Sheila nods, "Alright sounds simple enough." She heads into the store. After a couple of minutes she returns, hefting a bag of bolts while carrying in her hands a silver rapier and axe. "I'll be right back with the others." She rushes off again after she sets the weapons she took out onto a table. She returns again after a few minutes, carrying with both hands a silver greatsword and a spear on top, wrapped in a cloth so she wouldn't cut herself. "Phew, okay, so here's the silver for you all." The weapons are in good condition, not much wear upon them. The dwarf stayed silent throughout the whole transaction, mounting the finished shield onto a wall. "And remember to clean them when you're giving it back, we'll only charge the inquisition if we have to." Sheila says.
* Your weapon of choice shall now be able to fully damage fiends.
As you all finish equipping yourselves, a kobold scurries into the forge. He looks at your medallions and sighs, "You're the people who are going to get rid of those fiends, yes?" He does not wait for you all to answer, "Please, My friends and I just spotted a devil in the sewer! They sent me to go get someone from the barracks and they sent me here, so please help me!"
As Sheila returns with their new weapons Gylbard pulls his hammer out from it's ring and tucks in under his arm beneath the cloak. Taking the new silvered battleaxe from the table, he slides the handle into the ring. Seeing the kobold race into the room he turns around to face it.
"Yeah that's us. We've got the kit so lead the way"
As they move out of the forge he remembers the hammer under his arm and grabs it with his right hand. For a moment he looks about his person thinking before giving a shrug, reaching over his shoulder and placing it in the javelin quiver over his shoulder.
Xanni takes the spear and starts to search for a place to put it, but when the kobold runs in she gives up and just holds it in her hand. She positions herself so she can see the most, and briefly looks back to Sheila.
"Thank you! We'll make sure to get them back in good shape!"

He gives his new silver rapier a few flicks and slashes at the air, careful not to come close to anyone else, to test the quality of the blade, then turns to the rest of the group.
"Well, what are we waiting for? There are fiends about, and near our headquarters no less! Time to rout the beasts."
Lamb doesn't inspect the bolts. She's not to question the word of her superiors. Though it may be somewhat difficult, she would have to collect the silver bolts from those she hits with them, then clean them. She was told to return the provisions when the mission was over, and so she would have to...
Lamb bows to dwarf and his apprentice, and proceeds to follow the others.

The kobold leads you all down the street and into a alleyway. He still went forward, leading into more tight spaces and alleyways, until he stops at a sewer gate. The gate is already open as the kobold hops downs. You hear a splash of water and a few more, "Come on! They're down over here!" The kobold says as he jumps in place impatiently, splashing the water. There is a ladder down into the sewer, so you all don't have jump.
Gylbard ushers Lamb down through the hole before following down the ladder himself. The whole thing is quite clumsy and awkward as he held his left arm under the cloak the whole time, using just his right to grip onto the rungs.
Gylbard had Lamb go down the hole before he or anyone other than Xanni did. While in the past, she would have considered him a coward for such an action, she simply went down.

As you all make your way down, you're hit with a foul stench. You stand upon the sewer's stone pavements along the sides, water steadily rushing by in front of you. Ten feet from you is the other side's pavement. The sewer is lit by the torches lined along the walls of the sewer, mostly thirty feet apart from each other and upon each turn of the sewer. You look to your left and see the same kobold bouncing upon a simple stone bridge with no railings. "In here, in here!" He points to a door at the end of the bridge, going into a sewer wall, is a simple wood door. Nothing noticeable upon it except a few scratches on the lower half of it and a brass door knob, slowly rusting away.

Alfred will peer down the hole into the sewer with disgust, hesitating for a moment visibly, but then pulling himself together and climbing down the available ladder. As he lands behind the rest and looks down the hall where the kobold is now gesturing, and raises an eyebrow.
"And just what sort of fiends are we here to find, creature?" He calls out to the kobold distrustfully. He examines the creature closely to judge its response.
Jakton climbs down the rickety ladder into the sewer. He grimaces at the smell before snorting and spitting into the flowing water. He looks at the door that the kobold has indicated and nods with Alfred's question. "Aye. I'm keen to know exactly what we might be facing as well."

The others wish for some sort of information. Unfortunately, she was not commanded to assist in the questioning of the Kobold. Still, Lamb had decided to assist in her own way. The kobold gestures wildly, flapping his arms, "Winged devils with sharp tails but as small as me!" The kobold looks quite scared as rushes by the door. As far as you can tell, he's just scared and looking for you all for help.
The stonework is rough and somewhat unaligned but is still a stable bridge. The door looks unremarkable except for the few scratches onto the door. As you examine it more, it appears the door's hinges have been taking a beating. Someone or something has been trying to break into the room, or out of it. Not much noise can be heard except from your group's approach and the kobold's frequent jumping. Lamb, you see a shadow dart past to a path in the sewers to the right of you, across the water.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alfred scoffs a bit at the creature's panicked response, but stares warily at the deep scratches on the door and the worn down hinges.
"Perhaps a subtle approach would be advisable.." He mutters to himself, stepping forward. He continues moving forward onto the stone bridge and crouches a bit, attempting to move quietly across the stone and up to the door directly.

He checks the door for a lock, and if it has one and it is locked, he will pull out a lockpick from his vest, and attempt to pick it. Once the door is (hopefully) unlocked, he'll place his ear to it to see if he can hear anything moving around on the other side.
Alfred, you practically go silent, despite the wet sides. The kobold sneaks up behind you, watching you creep. You stay to the side of door and reach for where the lock is. And as you search for it, the door gives and slowly opens up. You hear the door give a slight groan before you manage to catch it. Inside you can hear a laugh and then slicing sound, then again, and again. A small figure stands over another, on the floor and bleeding onto the floor. The small figure had leathery red skin with red bat like wings from his back, its tail rather different, in a red shell ending with a stinger. It repeatedly stabbed the one below it, who is a kobold and already stopped moving. It laughs as it does, not noticing the door open slightly. You can see a few other fiends go about the room, picking at bodies and looking about. In total, there are four of the similar fiends in the room.
Alfred's eyes widen at the sight of the mutilated kobold on the ground, and memories of his house servants flash in his mind before he shakes his head a little, dispelling them.
He turns grimly to look at the others gathered on the far side of the bridge, and holds up 4 fingers on one hand, then points inside the room. He spares a quick glance to the kobold behind him, and ushers him away before he can take a proper look through the cracked door. Then he slowly draws his silvered rapier from its sheathe, letting it hang at his side.

Before she could address the moving shadow, one of the others had already crossed the bridge to scout out the room ahead. He foundsome targets, but whether they were the same as the figure that scurried away was anyone’s guess. Lamb still needed to inform them regardless.
Before that, however, others in the group had begun to move as well. First the Kobold, then Ser Xanni...they intended to take on the task at hand. She had to do something to tell them of a possible concern or threat to their mission. So she attempted to sneak forward as well in an attempt to let them know before they attacked and made their presence known...
