If Canti is thrown the spices, she asks Rico she or her buddy can carry them as she's carrying all she can without holding the party back.
When Jaya reveals his telepathic lie, Canti nods appreciatively, then looks a little nervous when he admits that the Xanathar Guild might come looking for them. She holds her tongue on both points, however.

Ricco adds the seeds to her backback, right next to her cook's utensils.
To her the Xanathar Guild is just a small local group. But that doesn't mean that they aren't strong in their area, so she heeds the warning to beware of them.
After the group moves into the corridor, Rico carefully shuts the door behind them, so as to leave things looking like they haven't passed through.
Through the door, very far away, Pisgah hears some chanting, as if a couple of high pitched voices are busying themselves with a drinking song. But it's definitely further away than just the next room. That one seems quiet.
The door opens easily. You behold a mostly empty room with two alcoves. In the south wall alcove, moldy bones have been swept into a pile. In the eastern alcove, a tiefling skeleton is hanging from rusty manacles. The skeleton is missing its legs and scraps of clothing still hang from the torso. Written on the wall above the skeleton, in dried blood and using fiendish looking runes, is a text.
Nikkitch [speaks abyssal]: The text is using the same runes as abyssal, but the words look like gibberish. [History 21]: You recall that the infernal language uses the same alphabet as abyssal.
There is another door at the north end of the room, going west.
Pisgah: Since you already know what to listen for and you were able to gauge the distance acurrately, you don't think the "festivities" are behind this door either.
"I don't think that the 'party' noises are coming from this room either but I think we may be getting closer. Do we have a plan of action? I think we will try talking to anyone we see first. Jaya and Nikk, you two seem to know more about the guild, and Jaya seems to have some inroads with them, so will we follow your leads. Let Jaya talk first and then fight if they jump or Jaya draws down on them?"
Pisgah will go listen at the door with the ear horn to try and gauge distance and direction of the noises. Perception roll 10.
The noise bounces around too much in the space to get an accurate guess. At this rate, it could have been loud enough to come through the walls, perhaps where dungeon rooms are close together. Or it's just further ahead.
Jaya will ask the group, “I don’t mind continuing to attempt to talk our way through this area controlled by Xanathars Guild. My telepathic ability was useful with the bugbears, so I will continue to leverage that. I will tell the truth, that we are not looking for conflict with them when I can, and I will lie and/or intimidate if necessary, so that we may pass through as peacefully as possible. If everyone is OK with this plan then great, if not speak up now and we can form a new plan.
If our engagement with the guild turns to violence, well, then the guild will have some open positions in their ranks to fill!”
"Is there something unique about Xanathar's Guild? We haven't encountered any but those two bugbears. Seems like they are just a run of the mill gang of thugs."

Run of the mill thugs with telepathic powers don't forget!
"So, are all of them telepathic? I thought that was somewhat rare. I'll follow your lead but if things start to go south maybe we should have some sort of a code word. If you are trying to talk us past a group and think it is about to go bad, it would be good to have a heads up and be able to act first."
Pisgah moves up to the door leading further west and asks "Are we ready to go through?"

"Xanathar is. A beholder. His. Guild. Runs. Everything. Under. Waterdeep. If by. Unique, you. Mean. His. Is the. Only. Serious. Organization. In the. City, then. Yes. It's. Unique."
"Oh, well that's lovely. Let's hope beauty is in the eye of beholder then." as he pops open the west leading door out of the area with the tiefling skeleton wall art.
“Hopefully I can use my telepathy to warn you all, but having a spoken code word is a good idea, how about the world owl ? If I say the word owl, things are about to get ugly!”

Seeing Jaya nod that the door is safe, Pisgah opens the door a crack and peers through into the other room and reports back what he sees.
Beyond the western door, Pisgah sees a featureless hallway that spans 60 feet before ending in another door.
If Canti is thrown the spices, she asks Rico she or her buddy can carry them as she's carrying all she can without holding the party back.

Pisgah passes on the layout of the hallway to the rest of the team and moves up to the west door and takes a listen.

Rico comments, "I am not from around here, so I will defer to the judgment of those who are."
The Kenku draws a short sigh with the corpse's voice.
"I may. No. Do. Have. Experience. With the. Group. Nasty people. Don't. Remember. Much. Else. But. If. We. Do fight. We. Need. To be. Tactful."
