This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
For a second there, Allure felt slightly uncomfortable about his plan to betray Gomphus and his liege, but quickly collected himself. The plan was still good, if it has a chance to work out. He emptied a vial in one gulp.
The stone hallway is bare. The goblins each carry scale mail, shortbows (18 arrows each), and they each carry a scimitar. One of the goblins carries a note.
If read the note says:
I called for no further troops, shoot anyone who comes past you, even if they are a goblin. ~Blurgh
Gomphus held the potion gingerly as he walked along.
The party reached a cavern only lit by Allure's fire. An unstable bridge of toadstools stands above a small pond of water with a radius of 15 feet, the depth was uncertain. An acrobatics check is needed to cross the bridge.
Allure has already cast the Produce Flame, he holds the fire right now. Should battle begin, I would have him throw it at the enemy out of turn before initiative roll, if DM allows it. It will make 1d8 of fire damage only, but makes sense story-wise - if I held the fire and was attacked I bet your ass I would throw it if spooked.
Zerxius tried to grab Boxey, but didn't have a good hold on Boxey's hand, as Boxey slipped Zerxius lurched forward, slipped on the wet stone, and fell into the water. Grabius could not identify what was in the water, as it was murky, but a dark shape was moving toward the two. Gomphus readied an action to attack a hostile within range. (As far as attacking before initiative, the thing is hard to see and underwater, so you will have to wait until it shows itself, but your reaction can be to use it once it emerges) (Boxey is up!)

"That's nothing new," tiefling said, examining the note. "And we should really get going."
He then opened his palm in front of him, whispering "Luce ignire!", a cantrip to Produce Flame. A flicker of fire appeared on it, lighting the way.
"I don't really need it," he explained. "But some of you might. And let's move, before more come!"

Boxey follows in tow with her hand on her mace.

Boxey begins to nervously cross the bridge.
Acrobatics: 0
Another flashback of her family dying enters her mind and she slips from the bridge.
That is two natural 1 rolls for dexterity-related checks. Ha!

(well... initiative then!)
Grabius learned his lesson from last time and searches the area. Being a deep gnome, he has no problem seeing in the dark.

(Boxey is up!)
Boxey is going to ready an action. When the creature emerges, she is going to cast Sacred Flame.
OOC: The creature has to make a saving throw DC 12 or take 1d8 radiant damage.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
The shark tried to bite Boxey, the first to fall into the water.
16 to hit 4 piercing damage on a hit.
Boxey the first one to see it cast sacred flame. 10 to save. (If it failed roll 1d8 for damage boxey)
The shark is halfway visible to Allure and Boxey, so half cover.
19 gomphus attacked.
5 damage dealt to the shark by gomphus
Zerxius is up!
Boxey curses as the shark successfully bites at her armor. She calls out to Tempus as her spell rains down on the shark (Damage) 8
OOC: I flubbed from before. Boxey's AC is actually 18, not 16. I was looking at another character sheet when I saw the attack.
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Zerxius jabs at it with his quarterstaff Attack: 8 Damage: 4
following up with a kick Attack: 6 Damage: 7
