(if you are attempting to get within 30 feet to cast minor illusion, I'll need to know where you're heading. You can use the hyena cages as cover, as hyenas don't have darkvision, but if you make too much noise you may rouse them. There is not a ton of great cover from the actual entrance, except for from below, but that's within the hyena-handler's vision.)

The cages seem like a good bet. So, it seems this is the division of the party:
Olan and Veldruk are going sneak around
Threla and Nodjeim while hid behind the cages and cause a distraction
Evelyn and Druid guy provide support.
Motioning to Nodjeim, Threla starts sneaking towards the cages, coming around the bottom so as not to be seen. With her 120ft darkvision, she watches the gnolls

Sneaking around the cages, Threla notices that one cage does not contain ordinary hyenas. Two are much larger than the others, almost the size of the ogre you saw earlier. Other than that, there are around twenty-five to thirty hyenas sleeping in the cages among humanoid bones. A few seem a lot larger and more bloated than the others, evidently eating far more than they get about and exercise.
The handler wanders among the cages, moving bodies and preparing them for breakfast, but Threla manages to avoid their gaze as she approaches.

(Anyone else who wishes to approach stealthily may roll stealth. If you're staying farther than 60 feet away, you don't need to, but of course most of you will be unable to see beyond that distance.)

Nodjeim steps lightly and sticks to shadows to move into position for optimal torch/oil throwing. He figured the best distraction is more than just a splash of fire, but it's a splash of fire that lights a loud and complaining opponent aflame! That in mind he is trying to get into a position where he could hopefully hit one (or more) Gnolls (or whatever) with the improvise fire-splash, probably hopefully near the cave mouth? He's definitely not looking to target caged animals because... Cruel.
You all manage to beat their passive perceptions, as the only one who would have been seen by the hunters, Evelyn, can use cover from them the entire time and thus is effectively invisible in relation to them.
Everyone manages to get in range, and may take whatever actions they like. Nodjeim is unable to get anywhere that would allow him to hit more than one gnoll, though he could certainly wait until two of the undead were close enough together to hit both. For Evelyn and the druid, Chakka notices that they cannot see in the dark, and sticks by them, giving pointers for everyone's position (you may target foes with AOEs, but attack rolls will have disadvantage as per the blinded condition, though technically that would cancel out for the first attack since you're attacking from hiding).
Additionally, before creeping in, the Druid touches Nodjeim and Veldruk, and they feel that for every step they take, they cross a little more distance than they ought to, as if the ground itself is shoving them along. (He casts moving walkway longstrider on the two of you.) Finally, he makes a few signs and mutters some words, and you see that his weathered skin becomes knotted and barklike in appearance. (Casting barkskin on himself.)
Everyone, do your thing!

This is generally everyone's position, but you rolled high enough for stealth so that you can reposition basically anywhere as long as it's not right up in an enemy's face. Except for Evelyn, she's got to stay in cover from everyone but the undead, who are dumb as hell.

Olan turns to Veldruk and says quietly "We need to move a little further down, so we can get a better shot at the two by the entrance." The two of them move quietly into position where they can see both entrance guards.
"Once the others start the distraction, I'll take the one on the far side with a barbed arrow to slow him down, you take the other. Ready? "
Threla waves her hands and as quietly as she can, casts minor illusion and summons a small chicken, and sends the little thing out into the middle of the gnoll camp. It can't make sound, but it hops and runs around, looking delicious.

Evelyn hides behind one of the cages with the druid. She waits nervously for the attack to begin. She watches Threla summon an illusionary chicken, and she bites at a fingernail. Occasionally, she feels the horrible urge to laugh for no reason. At least she isn't sprouting hairs on her face quite yet. That would be so awful. She isn't sure she could bear to show her face to anyone if that were to happen. Not that she is particularly vain, but she does take pride in her appearance, as much as she can anyway while on the road and exploring, covered in dust and grime.

He didn’t think the party had other way to distract the enemies outside of illusions and definitely didn’t expect Nodjeim to create a concoction capable to easily start a fire. That was likely to deal with hyenas and sure to get the gnolls’ attention. Mayne enough that no more than one or two guards would remain by the cave’s entrance.
“Maybe I should suggest arson more times?” The warlock just before the druid touched his shoulder. Energy ran through his veins and his legs felt lighter. A spell, he understood leaving with Olan. When the rogue spoke Veldruk nodded in agreement.
Standing beyond the common range of night vision he waited for the arrow to fly. As it did, the hexblade raised his sword arm and whispered arcane words. The Weave bended to his will, becoming pure force. Fast and silent he made the blade fall, a horizontal cut through the air that release beam of crackling energy. It trailed through the air, seeking the closest enemy.
Veldruk was sure his Eldritch Blast would not kill the enemy, but still had hope it would hurt it enough that its defeat would take but one or two more attacks. Even if at close range.
Notes: Veldruk casts Eldritch Blast (17 to hit, 5 force damage) against the closest gnoll after Olan's attack.. I half expected to roll two nat 1s.
OOC: We made explosives!
