Rico will offer the dozen arrows Canti and anyone else who's quiver isn't full, then save the rest for later.
OOC: Let me know how many your character takes from Rico so I can record the remainder.
She'll collect the items she finds into her sack for dividing up later. Then takes a closer look at the magical necklace (Arcana 11) before putting it away for later as well (Unless Nikk wants to look at it now).
Pisgah gladly takes the healing and offers a word of thanks. He then goes to retrieve his longbow from the hallway. When he comes back he scouts around the room, toes thru the manticore nests, and looks for anything of interest.
Hmm, what is that? Pisgahs eyes fall upon a drinking horn. Not a very pretty thing, would look like junk to most other people. It's made out of the horn of an animal , strengthened with simple iron bands and it's a bit cracked around the edges, but is still able to hold liquid. As soon as you lay your hand upon it it's clear that this is magical.
Canti gladly accepts eight arrows from Rico, which maxes out her quiver. She pulls out her journal and begins sketching the manticores as quickly as she can to not hold up the group. "Bwibble's going to love this," she says to herself.
While waiting to see if the "tingley" drinking horn fills with beer or Ale, Pisgah wanders over to Canti and looks over her shoulder as she draws the manticores. "If you think your Dwibble could do some research, I can try to harvest the wings and tails. Even if not, we could try to stash them somewhere and sell them later when we get back up the well."
Pisgah will try to harvest the wings and tails.
Manticore 1 wings Survival 25 on nat 20 & tail 16 ; second wing 18
OOC: Preyfire, I just reread the section about harvesting the wings and needing 2 rolls per set. I had only rolled once. I just resolved for the second check.
Jaya will move near Nikk and stay within 10/15 feet of him while he moves around doing his investigations, making sure he has a bit of room, “in case” he finds something.
Jaya will look at whatever Nikk is looking at and offer his guidance to Help with any investigations.
DM Note: Only one check required per wing pair. The skill check asked for was nature, but survival does in a pinch, so I'm going to downgrade these checks by 2 each. Pisgah ends up with 4 intact wings, but no sellable tails.
Pisgah: The wings that you harvested seem like sturdy stuff. Would make for a good mantle. Meanthwile, the drinking horn remains blithely ale-free.
Nikkitch opens the door without any issues. As it creaks open, you see that it leads into a hallway going south, with the other two doors doing the same. From this corridor, another branches off into the east. The smell of rotting meat is getting stronger in here. Since Jaya is close, his keen sense of hearing (passive perception) alerts him to a faint crunching sound coming from the corridor going east. It sounds like something is chewing.
Canti, still sketching, smiles and replies to Pisgah. "He didn't ask me to bring anything back. I have no idea if he can make use of them or not. I just know he's going to find these creatures as interesting as I do." She looks over her shoulder at the genasi for a brief glance. "More than that, he's going to be so proud of me!"
"Well, I am sure glad to have you here. You really helped with the manticores. If you don't need these with us I will stack them here by the door then go see what Jaya and Nikk have found."
Pisgah makes his way over to the door to see Jaya and Nikk found.
"I can slip down to the other door and try to get eyes on it. If we think we need to sneak past whatever this is, I can do something to make us all quieter."
"Can. We take. A short. Break?" He asks in Harria's voice. "I. Would very. Much. Like. To examine. That wand. You. Found."
...
"And..."
He continues.
"...And I. Would. Like the. Time. To. Recover a. Little."
In truth, he'd much rather have that spare Fireball ready, in case something worse than flesh-eating flying lions awaits further in.
But his time as a vagrant has taught him that 'tis better to make it worth other's time and leave things vague, so as to avoid betrayal in the foreseeable future. He's been stabbed enough to know that by heart.
Rico agrees, "A rest sounds good to me as well. It will give me a chance to check out the magic necklace I found, and perhaps someone to figure out what magic is on the hearing horn. Also, a bit of time will let the healing finish, so that I can patch people again if needed. And Pisgah could use a bit of rest to recover."
OOC: Reminder that Rico had bandaged Pisgah (if he allowed it) to heal him 14 HP. But he might want to spend a hit die if we take a short rest. At this point we have 4 magic items to figure out (wand, necklace, hearing horn, drinking horn), that alone might be a good reason for a break :-)

[OoC: I think the wand might be enchanted with Identify, which would definitely help to figure out the other stuff. Either that or it gives advantage on finding hidden/obscured things. I know there's another spell it could be, but I'm kind of hoping it isn't.]
DM Comment: Alright, in that case: Short Rest Do keep in mind that a short rest might be enough time for monsters in the dungeon to move around and interrupt your rest, especially if you're in a room they normally visit. This problem is of course exacerbated during a long rest.
Nothing happens this time. You can click short rest on your sheets. The ones not mentioned below can tell me retroactively what they do during the rest.
During the rest, Nikk is able to try out various different combinations with the wand. He finds that this is a wand of secrets and learns the activation gesture.
Meanwile, Rico finds that the necklace can help with things that she is already pretty well equipped to deal with. For it is a necklace of adaptation.

Pisgah takes a short rest and regains 12 hit points and is back up to full health. While resting, he spends time with his hearing horn, hoping to figure out what it can do. He spends time sweeping the surrounding area trying to listen for anything that may try to come upon them.
Jaya grabs a second wind to regain some health before the rest. He can spend some time during the rest investigating the drinking horn if you like Pisgah so we can find out what it does?

Pisgah is down 2 arrows, if there are enough to spare.

Pisgah holds the horn, "Boy, I wish this was filled with cold Bittinger Brown Stout Ale."
Not expecting anything to happen, he continues to hold the horn as he wanders around the room.
Canti gladly accepts eight arrows from Rico, which maxes out her quiver. She pulls out her journal and begins sketching the manticores as quickly as she can to not hold up the group. "Bwibble's going to love this," she says to herself.
Safe in the confidence of his duplication magic, Nikk moves to the very first door on the left, the stench pouring forth. He tries to open the door...
