneaky from his years of hunting in the forest. However, he was currently wearing his mentor's old war gear and due to its size and material, made it difficult to sneak effectively.
Token lightly tugged on his collar, which jingled. "I could take off my armor t' scout ahead, though it'll take me some time." Token says.
"If only we had someone who was dressed for the occ-" Before Mavis could finish her sentence, Robin chimes in telling Token to keep his armor on and springs into action. Mavis gives a cheeky smile to Robin. She was wondering when the dashing rogue was finally going to strut his stuff. "We'll be right behind you, Robin" Mavis says confidently, with one hand on the hilt of her sword.
Robin, you can add a d4 to any one ability check for the next minute. You can choose to do it after rolling the check, e.g. you can make a Stealth check first, if you roll a nat 20 you’d probably choose not to use the d4 and save it in case another check comes up in the next minute.
Robin’s eyes take a few seconds to adjust as he leaves the ring of bright torchlight around Mavis and moves down the next hallway.
The faint purple glow gradually becomes more noticeable, and in about 40 feet he comes to a corner where the tunnel opens into a larger room than the previous ones.
The only illumination ahead is coming from four large glyphs set into stone, the closest about 20 feet ahead and to Robin’s right, on the eastern wall. They dimly light only a few feet of the area around each of them, leaving the majority of the room in darkness.
At the far end of the room to the west and to the north, the two glyphs appear to be set into stone pillars supporting the ceiling, their violet light faintly illuminating what appears to be a larger space behind the pillars. It is also being reflected off of something circular and metallic that appears to be lying on the floor between the two glyphs..
The light on the southern end of the room is hidden from view unless Robin moves further in. There may be an interior wall in the room blocking off the section with this glyph.
Without getting closer, Robin can’t make out any additional details due to the lack of light. If he moves closer to one of the glowing glyphs he can make a Perception check at disadvantage since it’s only dim light.
As Robin gets closer to the glyph to the north, he begins to make out details of the room behind it.
The glyph is set into a stone pillar supporting the ceiling, and past the pillar Robin can faintly make out what appears to be a large, royally appointed hall with banners hanging from the ceiling, silhouettes of people standing in the far darkness, and mounds two or three feet high that faintly glitter in the purple light, containing what appears to be thousands of small reflective pieces. There is no sign of movement.
As he gets closer, he also sees a shape on the floor just to one side of the pillar. Robin’s first guess, based on the size and shape, would be a human-sized body.
A quick look to the left and he can make out that the metallic circular shape between the north and west pillars is a large metal ring, about ten feet in diameter, set directly into the stone floor and flush with the surface. No other details are noticeable at this distance in this light.
Glancing over his shoulder toward the south, he sees that there is a fourth glyph set into the wall of a recessed alcove, about ten feet deep and fifteen across. The entire floor of the alcove appears to be covered by a four-foot tall pile that faintly reflects the pale purple light from thousands of tiny metallic surfaces.
Evara hears Robins recount of what he saw and gets excited. The idea of sparkly reflection in purple light has her excited to explore more. While Robin is speaking, Evara is trying to stay quiet and reign in her excitement so she is quietly and slowly moving her feet as if trying to tip-toe quickly in snow with her hands cupped tightly over her mouth. Underneath her cupped hand there is a quiet and excited “oooohhhhhhh” being sqealed.
Evara then asks Robin “Do you think we could all go over to investigate more?”
Updated map, based on what Robin was able to see with a very, very bad perception roll. The glowing glyphs are in purple, the metallic ring set in the floor is in the upper-left corner.
Hana hums as she thinks about what Robin told them. "If there is any creature in there and we move together, they will definitely notice us. So, be ready for a fight. Or maybe we can talk it through, but at this place, seems like a long shot." She warns, still thinking about the diplomatic way.
“Considerin’ how much we’ve seen in these catacombs, I’m not sure if they’ll be on negotiatin’ terms. And I don’t s’pose they’d be willin’ t’ leave this place fer good considerin’ how much time n’ effort they’ve put into this place.” Token sighs.
Token then pulls out his longbow. “Any one of ‘em could be comin’ back t’ this room. Best be ready if they try t’ jump us at th’ corner.” He says, trying to mentally prepare himself.
Mavis drops the torch on the ground and steps on it with her heavy chain-mail boots, squelching the flame. "Alright, here's the deal" She exclaims, as she draws her sword. "We can't wait for them to come back to this room, there might be an exit on the other side, and I'm not letting them get away. We're going to sneak into the next room to gather as much information as we can about the figures that Robin spotted, see what their motives are, what they're doing, what they're planning, the whole nine yards. I am an officer of the law, and I'm either taking them into custody or to the grave. I've seen enough illegal shit here that I'm not letting them get away without at least a thorough explanation at minimum." Mavis' aura is exuding determination. "Those of you who can see in the dark, take point. I want to know exactly what's going on in the room those figures are inhabiting, and if all goes wrong, prepare for a fight." She says, as she points her sword in the general direction of the next room.

"Wait a second, Robin." Hana says as she gets close to Robin and does a little prayer before touching him. "There you go, with Sune's blessing"
Hana smiles at him and takes a step back, letting him depart to his adventurous journey.

Which direction are you going? Toward which glyph?
