"Nah, it's from our stuff." The human says. "We've got some others back at our place, just in case you need to get someone back up."
The Thirsty Tanner
The drink for Crispy and Borg is not bad for its cost, but isn't the best ale they've had. The barkeep goes back to serving a couple of others while they drink a bit more.
OOC: I'm going to assume Chetin joined Akaas as he ran out to investigate the sound, but has just decided to let the old halfling do the talking. While Akaas has no idea what "get someone back up" would mean, Chetin would understand the reference to using the diamond for spells. So, I'm going to pause here and let Chetin respond next.
"Yeah chick, maybe another time in another tavern, but this place is great for having a moment to ourselves without others crowding around us, but anyways tomorrow we need to take a Job that gets us some coin, cause damn i need it."
As a divine caster, you reckon that the diamond you were just handed could be used for a Revivify or Raise Dead. Akaas can add it to his character sheet as a diamond worth 500 gp
The Thirsty Tanner:
Crispy and Borg seem to enjoy their drink without being disturbed. The guys there seem quite respectful, as they happily keep in their conversations and buying plenty of ale. "A round on me!" An elf to one side of the bar says, holding up some gold pieces. "Let's have a good time!" The other patrons cheer as the barkeep chuckles, beginning to pour out the extra drinks.
The Common Room:
"Right, well we'd best be off. Got a report to do." The human says. "Team... Crimson Fang, right? Well, guess we might see you around." The group begins to make their way out, the elf has finished using his spells to clean the soiled patched on the ground and pulls the door shut behind the group.
Akaas accompanies Chetin back to their room, stowing the diamond for safe keeping. "I appreciated your point of view earlier before we were interrupted. You've given me something to consider." He rubs his wrinkled hands together. "I feel like carving something, so I'm going to go see if I can find any wood pieces I can purchase."
OOC: Akaas will ask around to find out if there are any trash pieces of wood in the building he can get his hands on.
Akaas and Chetin are discussing their deities' dogmas and own codes when they hear a roar of noise coming from the main room. Friedrych is woken by the noise as well, as it is just down the hall from his lodgings.
Friedrych opens up one eye as the unknown sound reverberates throughout the hall. He heaves himself up so that he can plant his elbows on his mattress and looks at the door. 'That sounds like a job for someone else.' He mutters sleep drunk before turning around and pulling the bedsheet back up.
'Shouldn't you go see what happened?' 'Not my problem. Sleeping now.' 'If we are living here, doesn't that make it our problem as well?' 'So a loud bang happened in a building filled with strangers of which half can use magic. I'm sure it's fine.' ... 'Still awake?' 'I'm just curious about what that was.' 'Then maybe you should go check it out?' 'What, all by myself?' 'Just make sure no one sees you and you'll be fine.' '...' 'I'll do that thing you like.' 'You mean it?' 'In the morning. Just let me sleep. You go have fun investigating whatever that was. Just be careful.'
The chamber door opens up to a crack. Some time later, it seemingly closes again on its own.
'So...?' 'Bunch of people teleported into the common room. They were wet.' 'See, bunch of strangers appearing out of nowhere dripping water. Told you it was nothing to worry about. Let's go back to sleep.' 'Don't forget your promise.' 'In the morning, Lulu. Goodnight.'
As he falls back to sleep, Friedrych hugs a handful of empty air to his chest. A moment later, two red wings appear out of nowhere, followed by a segmented tail, a red body, tiny claws and pointed ears. 'Goodnight.'
Unless something drastic or dramatic happens, Friedrych will sleep until morning.
It was for a number of reasons, mostly because it helped her sleep at night when she was riddled with nightmares. Last year, she had met a dwarf named Chubby Beersmith who taught her how to hold her ale, and it was difficult, for Crispy was in amazing shape and had literally no bodyfat. But it mostly was for the dreams, the visions of being tormented by her murdered father. Not to mention it also helped her dull the pain of her past, and soothe the savage beast inside.
Tonight was no exception as she drank with Borg, and the more she drank the more she forgot about her problems. The elf had bought another round and even with Crispy’s stamina, it was starting to get a little fuzzy. As people talked to them, Crispy was getting warm and a bit slurry, as Chubby’s training was starting to wane. Even in the Academy did she have to keep up with the guys, and she always did, but tonight she might have had one drink too many. Maybe.
She was happy tonight, it was a rare occasion, and in her flirtatious mood because of it, she held the urge to remove her own clothes and instead played with Borg’s. Even thoughts of Etla came to her mind as they talked, and she mentioned to Borg how she already missed her not being on the team anymore. She wondered what was on Akaas’s mind, or why the new guy had many faces? She smiled at these thoughts and kept drinking herself into oblivion, secretly wishing there was a better way to deal with her past and her mistakes.
Borg spends the evening with Crispy, helping her forget after a few drinks Borg will carry the drunken Chick back to their room and tuck her in for the night. Borg will then fall asleep next to the elf.

