{[Too follow CoS, we'll say the hag isn't green. Just normal looking, pretty much.]} As you approach the caravan, you get a very strong sense of magic just in general, but no one person sticks out in any which way.
Dacyne is a bit surprised to see a strong sense of magic everywhere about the caravan. She focuses in on one of the wagons to study the magic more closely. (OOC - per the spell description - you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any.)
As Dacyne starts her investigations Fiselius smiles at the teamwork and begins the same investigation from the other side, hoping to meet up with her in the middle.
um, I'll admit. I've never been very good at schools of magic. But I'll say that pretty much everything in the caravan is kinda light blue, I guess? You don't find anything that sticks out though.
[[ Fair enough. With light blue, using that for abjuration/divination? ]]
As Fiselius meets up with Dacyne and Zania he lays out his lack of luck in searching that he's had. Thinking of other possible ideas he says, "I wonder if these people have a dancing culture. We may not have found anything with our search yet, but I do believe hags' false appearances can be found out via touch. Perhaps with a dance it would be revealed who she is."
Dacyne gives Fiselius a nod, "I found nothing either." She listens to his suggestion for dancing to try and ferret out the hag. "Perhaps Stanimar could just tell us if there's anyone that people don't recognize with the group? But the dancing I suppose could help."
"Well, if the hag isn't here, then perhaps we should get moving along?" Dacyne suggests. To the newcomer Zania she asks, "Where are you headed? Will you stay here in the wood to continue this search for hags? Or come with us to..." She pauses a moment, not really having a clear idea of precisely where they are going. "Well, to whatever town this caravan is headed towards."
"I can't say with any certainty whether hags are making deals with the vampire or not,"Zania admits. "But it doesn't seem like a far-fetched idea."
She sighs.
"I didn't really have a specific destination in mind. My only real goal is to take revenge against those who practice dark magic. I've seen too many people I cared about torn apart by practitioners of the dark arts... both metaphorically and literally in some cases."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Fiselius nods somberly as Zania mentions her loved ones being affected by dark arts. "Seems our quests may be aligned then. We were hired to help a woman that was wounded by an evil. Perhaps if you can help with that then we can help with your hag?'
After introducing Stanimar and Zania, and checking that Stanimar had no problem with her traveling with them, you head off. After around 5 or so hours of traveling, the caravan stops. Stanimar approaches and tells you that this is where you will stay the night. "Tomorrow morning, we will be passing through the village of Barovia. You should still have several hours before we put out the fires, to do as you wish." The Vistani then proceed to build large campfires, and the night is filled laughter, singing, and drinking. Naturally, you can choose if you would like to join the fun, go straight to bed, or something else. You have all been provided with your own tents and bedrolls.
"You mean we aren't there yet?" Dacyne says, seeming a tiny bit annoyed that they are stopping yet again. Hearing the music and revelry, she wonders aloud, "How do these people manage? Do they party every night?" The elf then looks to Zania, "Please tell me you are not the sort to drink the night away. What if there is some danger about?"
She does seem to enjoy the music though and finds a somewhat secluded spot to herself where she can listen in peace. And maybe glimpse what the Vistani are up to.
Fiselius smiles at Dacyne's aloud wondering if they party every night. "When I was a younger gnome such activities were quite enjoyable. Although you'd often wake up with a headache." He joins in on the festivities, using conjured instruments/trinkets to aid his participation, keeping an eye on the woods and for any unusual behavior here and there.
After a rather enjoyable night, you head off to your respective tents, and call it a night. In the morning, you are awoken by a Female Vistani, and told that in 10 minutes promptly, the caravan is leaving. After packing up your tents, you head off. As you near the town, several things come to mind straight away. It seems to be almost empty. there are a lot of old, run down houses, and no colour. You can't see any signs of flowers, of anything cheery. When you do see any inhabitants, they close there doors and windows as soon as they notice that you saw them. Stanimar tells you that the caravan will park outside the town, if you wanted to do anything while they were here.
"Friendly town." says Fiselius sarcastically. He uses a quick prestidigitation to clean his clothing to keep it nice and brightly colored in this dour place. "They seem to be closing their doors, but I do wonder if we might be able to get some conversation going if we approach them more directly. Like asking to come to borrow a cup of sugar." he smiles before pausing, remembering Zenia's words about vampires. "Or rather, stay outside the door while asking for a cup of sugar. If we're lucky, maybe someone will have heard of Irene."
Before leaving the Vistani, Dacyne would ask a few folks in the caravan if they know where the person they were looking for might live. If not, she begrudgingly agrees with Fiselius. "Not sure if we need ask for sugar. Rather just directions. Surely there must be someone helpful here."
"Think you may have taken me a tad literally." says Fiselius with a wink to Dacyne. "But yes, a good idea to ask for directions." He turns to Zania, "What do you think, lass?"

Zania looks at the gathered Vistrani... she doubts that the hag would go unnoticed from magical detection.
"It's probably gone by now," she says reluctantly. "But I will find that thing eventually, along with all its sisters."

"This hag, do you know if it had any dealings with a vampire named Strahd?" asks Fiselius. "If so, we may have some common ground going forward."

Zania looks a bit unsure of herself.
"I'm not much of a people-person, so I guess go with whatever you think might work," she tells Fiselius.
