Az will take a set of Scale Mail and a sword from one of the goblin. He wrinkles up his nose at the quality. He mumbles to himself "Such a shame, this material being wasted like this. I'll see if I can make something useful from it later."
He heads over to the group and sees the money "Indeed, most likely the devil Caelius bribed them. But we can find out more ahead of us. Shall we continue."
Az examines the vines. "Hmm, I don't know much about nature, but I'm pretty sure those vines are magical in nature. Also, I don't think it's the vines that are talking. I believe it's the Dryad caught in them that's speaking. I'm not sure what language that is."
He will speak to the Dryad in Common, then Dwarvish, then Gnomish. "Hello, can you understand me?"
Az is very concerned about her current predicament.
To the group, he will say "Do any of you understand what she's saying?"
He will begin trying to free her, using the sword he just picked up to help cut the vines away. "Might as well free her for now. If she's a threat, we can deal with her."
"It sounds like a floaty, singy version of Elvish. I might be able to pick out a few words if she were to speak slowly... but doesn't it sound like she's in pain? I agree, cutting her free is the best next step."
Misery draws her rapier and, along with Az, tries to gently cut the vine-stuck creature free.
The Dryad smiled and nodded at them gratefuly, but looked still perplexed as if curious at their motives.
Gomphus approached the Dryad and turned to Az to answer his question.
~I could communicate telepathically, but I have to shoot spores into her first, I hope she doesn't flip! Could you try to calm her down first?~ Gomphus asked. (to do so make a persuasion check, but this is more like, calming gestures than than speaking.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Sure thing! Easy does it now..." Misery is quick tostow her rapier once the dryad is free, and does her part to gently, slowly introduce Gomphus into her personal space.
The chest popped open! Inside is 150 Copper, 120 Silver, and 60 Gold. This seems to be quite the hoard for the goblins.
(Treasure is divided up at the end)
"So much? Someone's behind the goblins"
"Yes, it's very suspicious that they would be carrying so much through an area like this."

He will being moving ahead.
As the group heads through the woods a mass of writhing vines can be seen, the mass of vines looks odd. (Everyone make a nature check please)
"What are those vines?" 10
OOC: the druid, nature guy gets the lowest roll xD
Deksi's nature check: 22
Nature check: 19
((I have a negative 1 modifier, I was expecting a shitty roll! But I guess we have two Nat 20s.))
Deski and Joe notice, the vines are the ensnaring strike Inside is a Dryad, trapped by them.
If you speak Sylvan, she's saying:
Please! Please help me, the devils have left me to rot!
"Humm strange plant, it almost seems like speaking but saying nothing of sorts, not usual as plants are not sentient"
he looks at Gomphus
"Not most at least"

The Dryad seemed perplexed but winced as the vines tightened around her.

Seeing that Misery has things under control, Az will place the sword away and back up to give the Dryad space.
((So ... What does the dryad say?))
"Please, the devil tied me up here. It...hurts!" She flinches as the vines start to move, their spines digging into her.
Deksi speaks. "I do not doubt that this creature is in real pain, but we must be wary that this is most likely a trap set by that devil."
