Well as no one knows where they are they are probably back at the fort. Arya "Thar could open the Gate back to the fort and we could drop the wolf pups there and then continue on."
"Do you think we could train them to be companions?" says Thar as he opens the Gate. "Could help in a tight spot when they get bigger."

This, of course, falls perfectly into Arya's delusional self image so she will be quite happy to give it a try; frost giants train them so why not you. On the other hand they are evil monsters so there may be 'incidents' of staff being eaten if not careful.
Be that as it may, you either transport them back home or carry them with you.
Fah'lin has rope, as I'm sure most if not everyone else does, but rather than climbing down we'll probably cross over instead. How far is it across to the west? Would it Be better to go west through the tunnels to the south? (Which also requires us to cross a rift.)

I could probably Misty Step the gap to the south.
There is a western path to the north just past the entrance to the rift. There is also a western path at the southern end.
"Well, we could jump across, taking a rope end and then securing with a spike or something," Khalin Gool estimates the distance as about 30' (Yes?). "I can triple anyone's 'standing broad' jump."
If Arya flies, Fahlin can carry the broom back for Thar to fly also, which will get everyone across, no problem.
A cunning plan. The western corridor runs fort about 50' when you come to an intersection running south and sloping down deeper into the ice. It also continues on to the west.

Fah'lin shutters a little thinking back on Igneous' training techniques.

Where to now?
"Let's head west"

Someone needs to check the map, west from where you are is down a 200' ice wall onto the floor of the glacial rift.

You are at cave 4 with the wolf pups
(It won't be the first rift we've tackled)

Okay then, who has rope? And what do you attach it to?

"For no particular reason I think we should take the western path to the south", says Thar. "I don't like the idea of climbing down in to the rift."

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Aeliarin offers a levitation spell if someone wants to scoot across the ceiling.
People, there is no need to jump or climb or levitate. There are two paths leading west (see crosses to the north and south of the map)
"Comrades," says Thar, "Why don't we just walk around the rift? I still prefer the path to the south."
(I also prefer the path to the south, but I got the impression room "1" was now fortified with new and additional baddies.)

True, but you could always passwall through the south wall of cave 5.
An hour has passed so the Telepathic Bond spell has expired. We will now check to see if anything has wandered by 6
Fah'lin picks Kohlin Gool in a fireman carry and runs to jump the ledge to the south.
(Jump is cheaper than Passwall)

Jump lasts 1 minute so you can make 5 return trips before it ends. Who has that broom?
