Even with Borg's strength, she needs a bit of help to carry it back towards the carriage. The lizardfolk give them a safe distance as they leave, the guide watches them leave, blinking once.
Mr. Migello sees the group returning with the chest. "So, are we done here?" He asks.
'Mr. Migello, you obviously know this route better than us. Is there any chance we can make it to civilisation in a single march or is camping overnight our only option?'
"It would be another day before we're out of the swamps." Mr. Migello tells the group. "I'd much prefer to get some shut-eye, albeit a little further away from these folk. Scaly things give me the shivers."
"I'm sorry we had dragged you into this conflict. If it's any consolation, I'll be willing to part with my share of the gold to compensate any damage towards your possessions, Mr. Migello." Chetin offers.
"Yeah, we can look at what's in the chest when we set up camp further south, the lizard folk won't bother us anymore but be careful of other creature around the swamps."

"No, your payment is already with your guild." Mr. Migello tells Chetin as the caravan travels for a short while. The group finds the flat clear area that the lizardfolk mentioned not too far away. "Also the breakages to the cart can be fixed once I get into town. Merchant guilds are quite useful like that." The party can setup for camp that evening. Mr. Migello seems to have a box from within the carriage that folds out into a campfire using magical means.
The party benefits from an long rest, as it appears nothing is coming to hunt the party that night.
(I'll let Borg decide whether she wants to react on Friedrych's words before posting that)
Chetin, while not proficient with shortswords can still attune. Upon doing so, he feels the protective abilities of the blade that warns of nearby threats (Weapon of Warning)
"Well regardless you can pack it in the back." Mr. Migello tells Borg about the chest. "The sooner we're out of here the better."
Borg looks to friedrych. "Yeah being warm is nice and all but opening this thing in the inn will cause people to wonder what treasure we have, those that get curious get greedy and might try something. Wher if we look now, we know what's in here so we can keep it until we get back to the guild." Borg replies as she opens the chest.

Borg grabs the glass rod and presses the button. Initially nothing appears to happen, but after she attempts to move her arm, there is a tremendous amount of resistance from the glass rod, as if it is affixed in the air in front of the half-orc.
"Well, when i pressed this button this rod seems to not want to move, that will come in handy." She replies, pressing the button again and if it becomes light will pack up the trunk before setting off with the others.

Looking inside the chest, not at all feeling hurried by Mr. Migello's question, Akaas points at the bottle and case. "Does anyone know what those are?"

"Yeah we are done, the elder said there is a dry area a short walk southward, so we can camp there for tonight and move on in the morning."

Borg opens the chest to find that there is a pile of gold and silver coins within there, alongside a few other things:

Akaas notices Borg's odd movements — or lack thereof — with the rod. He looks at her hand and then at her face. "What are you doing?" he asks her.

Borg presses the button on the rod again and suddenly it is as easy to move as it was just a moment ago.
"Are you ready to make a move?" Mr. Migello asks the group, saddling up his horses again for the hopeful exit of the swamp.
