Erix lets the others do the talking, as most of the times, but has a slightly raised eyebrow when Vilroy says that Brittle shouldn't be here for this one.

Mark will respond, "We have been enjoying the sites and taken in the city. How about yourself, what has our fearless contact in the watch been up to lately? Also, can you remind me again why the Captian is not here, he seemed very interested in this mission being followed through so it surprises me that he is not here to kick it off."
Mark then takes a sip from his cup, looking Vilroy in the eye.
Vilroy smiles, "You're right to be inquisitive, it's that kind of questioning and suspicion that makes you perfect for this job. There's no need to be too concerned though. As we explained last time, Brittle needs to have a level of distance from this job due to the delicate and somewhat illegal nature of it." Someone can absolutely roll an Insight check if they wish to get a read on Vilroy.
Vilroy goes on, "So i'm sure you've already heard about it, but just in case you haven't, there's a party at the Orien estate happening tomorrow evening. I think this will be the best time to pull off the heist. I've gathered all the information I think you'll need to pull off the job, and i've also got a little of the money here as an advance so you can buy equipment and such. The only thing i really need to know from you all is: Are you still willing to go through with stealing from a Dragonmarked house?"
Erix doesn't think lightly on stealing from another Dragonmarked house.
((What was it we were suppossed to steal, again?^^))

Vilroy's excuse about Brittle seems legitimate to you.
Vilroy isn't going to force you to do this job, she understands that it may be dangerous, "Although, you need to understand that the reason we're asking you to do this is because you aren't officially part of the Watch. If you can't do a job like this it's unlikely we'll have much work for you in the future."
Kit wanders around outside watching the games and coincidently is thinking about that party Vilroy mentioned a while back. Wanted to get to some magical thingy-ma-Bob before the Dassk steak it. Get it first. Oh how kit loves a chase. He smiles dreamily. He wonders if should try to sweet talk the folks at the anvil to let him in on their heist crew. Mislead or double cross them. …
[kit has already mentioned to the team [The Rouge was it? I like it] he had met Garra’s replacements at a tavern and thought it one possible avenue of subterfuge.
Vilroy will tell you the item the Orien's have is one that can decipher ancient magical secrets. The Watch wants it mainly because they know Daask wants it. Although at the same time, I believe you have the magical runes that Daask wanted to read: the runes Garra had on her when she was fleeing Sharn on the lightning rail. I don't actually remember what you did with them, but i remember you successfully hid them from the Watch.
((Let's assume we keep them save at Mark's place?))

I remember those. Mark's place has been our home base so far, so that's probably where we'd have put them, if nobody's carrying them.
"If it's something that powerful, then perhaps the forces of law and order should be in charge of it," Elero offers, "and maybe we could get if for them."
Mark looks around to his group, then says, "The Rouge is in, give us the gold and let us know where you want to us to drop off the goods when we get the item?"
Vilroy smiles, "The Rouge, I like that." She then puts 1000gp on the table. "Ok so here's everything we know. The Oriens have a closely guarded magic item called the Helm of Comprehension somewhere in their manor. We know that Daask planned to steal the Helm once they had the magical texts they wanted, and the Watch is going to snatch it before they can get it. Alden d'Orien is hosting a get together for all the Dragonmarked houses and a few other notables tomorrow night, to celebrate the visit of a Dragonmarked leader from House Vadalis. I believe you should have no problem getting in." She looks meaningfully at Erix. She then goes on, "In order to get the Helm you're going to need to do some recognisance and subterfuge at the ball. First you need to figure out where the secret room is. Second, it is tradition among the Dragonmarked houses to gift the key to their vault to another Dragonmarked member at a secret ritual before any party, so you'll need to figure out which Dragonmarked person at the ball has the key, and get it from them. Thirdly, we know that Alden d'Orien has password access to the vault in case of emergencies, if you can work out that password you won't need the key." She takes a breath.
"So in short.
1. Go to the ball at the Orien estate tomorrow night.
2. Find out where the secret treasure vault is.
3. Either get the key on off one of the Dragonmarked family members OR find out Alden d'Orien's secret password.
4. Go into the vault and get the Helm of Comprehension.
Are there any questions?"

[sorry for delays]
kit doesn’t go in to see Vilroy but lingers outside and watches the glitz.
kit doesn’t want to be seen going in to meet the watch.
Mark will respond, "We have been enjoying the sites and taken in the city. How about yourself, what has our fearless contact in the watch been up to lately? Elero will sit quietly, waiting for Vilroy's answer to Mark's question.

Mark is not good at that.

Elero is good at that, so if it's not too late, Insight check: 15
As for the heist, he's up for the technical challenge of it, and finding himself less concerned about its legality. It's for the Watch, after all.
Mark is reluctant to steal from the Orion’s.
Erix doesn't think lightly on stealing from another Dragonmarked house.
