Krikas
"Phew! That was a lot more real than the fights I've been in before" exclaims Krikas as he walks over to Briar's collapsed form. "Is there anything anyone can do for him? I would but my knowledge of the Weave is only limited. I think next time I'll keep some magic spare. See what you can do to comfort him Aelinn."
Walking from fallen foe to foe he collects the bolts and arrows that are still intact. At the archers corpse he spends more time and looks through her belongings. "This one seemed a leader. Might be something here".
Investigation 8
Once finished he returns the arrows to Aelinn and anything of interest to a pile somewhere between Rusty and Felmar. "This is all I found." He settles down on his haunches and breathes deeply, exhausted by the battle.
Sorry Krikas I don't have any way of making the healing go faster. Next time we need some health potions, now he just needs rest to allow the wound to heal. He is a true believer so I'm hoping that his God Torm may take a hand. Felmar is the bandage still holding up? I'm almost out of makeshift linen.
She made Briar as comfortable as she could, placing a cloak under his head and another over him to keep him warm, making use of the cloaks of their adversaries, a fire would be good. She looked at the arrows given her by Krikas, some were salvageable albeit not black ones like her own. She snapped the heads off of the black arrows that were damaged, she could use them later. She is back up to 20 arrows.
Goblins came through the door next to Briar, I don't know if there are any more She moved to the door looking for a lock, placing her ear near the keyhole listening intently Perception 17
Felmar collapses where he stood, slumping to the ground with a long sigh. The cavern has lost its life, beyond the scuffling of his companions. The water still drones in the distance but with time it has faded to a hum of background noise. The Large Raider has not returned, nobody has erupted from the shadows or arrows leaping from the dark distance. He watches Krikas rifle through the armor and clothing of the Female Archer. Her body crumpled against the opposite wall.
After poking at each of the bodies, Krikas is only able to collect a single Bolt, several of the Raiders had short bows and enough arrows to fill a another quiver (20 arrows). After finding a small pouch on the second one he looked at, a few coins, he pats down the rest of them. The group was well equipped, their leather armor was in good repair, the swords and bows well made. Krikas notices that several of them have a red cloth, a bandana, either tied to their upper arm or stuffed into a pouch or pocket. The dead man he found back at the ambush site had a similar cloth, discarded in the brush nearby. Krikas collects a single red bandana, and a dozen coins. (2 Nobles (gp), 4 Moons (sp) and 13 Nibs 9cp)).
Aelinn creeps up the stairs, the light casting from the room above banishing the shadows many feet from the open door. It is a rickety affair, the door, poorly made and hanging crooked upon its hinges. Beyond is a bedchamber. The only reason you know this, there is a large soiled bed against one wall. Most of the room is filled with broken crates. Thier goods spilled upon the floor. These bandits have been active for some time. It doesn't appear as any great treasures, coins or gems. Simple trade goods, now moldering cloth, rope, clothing, and moldy foods. More than the Raiders could ever eat.
Another open door leads further into the cave system. To the right of Aelinn, a partially lit room opens after passing through a short passage. Legs, sprawled upon the ground, can be seen only a few feet into the next room. Nothing but the shifting shadows, cast by the torches beyond, moves from within the next chamber. The sound of a soft moan however drifts to you ears.
Rusty clomps over to stand near the fallen form of Briar in solidarity, feeling a need to act as guardian. Fluids run in slow lines from a few of his injuries. They look black in the dim light of the dancing torches. As Krikas returns with what he's found, Rusty offers to carry anything he would like in a bucket or two. The metal man watches Aelinn creep up the stairs, but does not follow her. His eyes — the one with its flicking pinpoint of light — stay on the back of the elf as long as she is still in sight.
(OoC - having no way to evenly split the plundered coins, I've made a pouch in Krikas' inventory that lists the Group coins. Let me know if this is acceptable to everyone.)
Felmar groans as he get back to his feet and walked over to the group. “Krikas, why don’t ye go hell Aelinn? Yer still in decent shape. Me an’ Rusty can watch over Briar.”

