Jolly has to bite his tongue to keep from waving the two down from making the run. Thankfully, nothing comes of it. Focusing his full attention back on the snake, Jolly examines it closely, and seeing it thin figure even for a snake, he clicks his tongue and shakes his head before speaking again in the secret tongue of his people.
"Oh my. So cruel of those 'Skin Walkers'! You know what this one thinks? This one thinks you should leave this place. Leave them. Dangerous out there, yes. But more unkindness here. Your choice. I still leave more as promised. And we go in peace... Buuut if want to join when we leave here. Leave the stone. The weird caves. You're welcome to join us. Either way, may you enjoy big Mother's bounty, good fortune, and ever helpful guidance."
Though it is unclear what is said by the firbolg, there is plenty of idle gestures. The most significant involving him pointing roughly in the direction of the entrance they came in, and at another point, weaving the similar circular pattern in the air, denoting a familiar by now spell. At the end of it all, he bows his head, holds his hand over his heart to the snake, though respectful kept an eye on the creature. And then, offloaded even more of his meat oriented rations (roughly 30 lbs/15 days). He starts to add his last goodberry to the pile, but thinks better of it. While not necessarily enough to fill the snake, it'd definitely hold it off for at least a week, if not a full month or more.
He hoped.
"Okay. This one thinks that'll do it for now.Let us find the others quickly. Oh! And, uhm… Naivera~"He looks to the elf, glances to wherever she slipped the knife, then back to her with big, dopey eyes and gestures with his head back over to the halfling.

As Jolly is talking to the snake Zee walks over to the other door and opens it to let in the other party members but they aren't there. She walks out into the hall and looks around on the ground for a few minutes before entering the room once more.
"Vrak, The others left the pyramid. I saw their tracks leading back through the cobwebs. Should we go after them? It's your call but we are here. We have two new members that will help us clear this out." She looks over at Pequ, "Right Pequ, since you now owe us a life debt I'm sure you are happy to help us clear this place. And after that, who knows. Maybe Vrak and his group might feel sorry for you and take you in."
The snake gobbles up the meat Jolly offered and slithers out of the doorway that Zee opened and heads out in the direction of the exit.
"No, I won't go after them. They are unworthy of our attention and have dishonored themselves by running away. If these two will join us then we can continue on unless they need to rest and heal. How much daylight is left, do you have an idea? I do not think it is wise for us to sleep inside. But we can continue if it will not be dark soon. "
Turning his attention to the newcomers.
"Do you have gear anywhere? Weapons or armor? If not I have javelins you can use."
During the meet and greet, Jolly will start, realizing a mistake, and briefly call back the snake if at all possible. And in spite of whatever awkwardness, he'll give it a rushed together note and instructions to pass it along to the dwarf on its way out. One that basically said not to kill and/or eat nice snake.

