MOVE: Ral Ral spins and swings at the Main Demon; (spending 30 feet of movement; first diagonal costs 5 ft. of movement, second costs 10 ft., third costs 5 ft., etc.) BONUS: drinks a potion of greater healing 15
Darbakh furrows his brow in confusion at the sudden change in weather. "Wait, the sky is changing again? The surface really is strange," he mumbles. His owl hoots at him argumentatively.
"Petnan, let me whack him some more with my healing staff." Smudge says with a smile; clearly he is not going to actually whack Ral but instead gently touch him with the staff so as not to harm the staff or cause offense to Ral who has demonstrated great ability to harm others. "The staff regenerates healing charges over night and I do not believe our potions refill overnight, so lets save those for emergencies," he explains. "That is two of the four encounters, correct?"
"Feeling better, big guy? Need any more" asks Smudge. "And I have thought about what you have said Petnan. You are correct - it is probably better for Ral to have some healing potions in case he is out of reach. " Smudge passes Ral one of the healing potions, leaving himself with two. While in his bag, Smudge gets distracted and pulls out the scroll he is taking notes on. He quickly starts writing on the scroll, periodically waving it to more quickly dry off the ink.

Petnan finds a chest nearby. Odd that it's just out in the open and wasn't noticed prior to the fight or during the fight. Perhaps it was payment for our death or reward for our victory you wonder.
Inside you find...4 Potions of healing, 4 potions of greater healing, 4 potions of antitoxins, 40 x pp 10 gp 50 sp, 4 x pearls 100 gp each.
2 Handy Haversack one marked Lars and the other marked Runok. They are specifically designed to be pouches the fit where they can use their talons or arms to gather items from them in flight.

ic Humm. I fell as if we are being watched as chess pieces on the board. Even split of treasure?”
Lars let’s see how this looks on you -puts sack on and we put one of each of the three type of potions into the pockets
On money 10pp, 2gp, 10sp, and 1 pearl for me. other get same plus can split the 2gp and 10sp for an extra gp total each
Smudge nods in agreement and pockets the various goodies. “Yes, let’s split the loot. Happy to contribute portions to the flying ambulances, if needed.” He also has the disquieting feeling that they are being used, but, thinking of the gold dragon, takes comfort that one of the players is on their side. ”Petnan, do you want to hold the extra coins to buy stuff for the group?”
Darbakh frowns when looking at the chest. “Are we able to rest yet, though? Or are we being watched?”
No rest is available.

The Dragon Pramend placed the chest there. It was masked magically and timed to become visible at a certain amount of time or the magic wore off when a certain amount of time passed. You also realize this is not the treasure that Pramend spoke of once the tasks have been completed. If you have used your inspiration, you find it has been restored.

we may want to start a healing potions fund
Ral says, "Starting a fund for potions would mean we intend to stick together. You three can each have an extra gold piece. I'm a bit flighty and tend to move about a bunch. There could be a big adventure come along we get scooped up in. Who knows. Seems like these forest runs are quick side quests. This one seems a bit more structured than the last few I've been on."

Smudge. You need two of those staffs and alternate between them every other day.
Ral we may want to give Lars two potions to administer to you if you go down.
"This is true", Ral replies. It is once a day and a limited amount.