Not seeing or hearing any brigands she moves towards the body to check if they are still alive. Just in case she has a dagger in her hand.
Krikas uses the toe of his boot to push the goblin over, a quick rifling of the two goblinoids returns a pair of pouches, 7 nibs (cp), a mismatched pair of buttons, a small rough carving of an animal, you cant tell what it is supposed to be. Aelinn creeps slowly into the other room, the body is going cold. 3 others can be seen further on. Sorry Briar. You would still be unconcious until the proper time has passed. That is up to the other players to describe their actions in the current timeframe.
Felmar sits on the ground next to the unconscious Briar, sitting vigil over his fallen companion. His neck aches from the dog’s vicious bite. But he checked the bandage and the bleeding appears to have stopped. It will probably be a nasty scar, the first of many likely if he continues this life of adventuring. The life he had never really wanted. That thought draws his attention to Squelch, his uncle’s trusty hammer. If his growing suspicions about his uncle killing his father are true, then why would he gift his most prized weapon to Felmar. Why would he help Felmar escape at all? As Felmar contemplates these questions he continues to stare at the warhammer. He begins to feel a growing hatred for the weapon. It represented everything he had lost. He briefly considered leaving the weapon in the cave along with thoughts of his former life. But then his wry sense of irony kicked in. He began to imagine caving in his uncle’s skull with the same weapon that his uncle had carried for so many years. He imagined the sound the blow would make, that would earn the weapon’s name all over again. He began to smile as he tucked Squelch back into its place on his belt, with a new life goal fresh in his mind…

As he stands vigil over Briar, Felmar making small noises beside him, Rusty's mind — whatever it might be made of — returns to the battle with the goblins on the road. What happened. How his efforts seemed inconsequential. Then, thinking about the cave, again, his efforts were almost detrimental. He can't help but think back to how The Blade met his end because Rusty had been unable to prevent it. What is his purpose? Is he only good for scavenging among the dead? He was created to be a lab assistant, after all. What was he doing? But then he remembers how The Blade had been patient with him. He turned the lab assistant into a performer. It took time, but it was done.
Rusty lifts his hands and opens and closes their fingers, the raiders' blood glittering. Captain Ides Harven saw that he could be more. He can be more. It may time some time, but he will be the best that he can be to his traveling partners. He shifts his weight and his arms return to their resting position as he prepares for whatever might come next.
She took a good look at the amulet, the sapphire was beautiful, hopefully she wouldn't have to give it to the Harper but use it to ID herself and bare the bad news to her. She tucked it into an inside pocket. She needed to check the dead. Were these all affiliated with the Harper faction? She holstered her dagger and looked carefully at the dead bodies. Investigation 18.
The smell of a good stew filled her nostrils, everyone could do with a bite to eat. She needed to taste test it first just in case of poison. She stirred then sipped a mouthful. Perception 17

Krikas
Allowing the others time to deal with the outcome of the battle and knowing Briar was safely being watched over, Krikas takes Felmar's advice and does a little scouting of his own. He heads ENE (towards the #3 on the map) and tries to find signs of where the sole surviving raider may have run off to. He keeps to the northern wall to prevent from being ambushed, carefully checking around each rock formation as he goes.
Perception 6 to keep an eye for anything of interest.
I will describe the scene as if you had taken a long rest, Briar has recovered.
Feel free to describe anything you have done during the night or move the story forward
The Large Raider had run towards the bunks in the back cavern. As Krikas moves cautiously into the area a path leads between the pillars, bunks and hammocks. Each has a small chest next to or near the bedding. At the back of the cave an eroded tunnel winds sinuously through the rock, it exits at the back of the dog kennel. A rusty and tired cage is swinging gently on its old hinges. There is no sign of the man or any of his comrades.
The chests all contain the clothing and personal belongings of the raider it belonged to. None of them have any thing of value. Many of them have a red bandana, respectfully folded as soon as you open the chest.
The stew is nice and fragrant. The remainder of stolen meat and fresh vegetables are sitting on a table next to the fire. The cook was preparing a second dish but was interrupted, his large knife carelessly tossed to the side.
The four dead merchants; the Dwarf that spoke to you, passing the amulet; two human males, they are armored but their weapons are missing; and a half elf woman have numerous wounds upon them. There are no obvious signs of affiliation with the Harpers, are you even sure how or what is needed to identify one of that faction?
The assortment of casks, kegs, and crates, many different brands or painted sigils denoting many different owners. The Raiders have been at this for some time. The valueable items, the iron works, pots and pans, pokers, nails hammers and other houlshold items are kept in the sleeping chamber (#4). Other rooms have trade goods, in worse condition. moldering cloth and clothing, and other bulky less valuable goods have been abandoned.
Once Briar is recovered and Felmar has rested, he is going to raid those food stores that Krikas found and see if he can throw together a halfway decent meal for his fellows. Felmar knows his way around a stew pot so he’s confident he can prepare an adequate feast for the troupe.
