Since you're trying to put on an act and keep it up, we'll go with Performance this time.
The people around the card game look at their newcomers. "Hmm... You sure you wanna lose your cash that badly?" A surely looking halfling in a leather duster says. "It's a fifty gold buy-in, though we're using silver to break up coins."
As if timed almost perfectly to Borg's mention, a rather well built half-orc seems to have taken his shirt off to show off his well developed muscles, attempting to impress a couple of human ladies across the room. It isn't working very well.
For those who wish to buy in on the card game, we'll use the below:
You pay in the 50 gold, and each round is betting around 10 gold.
You may use one skill to attempt to give you an upper hand in the round. This can be things such as Insight to read a person, deception to keep your poker face, etc. If you can think of something imaginative, I'll probably let you use that skill.
For the first round, you'll make a Dexterity (Playing Cards) check to see how well you do. After that we'll see how it goes and the checks may change from there.
To Kithre:
As you are wandering around the tavern, you can see in the room where the two halflings are performing is a familiar tiefling in ornate clothing, tuning up a lute.
Warren seems to pull off the drunk routine quite well. He has practiced this trick before. The halfling looks to Warren. "Are you sure that one's in the condition to play? We don't want vomit over the cards, ya hear?"
"He's dead." Crispy said, without a hint of sadness to Borg. "When I got out of the Academy, I found him..and murdered him." She pats her blades at her side. "With these, nonetheless. Now, he torments me in my dreams. And here I was, thinking I was rid of him forever." She takes another sip of her drink. "Like..i'm haunted, or something? It's hard to explain. I don't sleep well anymore. But, hey, I don't snore!" She laughs, trying to make light of the situation, but, in fact, her restless sleeping was beginning to concern her.
"Heh, can't say he didn't deserve it chick but killing someone you have known for a long time takes a toll on your mind, trust me, I caused tge retirement of my old Commander, still plays on my mind to this day, he never blamed me but I could tell everyone else did. Oh well, here's to the people we remember and those we really want to forget." Borg says holding her tankard up.

Despite beign ignored by most, Dar listen to Borg and Crispy conversation, as he was drinking with them when they started to drink, but stand quiet as they talk, respecting them. He is not frunk yet, neither interested in the gambling that was happening a few tables away.
He take a look at Cidric's blades though, admiring their quality.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Yeesh, fifty gold is a little steep for my own personal enjoyment tonight. I may just wander about and watch some of the entertainment."Kithre says after they talk about the buy-in fee. As she wanders about, she spots someone near the two performing halflings. No, it can't be. Why in the Hells is she here?she thinks to herself as she looks for a place where she can observe without being seen.
Kithre sneaks off to catch up with the others, keeping her drink with her. As they are enjoying their drinks, a half-elf in leather adventuring attire stumbles over, obviously one that has had a decent fill from the bar. "Heyyy... Ladies... What'cha drinkin' there? Great night, right?"
The card game:
The first hand is dealt out, and it seems like these players are pretty good at hiding their thoughts and expressions from others. Warren finds that he's been given a perfect hand for this first deal, taking the first hand. The others seem to put it down to a lucky start, and Warren has an inkling they may've let him win the hand. It isn't unusual for expert players to goad new players in with a starting win. (Warren's Pot: 40gp -> 120 gp)
When Johann goes to leave the table, the halfling grabs his hand. "We don't leave the table until we're done playing. You don't want to forfeit your buy-in, do you?" He says with a grin. (The grab isn't in an offensive way, more of a friendly caution)
(Do you want to try redoing that? Missing your deception check. If you can think of a more viable skill than Dexterity for your playing card skill roll, then explain it and we can use it if it's a cool enough reason)
(To elaborate, you use your Deception effectively as a way to get a better DC for your Playing Cards check. The Playing cards check could be done with Dex, attempting to draw the correct cards, or Intelligence to count cards from the initial dealing, etc. So you put the way you are trying to win the hand, with your deception asssiting you, and the appropriate Playing Cards check alongside it. Hope that makes sense.)

PbP Character: A few ;)
Crispy stares off to the distance after hearing Borg's words, then slowly smiles and raises her drink. "And to new friends."
"Those we really want to forget.." If only HE would leave ME alone, she thinks to herself, remembering the nightmares.

Johann tells the table,
"One second, just want to make sure my friend won't throw up again."
He takes Warren to the side and whispers,
"You wanna take them for all they got and split the total?"
“You. Kithre.” Crispy calls out. She pats at the seat next to her, pushing it out with her leg, inviting.
"Wha-who-oh! Hi Crispy!" Kithre says, smiling at the other woman. She drops lightly into the proffered chair. "How's the bar treating you?"
"OK. A so-notta is a type of song and the Sister is the one playing the song. I think I got it."
To the card players:
"I'll just watch, please. I only know Three Dragons and I only ever played with Ma for grains."

Borg looks to Kithre and nods to her. "Hey, hows it going?"

Next hand 15
Johann will pretend he got a better hand
(Sorry, accidentally deleted my roll, got a 9 for deception)

(Oh, so just one roll?)
Johann wants to lie about his hand. If it's a good one, lead them on to think it's bad. If it's bad, bluff and say it's good?