Pequeno turns Vrak and Zee and although dressed in nothing but a loincloth says proudly, standing up as tall as he can “Pequeno y Travresio always tries to pay his debts – so I will help you”.He shrugs his shoulders and goes onto say “besides I cannot return to Port Nyanzaru until this La maldición de la muerte is lifted but more importantly”looking himself up and down “Ras Nsi stole from me and I intend to steal everything back – so says Pequeno y Travesio.” Finally he turns to Zubeki and says “as you can see I have nothing so if I may borrow your dagger it would be appreciated.”
Watching the snake disappear out of the room, Fae-Selu lowers his arms, relaxing as the vines returning to his limbs. Realising Vrak is talking to him he then turns his head to look at Vrak, tilts it to the side slightly as if in thought and doesn't say anything for a moment. Then he bows, "I am Fae-Selu, bard of the feywild." He pauses again, as if in thought, "Thank you for the rescue." Like his earlier whistling, his voice is not a sound you would expect upon looking at him and doesn't sound quite natural.
Naivara looks into the room and looks at the two who are in the water. She looks at the water and cringes a bit in disgust at the murky water. She listens to everything that happens around her and somewhat stays close to the door just in case some enemies were to appear. A bit of surprise shows on her face hearing Zee and the halfling know each other but she quickly allows the slight distrust and wariness to replace it. As Zee introduces the group to the halfling and warforged, Naivara just glances at them and gives a nod before turning her attention to Jolly. She looks mildly alarmed at the snake when it comes out of the water and steps back watching it slither from the room. Swallowing hard, Naivara looks at the water before looking at Pequeno asking Zubeki for a weapon and then Fae-Selu when he introduces himself. She steps forward a bit. "I am Naivara, I would say it was a pleasure to meet you both but given the circumstances, perhaps I shouldn't." She then looks at Fae-Selu directly, "Will you be coming with us as well? If so I can provide you a dagger to use until we find weapons more suitable to your talents."
Fae-Selu looks at Naivara and then the offered dagger. He then shakes his head, "Whilst I will join you, I am fine." He glances at Pequeno as he starts up again, "Weapons, like words, aren't always necessary, my music is all I need."
Jolly cannot help himself. From the moment Fae-Selu mentioned being of the feywild, all else was forgotten by the firbolg. Even his lingering concerns for the safety of his new snek friend vanished into the ether. The fact that he appeared to be a construct of some sort had been of interest before, but now...
'It all makes sense now... He... That one has been blessed by a great one'He thought, a smile slowly replacing his awe-struck expression. Without so much as a word of warning, he rapidly approaches the construct, abandoning his still glowing shield, and attempts to clasp him by the shoulders using his previous shield hand. After a lengthy (and possibly) awkward moment of silence, he begins to sing something in sylvan.
"Well it's like this little birch."
"Look for the bare necessities The simple bare necessities Forget about your worries and your strife I mean the bare necessities Old Mother Nature's recipes That brings the bare necessities of life"
At the end of the verse and loose accompanying dance routine, he claps the shoulder again, folds his arms across his chest, and gives a few eyebrow twitches that -- to the intuitive -- screamed 'Eh? Eh! C'mon! You know the one~' And if he does pick it up, Jolly will go in right for a great big bear hug and swing Fae-Selu a round a couple of times before plopping him down and saying aloud, "Welcome new friend!"
"It doesn't cut cloth as well anymore, so the blade is all yours Pequeno. I am Zubeki, the party's tailor, campground caretaker, and occasional wizard."He bows a curt bow.
Zubeki's attention is drawn to the mass of wood and stone. "Fae-Selu, I am unfamiliar with anyone like you. Not to be too rude, but do you breathe? Eat? Sleep? Our rations are limited and having one less mouth to feed would be easier on all of us. As for water, do we need a refill and purification? This water is obviously not tainted, just a little, well used."
Vrak bows to Fae-Selu, "Fae-Selu, the honor is mine. We are exploring this temple under the employment of Zee in exchange for 100 gp and half the spoils. If you aid us then you will take part in our share. We have had trouble keeping some companions, the jungle is too much for them it seems. Three just ran off. Unless you need rest or healing we should continue on. We want to get as much done as possible before dark. That and there is a poison in the air that can be harmful. We cannot sleep in here. "
When the party is ready then we will go try the door that is back to the west.
"A song I haven't heard for some time!" Fae-Selu says to Jolly. Then Fae-Selu let's out a deep laugh, probably the most natural sound the party has heard him make yet, the sound of cracking and creaking wood. He turns to Zubecki, "words, words, words. To answer your questions. No, I don't eat, no I don't sleep - I rest but remain conscious, and whilst I don't need to breathe, I can produce certain sounds using the air." As Fae-Selu finishes speaking, he demonstrates this by whistling the tune to the next verse of the song that Jolly had started.
Turning to back to Vrak, "For now our goals align, so I will join you. Ultimately my mission is to end this death curse. I am ready to go."
Pequeno says to Vrak "please allow me to check if the door is locked or trapped or there is something on the other side we need to be wary of!"He examines the lower half of the door and listens to see if he can hear any noises and then looks up to the top half of the door. He looks at Fae and turning his hand palm-side up he moves it in an upward motion. Knowing what this means, Fae lifts Pequeno up and he repeats the procedure on the other half of the door. Turning to Vrak he says "I cannot see or hear anything we should worry about." He hops down from Fae's palm doing a somersault as he does so, bows and says "after you."
Still grinning like a fool after having found a strange yet familiar spirit, Jolly doffed his shield, made the chant of light, and followed along in loosely the same order as before. But seeing as the construct and halfling pair might've need room to work, he steps a back a bit (10ft), holding his shield high enough over the others to give them the pair at least plenty of light to work with.

With a quick flick of the wrist, Pequ unlocks the door and pushes it open revealing a lavishly decorated sleeping chamber.
The room goes thirty feet north and forty feet east/west. There is a large canopy bed in the northwest corner with an iron chest near the foot of it.
A large tapestry depicting a snakeman with its lower body wrapped around a man (image in discord) hangs along the northern wall. It looks to be in excellent condition.
There is something hanging on the eastern wall but has a sheet draped over it blocking it from view. Next to that is a door.
"Well Peq, check out the chest and the desk for traps and report back. If nothing is found then lets open stuff up and see what there is to be found. That's a nice looking tapestry Zee, but not really my taste but more along what you are looking for? Let's leave the the sheet alone for a moment."
Vrak stands in the middle of the room slightly closer to the other door watching towards the unopened door.
Pequeno wanders over first all to the dresser and without touching anything examines it to see if there are any traps. He is specifically looking for any runes, hidden needles, wires etc. He then moves onto the desk again looking for signs that the drawers (assuming they exist) may be trapped. He then moves onto the chest again looking for any runes, hidden needles or wires, etc. Having finished at the chest he turns to Vrak and says "I am pretty sure that the chest is not trapped, the desk and the dresser I am not so sure about!"
"Buenas nuevas" Pequeno says when he sees that all of his equipment is in the chest. He then turns to Zubeki bows and says "my equipment is all here, thanks to all of the gods known and unknown. I thank you for the loan of your dagger but I no longer require it" as he hands back the dagger looking at the point of it as he does so and continues "I am sorry if I damaged its point using it for a purpose for which it was not really designed."
