Fah'lin frees up the end of the rope and ties a slip knot so Owly only needs to put it in position and pulling the rope will pull the loop tight.
This will work with a bit of effort. Owly is not strong (3) and as a tiny creature his lifting capacity is 1/4 but that gives him just enough strength to move the end of the rope (loop) up to the door handle. After a lot of slipping, sliding and falling down you get everyone across.
You exit through the north door into a corridor going west which quickly enters another corridor going north/south. 20' to the north is a door, 60' to the south is another door.
As no one else is moving Arya goes to the southern door and checks it out 25 and finds nothing of interest other than the fact that it is locked. She goes to the northern door and checks 23. Also nothing of interest but this one is unlocked.
Fah'lin suggests taking the northern door. "There are probably two other paths converging from the south." He'll Mage-Hand the door from a distance if Arya stands clear.
Arya gets back as Fah'lin opens the door with Mage Hand. You see a room 40x50', lined up against the south wall are 6 kayaks and coming out of the west wall and flowing through the north east corner is a stream...the holes are 6' in diameter and are 5' of the floor. That's something you don't see every day, water flowing through the air.
"Very odd, want to try the other door?" Fah'lin asks.
(Does this stream fill the 6' diameter hole or is there clearance to ride a kayak on the water?)
Yes, there is clearance for the kayak.
Arya gets her tools and tries the lock 19 and it doesn’t open. try again with some guidance 30 Nope, still won’t open “We’re going to have to find a key.”
"Arya", say Thar, "Do you think Owly could fly into one of those holes to possibly see where they go?"
DM Good thinking, this hadn't occurred to me at all
Arya "I can also see through Owly's eyes." She finds a comfortable spot and closes her eyes. Owly flies into a passage 3 rounds latter he flies out the opposite passage and she stands up. "The stream runs in a big circle. Halfway around the circuit it comes out into another room. There where nine men in plate armour with great swords and bows. Two where watching the stream, the others where lounging around. The watchers had a large net plus there where a pile of more nets near the stream. They saw Owly but he was in and out so quickly that had no chance to attack him. The water flows anticlockwise so they are guarding the opening it is flowing from."
"I assume having seen Owly the watch may now be alerted. Arya do the men watching look like they are position to throw the net over anyone coming into the room," says Thar. "A couple of thoughts come to mind. How far is it from the entry point here to the exit in the other room? My thought here is that if it is not too far, say under 100' we could consider tying a kayak to a rope to let it get just short of the exit and try to take out some of the men, the net holders, with ranged attacks. Or how wide is the stream in the other room and any space upon which to land? Could several kayaks all 'land' at the same time? Or is it possible to stay out of melee and certainly net range and perhaps have an attack as you float through the room."

Yes

The stream is an oval, 110' diameter on the long axis and 90' on the short. You work it out

A 6' diameter semicircle.

If the kayaks are all close together they can only net one of you before the others come out
Arya "The water flows one way so they think that's where people will enter their room. Cast Fly on Fah'lin and he can carry two others around the opposite direction. If we time it right we get total surprise on the bad guys as they are dealing with the others in the kayaks. Thar could be in the first kayak and get netted then Misty Step out."
"Well then," says Thar, "If I'm going in the first kayak I'm going in with my wand a blazin!" He readies his Wand of Lightning Bolts. "And if some else could follow close behind that might ease my trepidation about being bait."
"I guess the ones flying should be the up close and personal people, like myself," says Gijigume, "so we have the better ability to get, uh, up close and personal."
Fah'lin picks up Gijigume around the back and legs like he's carrying him over a threshold. He's ready to fly unless Igneous and Arya are changing positions as Gijigume suggests.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
In kayaks, Thar then Igneous then Aeliarin. From the other direction Fah'lin, Gijigume and Arya. The flying threesome leave first to be in position just outside the room and see that the bad guys have set up in two teams of four ready to trap anyone coming out the opening. Standing back and supervising is a man in full plate armour. None of them are paying any attention to the other entry.
The men with nets are get ready as the stream shows signs of kayaks in the water. Arya hops into the room and closes on the boss 22

Good try but there's something magic about that door, your 'lock picking' was just as successful as Arya's.

"Sounds like a plan, a bit spell heavy though."
