From Koselig: (ooc: if Cha!jil is flying and carrying Koselig even at a speed of 10 feet (20 feet if dashing) you might see us up in the skies... not sure if where Tess is?)
Seeing that at least two of his companions are still alive reinvigorates the captain's indomitable attitude as he faces the huge foe with those who can still fight.
Tetrevess' firebolt singes it's way theough a cascade of raindrops as it unerrungly strikes the broad side of the crocodilian elder dinosaur, who roaors in pain at the insult.
Sparhawk attacked it head on last round and used vow of enmity so if it is trying to move, he would get an opportunity attack:
(Opportunity attack if allowed: To hit: 22, Damage: 11)
Sparhawk continues to engage the beast, and hopefully spots Cha!jil and and Koselig. He continues to pray to Marduk to intervene and save these people who's primary goal is to fight undead in this area. He continues to fight, but this time, he places a hunters mark on the creature. (bonus action/ hunters mark)
All attacks with advantage: To hit: 19, Damage: 10
Minor retcon: LA (following sparhawk's aoo, prior to movement) Etali bites Sparhawk 16 for 21 piercing and Sparhawk is grappled (escape DC 16) and restrained.
<Sparhawk will have a hard time catching up to the creature tomake those attacks, but for the sake of the narrative, he somehow covers the ground. It has a base speed of 80ft, plus used 2 LA to move 80ft more. Unless the attack above lands, then the movement is RAW, since Etali is carrying the Captian. >
Etali's jaws narrowly miss Sparhawk, as the half-oec dives out of the way. The monstrous beast seems unconcerned with thus and continues tonsearxh the wall for any other point of vulnerability, as a hail of spears and bolts rain down from.the fort, rivaling the torrent of rain brought along with the beast. (Retcon concluded, unless players have something to add)
Within the fort, the rainfall soaks the encampment, the moat beyond the walls flowing back into the fort and the ground turned utterly to mud, the katrines overflowing and the fulness of the place forcing any able-bodied person to climb the remaining watchtowers and the bedridden ro be carried to shelter as best csn be afforded.
Outside the wall, Sparhawk, in a literal flash appears beside the great reptile and engages, but deals little damage the the enormous creature.
Koselig's DEX: 21 (if failed but a bonus of 4 would help it succeed then Koselig will use their Flash of Genius feature)
With Etali bearing down on them and not being able to do much else while being borne aloft by Cha!jil, Koselig will cast Vortex Warp on Etali to instantly teleport him back 90 feet to where he started from just moments before.
DC 16 CON to resist the teleport.
"Fly up! Fly up! We need to get away from him!"
Koselig's WIS: 7 (if not used for the DEX save above and it would help then Koselig uses their Flash of Genius bonus here instead)
Cha!jil did as instructed, though she was more inclined to go further away than ascend to biting height....but she didn't have any flight experience so did as she was told.
As a flash if lightning illuminates the scene below, the path of ionization narrowly missing Ch!jil, but close enough be felt to minir effect, the dwarf notices something on the sail of the huge reptile. Etali had a man-made object strapped to his sail. The contraption is a riot of pipes and gears with a series of small round glass dials. The gears and wheels turn slowly driving some unknown mechanism. Though not small, the device is hard to see unless you're alive Etali looking down, or seeing it from a distance at the correct angle.
<just seeing where the vortex warp js pointed. I know it says 90 ft, but im reading the spell's description and I think @Brian_Avery has a more conservative interpretarion. I th9nk 90ft is the max distance to the target if the spell, but like most things in Steixhaven, the spell os OP AF and the actual drstination is badically anywhere on a solid surface or water that fits the creature and yoi can see. If its just moving 90 ft, it can covwr that in one round, so not a big deal, but maybe there's something else.>
<Ok. Inspired. I hate how legendary resistance works, and all the mechanics like it. Honestly. So let's DCC-ify it. I stead of spell failure, it just does something else...related>
As Cha!jil looks down from above, she sees Kos cast his spell. The air around the dinosaur, filled with falling rain, warps and twists, like a haze above the hit ground beaten by the sun. And with a silent pop, the dinosaur disappears.
(Probably a late post for BA: ooc: I know Etali has legendary actions and can probably cover that distance in no time, but Koselig doesn't know that or what else to do while being carried by Cha!jil... it should buy us another round or two and if Cha!jil used the flying elixir, which only has a fly speed of 10 feet, then they could of started out at 20 feet high (10 feet movement and 10 feet dash) plus they just moved and dashed again so now we're 40 feet up in the air, and if i just bought us another round then maybe we could be as high as 60 feet when Etali gets back (if they come back, they might be confused why they are suddenly back away 90 feet from where they just were?).
Briefly, he thanks Marduk for the divine intervention.
The exhausted Captain looks around for anyone close to him who has been severely injured.Like a field medic, he decides who needs immediate care. He will touch those that he can, healing some of their wounds (Lay on hands), his power repairing broken bones, and closing bleeding wounds.
Then, he will try to find his friends, who he has barely seen since the horrific chaos ensued.

Tess says a prayer and uses mass healing word on 6 in range, healing for 8 HP damage each.
she launches a firebolt at the creature for 16 to hit, 21 fire damage if hits.
Yeah, still in battle. I always say "dialogue is free."

Anybody currently flying in the air in a lightning steam, make a DC16 Dex save against lightning for ½ of 17 lightning damage.
Etali claws at the half-orc on his back and swings his tail at the priest chasing him
Claw 18 for 17 slashing
Tail 25 for 17 bludgeoning.
All the while jt us still trying to move around d the perimeter of the fort.
Perne calls out to Sister Cyas and Undril Silvertusk "it's looking for another way in!"
The ancient spinosaurus makes it to west corner, following along the spiked-filled trench ro the point where Cha!jil is escaping.
Etali's efforts to determine the pursuant clerics prove effective.
Both priests survive, but are badly hurt.

Forgot to add modifier (+7) moot, still fails. Where did you want it to go? It's got LR, but maybe I'll just pretend it doesn't.
