“I guess with Halleth at rest, the rest of the Fine Fellows aren’t really our concern, though it sounds like they aren’t very good people.”
He will take the blanket from Midna’s pack and place it over Halleth. Then he will give his own search of the room for anything else of value or interest.
"No, it sounds as if the Fine Fellows were far from it. Copper may have more information if we wanted to and find Halleth's family in order to return his personal property, not that there is much of that. It would likely be a fight and not really one I want to take on, at least not yet. Maybe on the way out, maybe."
Jaya spots that one of the tables has something attached to the underside. Perhaps left by one of the adventurers from times past, it is a cloth bag that contains several vials of liquid, each carefully labeled: two vials of antitoxin, two vials of poison, two vials of acid and two flasks of holy water.
Additionally, the smiling portrait of Halaster is a work of some artistic merit, if somewhat creepy. It could probably be sold to a collector. It is 3 feet wide and 5 feet tall and weights 10 pounds including the frame.

Jaya will share the knowledge of these vials. "Would any of you like these? Perhaps they can help with your tinkering and the construction of items? I have no use for them but will take the antitoxins in case we need it."
Having eaten enough to no longer feel peckish, Pisgah pulls out the ear horn and steps to the entrance to Midna's room. "I wonder if anything has heard that and is coming to investigate?" Concerned that the fight, and fireball, may have alerted someone or something to their presence, he listens up the corridor leading to the north.
No noise is to be heard from that direction. Upon closer inspection Pisgah quickly finds that the hallway in this direction has collapsed and is now a dead end.
"Okay, folks, the corridor to the north has caved in. There was a door on the north wall of the collapsed room we came through to get here. Let's go check that out."
If no one in the party objects, then Pisgah will go an listen with the ear horn at the door. PERCEPTION roll of 17
This door is decorated with symbols of water. Upon closer inspection, it's clear that it also serves as a water- and airtight seal. As Pisgah listens, he hears a strange slithering sound, somewhat like what you would get if someone were to shove a large hunk of grease across cobblestones.
"There is something moving on the other side of this door. It sounds like a hunk of grease shoved across cobblestones. Maybe a large snail or serpent of some sort? I don't know what it is but the symbols around the door make me think we might want to try another way. The hallway to our east has another hallway branching to the west. We could go check that out and/or see where the hallway running north leads."
If no one objects, Pisgah will head out in the lead and scope the hallway up to where the corridor opens to the left. Assuming nothing comes out of the hallway from the north, Pisgah will take a listen at the door with the ear horn, trying to detect the sound heard at the other door.
From this direction Pisgah hears the same sounds as before. The door is also the same. Using the sounds from both sides, he's fairly sure what whatever is moving within the room beyond must be in the southeastern corner.
To the north, the hallway goes around a corner and continues westward.
The kenku is... intrigued. He'd like to try opening it, but opts to stick with the others. There's a chance it's another slime, and the wizard is honestly reluctant to face another yet again. So he keeps his mouth shut and shrugs.
Canti suggests Rico take any vials anyone else doesn't want as she inspects and collects one of her arrows that isn't damage beyond another use. Then, after grabbing a handful of something edible, she munches on it as the group follows Pisgah around.
"Okay, so I think we are agreed that we don't want to open the door with these symbols around it with something slithering around behind. I will slip on up to the corner to the north and peek around the corner."
Pisgah pulls his shield back around to his arm and goes to the north corner and takes a peek around the corner.
Pisgah spies around the corner to the west. The corridor is easily a 100 feet long, but there is light in the distance that allows you to see some furnished rooms. On the way there, another metal door with a water symbol, just like the two previous ones.
In the room adjoining the northern wall you can just about make out a wooden crate and the flickering of a lantern. Pisgah also makes out the sound of a distant conversation coming from that direction. It sounds like humans rather than goblinoids. There seem to be several people, maybe half a dozen. One of the voices has a strange raspy quality, as if the speaker had some illness of the throat.
No sound is to be heard from the room to the far west, but Pisgah can still make out the form of a bugbear, sleeping on some rags.
Hearing the voices, Pisgah pulls out the ear horn and listens to try and determine the content of the conversation.

Once he hears what is being discussed, he returns to the party. "The hallway runs about a 100 feet. There is light coming from a room on the north about 3/4 of the way down the hall. At the end of the hall there is a sleeping bugbear. There is a group of about six, sounds like humans, in the room with the light. They are talking about <fill in the content of the conversation that is overheard, if any>"
Raspy voice: ".... as for those damned rats, if you manage to catch one, bring it here. We'll get more out of it alive than dead. They've got to be hiding the key somewhere. Maybe they even know what it opens."
Person 2: "Still think we should employ some of those goblins, give them the dirty work. If they get killed, it was worth a try."
Person 3: "They're worthless, wouldn't find their own reflection even if they had any mirrors that haven't already been confiscated by that Yek figure."
Person 4: "Fellas, those six I sensed have stopped."
silence
Person 3: "So what?"
Person 4: "Maybe they're not ours. Could be some damned One-Eyes again."
Raspy voice: "Dord, Arnulf, keep your eyes on the entrance, wouldn't want any surprises. Good catch, X'irlo."
Jaya too will partake in some of the food.

Pisgah passes the information on to the party.
"I think I would vote to leave this room alone, at least for now. Unless someone knows what these markings mean."
OOC: will for others to weigh in....
"I agree, let's leave this room alone, see what other fun we can can uncover" Jaya says.
OOC: Jaya is going to take the 2 vials of acid from Midna's room. Let me know if anyone wants them, but didn't want to leave them behind.
The kenku is... intrigued. He'd like to try opening it, but opts to stick with the others. There's a chance it's another slime, and the wizard is honestly reluctant to face another yet again. So he keeps his mouth shut and shrugs.

Jaya will gladly give the 2 vials of acid to Canti if she wants them, he just didnt want to leave them behind!

Rico collects all the vials that Jaya left behind and adds them to her bag of holding for latter use (by anyone who wants them).
(recorded poison vials as "Poison, Basic (vial)")
