(you might have used 50ft of rope to really tie up the goblin...)
"You can go in cave now. Watch out for wolves in the right cave inside. You not goblin so they might attack. They are on chains so just don't get close"
Bok'Shir shrugs to the goblin he now knows is called Blik, and heads off towards the main cave entrance to take a look inside, and see how far down the cave to the right is.
Muck does a double-take when it hears Blik's name."Oh! I keep forgetting that every humanoid has a name! I hope I wasn't being too rude. Nice to meet you, Blik Who is Still Alive. I am Muck Who is Used to Not Be Alive."
Considering the entrance to the cave, Muck offers up a suggestion... "I could go in first if you want me to look ahead. I'm not the sneakiest sneak in the world, but I tend to blend in with the scenery pretty well." The little detached chunk of Muck that's riding on the goblin waves its own tiny pseudopod. "I also have this little piece of myself I can separate if that's any help to our rescue effort."
Bridgette... does not feel especially bad about killing creatures that tried to kill her and apparently want to eat their contact.
"You know, they probably have some rope," Bridgette points out. "Goblins aren't exactly shy about taking prisoners, so they've got to have something on them to bind captives."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Penley, predictably, also does not feel bad about killing those goblins. In his time in the Under-dark, the foul creatures were always considered nature despoiling vermin.
He takes in Bridgette's suggestion, and bends down to search the unconscious Goblins for rope, muttering something. The rest of the party can vaguely make out "Why...no one...prepared..."

They have no rope on them either. Blik pipes up "You can always use this rope if you need a rope. I won't run away or you will just kill me. I can hold someones hand if it makes you feel better about me not being bound."
Bok'Shir continues to move slowly into the main cave, looking for that right hand cave where the wolves are. He hasn't really realised the others are still looking for rope.
Penley sternly looks at Blik, as if to say You really expect me to believe that?. turning to Muck, he gratefully takes the rope and begins binding the two unconscious goblins.
Assuming tying up three goblins doesn't take 50ft of rope, he turns back to Muck "If our little friend here expects us to take no lives, that probably means we will have to tie up more goblins. Can I cut this rope so that way we have more? Even if we do that, my rope is still intact in case you guys need to scale a wall or something"
OOC: By the way, DM, I am going to leverage my innate climb speed to great effect if I can. Hope and pray for high ceilings!

Looking back into the cave. "So, what do you think? Should I slide on in there and take a gander?"
If given the green light, Muck will proceed into the cave, reverting to a limbless blob that slithers along the ground like a puddle... wearing a backpack.
Stealth: 13 (plus hopefully a nice little bonus for seeming like just another innocuous blob in a cave? (big, hopeful toothy grin)

You assume the stone is dark grey? It's actually a luminous yellow.... (yes I joke). I'm feeling generous. Roll any (even) sided die, on an even result you may have advantage.
Has Blik been left alone with Bridgette or are you all going? Will resolve stealth rolls following that answer
There is a lot of puddles. And a stream. The cave is dark, so unless you have darkvision you can't see. The sound of water also limits how well you can hear. Bok'shir, the opening to the right where the wolves are is about 10ft inside the entrance. A few uneven stone steps ascend to a small, dank chamber on the east side of the passage. The cave narrows to a steep fissure at the far end and is filled with the stench of animals. Three chained wolves snarl and rattle their chains as you approach the cave mouth. Each wolf’s chain leads to an iron rod driven into the base of a stalagmite.
Bok'Shir gives a little whoop as the big goblin lookout falls to Bridgette's staff strike.
When asked about rope though, he has to shake his head and shrug, "No rope".
He moves across to their helpful goblin captive, "What next? Safe go look in cave?".

"Thanks....erm, you have name?", Bok'Shir asks the goblin.
"Of course. Doesn't everyone? I am Blik. You have already killed Smok, Gwek and Beedo. I don't know who is on guard currently to give you their names"
(Yes, I am giving you names of the dead in a slight attempt to make you feel guilty for killing them even though they attacked first....)

Muck will be actively resisting the urge to attempt conversation with every other puddle of standing water they come across.
