Do any of the bandits investigate the noise we just made?
Not at the present moment. Seems like they're either cautious or really bad of hearing. [If you want to stick around and wait, let me know.]
Nikkitch is looking at the smoldering remains of the ballistae, satisfied with the destruction. The kenku has sunk into a pensive mood and rarely communicates. You get the feeling that the dungeon is not doing his mental state any good. But for now, he sticks around. If he sees an easy way out of here, he might just take it.
Canti moves to the end of the hallway and examines the four arrows she fired. Two are still usable, so she replaces them into her quiver. She's ready to go!
"I heard nothing beyond the door to the south. We should move either south or west, just in case the guild watch is trying to figure out what to do if they heard us" the little kobold says. "Since we disabled those walking crossbows, may has well head west and see what's there, yeah, yeah?"
The door seems safe. After opening it, you see into a what looks almost like a dwarven version of a tavern room. Instead of a bar counter, a stone pillar in the middle of the room has six copper spigots jutting out of it, 3 feet above the floor. Carved into the walls are twenty bas-reliefs depicting drunken dwarves in different poses. One hand of each dwarf protrudes from the wall. Three of these hands grasp copper tankards.
To the west, you see through an open door into another 10-foot-square room. A brass plaque bolted to the western door there has the following words stamped into it in Dwarvish, which Pisgah can read: “BREWERS ONLY! Others keep out! By order of Garrux, Master of Ale and Provisions.”
Pisgah looks at the central spigots looking for any indication of what they may yield or how they work. He looks for a spigot that indicates a dark porter or Stout before he ventures ovet to one of the tankards on the wall and, in dwavish, asks for the tankard. He will then take the tankard back to the spigot and tries to turn the tap.
The spigots don't seem to differentiate between alcohol types, but the smell of ale still lingers around them. Turning the tap reveals that whatever once supplied the refreshing drink must have run dry: nothing comes out.
The copper mug is expertly made and decorated with a jolly depiction of the dwarven god of ale: Hanseath.
Pisgah compares the mug in his hand to the others remaining on the wall looking to see if there is anything different about the other mugs. If there is not, he places the tankard back into one of the empty hands sticking out of the wall before wandering through the open door into the smaller room.
Rico will examine the pillar, trying to figure out how it worked back when it was working. She's trying to determine if the ale was being magically created, drained from a tank in the pillar, pipped in from somewhere else, or some other mechanism. As part of that she'll be looking for any access panels that might reveal the inner workings, or be a place to refill the tank.,
Pisgah compares the mugs: they all look alike, incorporating depictions of Hanseath with decorative dwarvish runes. Probably worth a few (5) gold pieces. The small room going off to the west has no special features except for the door with the plaque.
ArdneK deduces that the bas-reliefs served a decorative function, with the hands also providing convenient holders for empty mugs. It seems like each of the twenty dwarves once held a mug, with only three remaining now.
Rico examines the pillar. The copper spigots disappear in the stone structure. [Investigation: 24]: With a bit of probing and analyzing the structure, Rico is certain that there are copper tubes running throughout the pillar. They are ultimately directed down to the floor and then off in the direction of the door that Pisgah is standing in front. It seems like an entirely mundane construction.

Pisgah doesn't perceive any sound beyond the western door.
Edit: Also, woo, page 100 reached
"There is no sound beyond this door. Does anyone need a rest or do we want to keep going and explore more? If we keep going, do we go South or West? "
ArkneK is good to continue. Was anyone hit? remember everyone has 9 temp HPs from ArdneK's Inspiring Leader feat.
Do any of the bandits investigate the noise we just made?
Does Nikkitch decide this is just too crazy and leave through the north door, dropping a couple of fireballs on his way out of Undermountain???

"ArdneK, did you hear anything at the south door?"
Canti moves to the end of the hallway and examines the four arrows she fired. Two are still usable, so she replaces them into her quiver. She's ready to go!
"Sorry, Canti, I should have picked those up for you. "
Rico hand Canti two replacement arrows from the ones she's made.
"I heard nothing beyond the door to the south. We should move either south or west, just in case the guild watch is trying to figure out what to do if they heard us" the little kobold says. "Since we disabled those walking crossbows, may has well head west and see what's there, yeah, yeah?"
Rico agrees, "Indeed, they must be guarding something important."
Pisgah heads to the west door and looks to make sure there are no traps then opens the door.