Akaas spends some time looking around for loose wood or timber to use. On his travels, he comes across the lost and found area on the same floor as the mess hall. After enquiring, they mention occasionally they find bits and bobs of such, and pass him a couple of blocks of wood which could be used to make some small statuettes.
Borg and Crispy have a wonderful night out, getting along with the folks at The Thirsty Tanner. There is some alcohol memory lapses, and a major hangover incoming.
(So, moving on towards the following morning)
The following morning, each member of the party receives a message in their head, waking them up:
Good morning, please report to the recruitment office as soon as possible. There are things to discuss about your current team makeup. Recruitment Officer Barrows.
(Elf? The elf bought us around round, i'm human =P)
The nightmares were always the same.
She's a child, in a rolling field of grass as far as the eye can see in every direction. It's the dead of evening and when she looks up at the sky, the star patterns are completely different. In the distance, so far away, yet just within reach is a city illuminated by lights. The pitch black silhouette of her dead father holding a club standing there some distance away, walking towards her. Her heart leaps into her throat, but she's just a child, she tries to run, but it's like running in sludge. Eventually he catches up and the club comes down on her, breaking bones, relentless, punishing, and all she can hear is him screaming..angry, vengeful, and evil.
"GAAAA!" She jolts awake, drenched in sweat, her heart pounding, her hands shaking. She covers her face and struggles to keep calm, the nightmares are always so real and vivid, and always remain on her mind. She balls her hands up into fists and presses them against her eyes to try and get the memories to go away, but they always linger. She looks to her side and see's Borg, but she's shaking so bad she stumbles into the washroom and vomits.
She heard the voice in her head and begun cleaning up the mess she made.
Crispy begins to clean up her mess, noticing a strange orange conical device upturned on the floor, sat atop it appears to be a militiaman's helmet. Where the heck did they get them from?
Borg jolts awake at the voice and grabs her sword, she looks around and then hears the vomiting and clean up in the other room. She sighs and gets up, heading over to Crispy and holding her hair back. "Hey chick, you feeling okay?"

Akaas opens his eyes and looks over at Chetin in the other bed. "Did you just hear ... a voice in your head?" When Chetin affirms the strange occurrence, the halfling sits up and shakes his head. "This place," he comments. His short legs hang over the side of the bed, nowhere near reaching the floor. He notices on the stand beside his bed head the small stack of wood blocks he was able to procure the night before and the roughed-in image beside it. He picks up the partially carved piece and turns it in his nimble fingers. He looks at it with eyes that are confused and a bit sad. Placing the wood back down, he gets up and gets ready for the day in order to obey the voice's request.
Crispy wipes a tear and composes herself when Borg speaks. “Yeah. Sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you. I just, uh, i’m sick from the uh, drinking. Sorry.”
She closed her eyes and sat on the floor, leaning against the wall, hating herself for so many reasons, especially being ashamed of not being able to tell Borg the truth. She looked up and noticed the device on the floor.
(For those of you who have had any knowledge of magic, you can identify that the message in your head was a Sending. You have a feeling you can send a quick reply back to whomever sent the message)
Akaas gets up for the day and can hear some noise coming from the next door down (Crispy and Borg). It appears he wasn't the only one woken up.
Borg looks abd sits beside Crispy on the floor and simply puts an around her. "It's fine chick, no need to feel bad, it happens. I think, that was a way for the people in charge to gather us to talk."

Friedrych nearly falls out of bed at the sudden intrusion of the message in his head. 'You know,' he mumbles as he rubs the sleep out of his eyes. 'Two voices inside my head are enough, I don't really need to add to that.' He gently nudges the Imp in his bed aside so he can get out without much fuss. A couple of minutes later, Friedrych is dressed and ready.
'Come on, Lulu.'He softly pokes the imp in her belly.'We need to go to work.'
'What about your promise?'Lulu asks as she rubs her eyes in an almost identical manner as Friedrych did before.
'I know, I know.' He replies while offering his shoulder for her to sit on. 'But we need to find a brass brazier for that somewhere. I'm sure there is one lying around here somewhere.'
With that said, Lulu flies up to Friedrych's right shoulder and loosely drapes her tail around his neck to steady herself. She turns invisible as the duo steps out of the room and heads towards the recruitment office to see what warranted the magical wake-up call.

“Sounds good to me!” And she drank. In a gay bar. With a gal who had arms twice her size.
OOC: He would and its mostly due to my weird sleeping habit right now.
"Well, I'm not capable of such feats yet so I'll entrust it to you, Akaas. Once I am able, I'll ask for it from you if our team ever suffers a fate."
