This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Before Grabius could get a word in, he watched as the goblin’s head slowly separated from it’s body and seemingly floated it’s way down to the ground. It seemed to go on for minutes and yet was but a fraction of a second before he snapped to attention and the words started pouring out once more,
“Well, so much for that fine fellow. Ain’t never been keen on goblins–who is–but can’t say I ever saw their innards in quite artistic detail as we have today. My uncle tells a great tale of a time...[muttering off as he slowly descends the stairs]...oh! Right. The hobgoblins...of course there are hobgoblins; ‘can’t have the rind without the peel’ she’d always say. She was quite fond of that one. Now that we know to steer clear of Blurg and (especially) Leena, but everyone, including the guards will be waiting. Maybe I should scout ahead and check out the situation? Do we need a signal if I run into trouble? Perhaps make sure there aren’t any traps as well?” [cracks his knuckles as he begins to hum and mutter a bit under his breath]
Definitely will be doing a Stealth check. Maybe more?
Unfortunately, the hobgoblins were neither wasted, nor senile. As the party entered the next room, which was as the goblin had described, a long hallway, four hobgoblins leapted out of concealed tunnels and attacked!
Boxey feels one of the longswords pierce her armor deep. She looks at the hobgoblin who stabbed her and says "Good hit ya bastard!" before she drops to the ground.

Correction - some would trip on the blind, deaf, senile and passed out goblins leg. but hey, we all have our challenges.

Haha. The dice seem to speak for themselves. Best of intentions applauded though.
The dice do speak for themselves - mostly as a middle finger to this character when it comes to Dex checks. But having a 9 dex doesn't help either.

Seeing Boxey fall, Grabius enrages and dives quickly at the hobgoblin that attacked her. In a flash he unsheathes 2 daggers and strikes swiftly.
