To be fair, that scene had nothing to do with the removal of either the ejected player or the player that later withdrew from the tale.
The scene with the baron did play out in a way that resulted in that particular NPC / PC relationship souring ... but from my point of view, it was just another scene in the game.
Later, one of the players was removed from the tale. This was due to a repeated inability to follow established posting guidelines (they had also received an earlier warning via PM regarding their behavior ... so they were out of 'chances' as it were).
A second player also withdrew, and they did so in an act of solidarity with the original fellow who found themselves ejected.
Geez don't remind that one please....... I go to sleep and everything is fine, I wake up and suddenly the mayor of the town has banned us from anything remotely fun..... I guess good that those players ain't here anymore.
And that's also how social encounters go sometimes. Just like every combat encounter not resulting in victory for the party, every social encounter doesn't always end in a "win" for us, either.
Me personally, I was ok with the mayor getting upset with us, because it was a natural result of how the party pushed things, and it maybe gave us some insight into the mayor himself. And sometimes the actual player learns a lesson, too, depending on what their goals were.
Unfortunate news, gang. Real life time commitments have reared their ugly head and Ashen_Age has withdrawn from the tale.
Accordingly, Agnes the warlock will be written out of future scenes (the character will opt to travel with the Vistani and the next morning will part ways with the other heroes).
I will open up a slot or two in the recruitment thread to replace this player.
With the party about to visit the village of South Fork ... that would be the ideal time to add a new player or two.
With Agnes' departure, one of the sending stones is now unclaimed. Rinn has the other stone.
Normally, a character that departs the tale will take all of their gear with them, but since this is a paired item ... I will allow it to be placed with another character.

Rinn can take Agne's sending stone and give it to someone else when convenient.
Also, that's a huge bummer about Agnes, but definitely understand! I've been super busy as well, but I've been lucky enough to be able to check in every couple of days, at least. Always sad to see a party member go =(

And also … not mayor. Baron.
A royal. As in ‘off with their head’ royal. Some nobody insults a sitting Lord, in his own manor, drama naturally ensues.
Oh don't get me wrong, I loved the RP there. It's just one of those embarresing childhood memories of sorts
I had a very busy couple of days. I'll get caught up tonight with this.
No worries. Post just went up today.
If folks need a couple days before making a post that is fine by me.
I have some running around to do this morning but I plan on updating the IC thread this afternoon.

I can ask my friend maybe if you want.

Sent him recruitment link. Monopeace by nickname. He would definitely not drop out
Two new players will be joining the tale, gang.
Please welcome MonoPeace and DeltaEdge27.
For the folks that are creating characters ... my plan is to introduce them as soon as the heroes get to the village of South Fork.
Hello! Also rolled 1 on my hit dice for lvl 2 :(
Welcome to the party!
Well, then you are in good company.
The players have begun affectionately calling themselves the 'low rollers.'
Hi! I’ll get my stuff uploaded soon! Excited to join you guys!
