The party prepares for battle somewhat aware of what is going to thanks to Smudge and Darbakh's knowledge with Abyssal matters. As you continue to prepare up from what seems like nothing rises a demon.
Out of the sand.....More likely a protal opened just below the sand a beast rises above the sand a few ft. The area has become Dimly lit due to the sky turning dark. A grin seems to show on the demons face. "I have been ask to come kill you. It shall be done."

Rather than flinching like he did at the mummy, Darbakh stands resolute when the demon rises from the ground. He lets out a long, exaggerated sigh when the demon threatens them, resting on his maul and pinching the bridge of his nose as if he’s emotionally exhausted.
”Great, another slave, so lawful obeying its orderly master,” he says; there’s a hint of insincerity in his voice, though only those who know him might recognize it. “What’s wrong, demon? Did your master grow tired of having you shine his shoes for a day?”
Ic. “Bob. Great seeing you. Have seen you since the last get together over at aunt janes house…. I did suggest you work a little in your skin color;looking a bit dull, but who am I to judge. Other than trying to killl us. What brings you here. I’m sure this is all just a big misunderstanding and who is trying to kill us is it uncle Karl or someone new in your life”
can I try pursuasion to have him tell us who sent him?
I also have Lars glance 360 to ensure only one threat
Amused as he is by his companions' patter, Smudge is uninterested in talking with an underworld beast that has made clear its murderous intent. His only contribution to the conversation, just before light shoots from his hands towards the demon, is to yell, "Tymora, help me send this demon back to the depths from whence it arose!"
Initiative 20 (nat) +3+1 (inspiration from dragon) = 24
Guiding Bolt: A flash of light streaks toward a creature of your choice within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 4d6 radiant damage, and the next attack roll made against this target before the end of your next turn has advantage, thanks to the mystical dim light glittering on the target until then.
I have started the map session and everyone is 50 ft from the demon. The familiars are flying to the sides a little closer to the demon but not at risk......yet.
As the 2 other demons start to appear Lars communicates with Petnan the yells Antitoxin potion now.
Everyone downs an antitoxin potion if you want. Advantage on poison.
Smudge has the init:
Just as 2 more demon's appear 20 ft from the party.
More common and with Lars, Smudge and Darbahk knowledge they know they are Dretches from their looks.
Smudge's attack meant for the demon hits Dretch A square in the chest as it popped up from it's portal. 16 dam to Dretch A almost dropping it. It stands though even more pissed off than before.
Dretch A and B have init
They move forward 20 ft and Drop a 10 ft radius Fetid cloud.
Everyone that starts its turn in that area must succeed on a DC 11 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn.
Roll with advantage if you took the antitoxin potion or if you have that advantage already.
