Elero raises his hand. "My guess is we're all wildly underdressed for a party like this.  Where would be a good place to get the appropriate outfits for a ball?"

"I can tell you were to go for clothes," Mark will then look at Vilroy, "This will not be easy, do you have invites for us?" 

Vilroy will suggest you go to the Silvergate shopping district in Upper Tavick's Landing for fancy clothing. As for invites to the party she suspects that Erix may already have been invited to the ball as House Vadalis is the Dragonmarked house he is from.

Same ball. It's a House Vadalis event hosted at the House Orien estate. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

"Yeah I got the invites already, remember"

[i thought it was strange there were two big parties coming up. I missed that. I thinks it’s because the invite came from Erix parents and thus thought they had organised their own party?] 

anyway kit’s got itchy fingers and slithers between an excited and distracted crowd of punters to do some common pickpocketing,

A dwarf catches Kit's hand as it slides into his pocket, "And what in Onatar do we have here!?" He looks at you with fury on his face, and the other dwarves at his table turn around to look at you.

Mark will say, "Vilory, we need to go thank you for trusting this impossible mission with The Rouge, we will be in contact when the job is done." He will grab the gold and pocket it, then he will nod at Kit as he leaves.

'Whoa, whoa, Onatar you say! Had I know you revered such a reputable deity I would have sought my bread elsewhere."

Kit tried to recall if he knows anything about Onatar. Religion: 18 (ah yes kit remembere he once had drinking match with a dwarve that regaled him of stories of the dwarven gods, kit is surprised he remembered ) [I'm gonna take a punt a say I can swipe a bit of info from https://eberron.fandom.com/wiki/Onatar]

"Yes, yes, Onatar, Sovereign of Fire and Forge, he who introduced tools and weapons to the mortal races and continues to encourage people to improve upon them. Bringer of fire. I'll leave you great craftsman be. He's a good one. I'll be off then. May your forge run hot. Tah Tah. "

Kit tries to loosen the grip with a casual smile.

The dwarf's grip loosens slightly, you'd need to roll an Acrobatics check to get out of it, but the DC is now lower. The dwarf looks at you slightly confused, "Are you a follower of Onatar shifter?" 

Erix follows Mark out and eyes Kit, but decides he should be able to get out, of whatever he got himself into now, himself; for now at least.

“Not a follower, but I’m a sea-faring fella, and on the water some crew will sling a prayer or two Onatar’s way when we have to somehow improvise a thingymabob, some kind of tool to fix some crack or wonky sail. The gift of invention, we should all be worshipping them, if you ask me. But other gods pulls my strings.”

kits sees the others begin the exit. He shoots them a death stare as if to express how utterly betrayed he felt. And turnd back to the dwarves with a warmest of smiles. 

“As I said, I must be off.”

Mark will look at the situation to make sure it does not escalate. 

Elero will watch to see if anything bad happens and he needs to intervene.

As Kit constantly talks these dwarves into a state of confusion, he's nimbly able to slip out of their clutches and hightail it out of The King of Fire.
