Thromkor hurries back as well, encouraging everyone off the bridge, and stops back on the ledge, but within five feet of where the bridge begins. Following Cole's lead, Thromkor raises a clawed hand at the gargoyle that was heading for the front of the group and speaks a few words in Draconic. Numbing frost forms on its hide.

As Cole hurries the prisoners off the bridge and back into the tunnel, the second Gargoyle begins to beat its wings more heavily and changes what had been a dive into more of a swoop as it seeks to fly back up towards a ledge on the roof of the chasm where it lands and furls its wings.
Thomkor looks up. "Hmm ..." He looks at the individuals around him and then up again. He limps forward about five feet onto the bridge, watching for gargoyles.
If the gargoyles start to swoop down again, he will back up off the bridge.
"When we got out on the bridge to about the first turn," Thromkor says, pointing out the dogleg, "creatures — they looked like gargoyles — descended. We retreated, and so did they." The dragonborn continues to watch above them for any sign of danger.
Gotrek grimaces, "Well then.. Is this the only way out?"Without waiting for a response, Gotrek turns to the prisoners, "Who amongst you can fight? Or at least strong enough to swing a weapon? It looks like getting out won't be easy, and we will need your help. I have some weapons that can be borrowed."
After a brief conversation with the others, Tibold turns to the group of prisoners.
"Alright. We will be taking you to our camp. Our...associates there will keep you from harm while we take care of our remaining business here. Then we can help you get to where you need to go. Any objections?"he asks, looking around.
Assuming no notable replies, Tibold points in the direction they came from.
"Come," he commands, beginning to lead the group out of the dungeon and to the camp.
Back in the Crypt – 9.05 am Day 5 - First 10 Day - Kythorn (Month of Flowers)
The party successfully makes its way back up the stairs and enters the Crypt prior to leaving the Monastery. When they get into the Crypt, Bruldenthar goes over to the sarcophagus which has the sculpture of the knight’s body on top and reads the inscription. “Hmm” he says to himself “well that explains something I’ve always wondered about”.
Reading over Bruldenthar's shoulder, Thromkor makes a confused sound. His eyes pass over the inscription a second time. Then a third. "Samular Caradoon?" He takes a step backward. "But ... but the paladin is buried at Summit Hall." He looks at the dwarf. "Isn't he?"

Torches: Carried by Thromkor & Cole
As the party moves into the Crypt led by Gotrek who continues to make his way to the exit door, some of the prisoners - specifically the two Halflings and the Gnome - start wandering around examining the biers and the dead bodies. Thromkor, Tibold and Bruldenthar are clustered around the sarcophagus closely examining it. Cole is bringing up the rear of the party.
Cole - spoiler
Cole from your position at the rear of the party you spot out of the corner of your eye one of the Halflings closely examining the hands of one of the dead Zombies.
Bruldenthar turns to Thromkor and says "that's what I always thought, in fact I have seen his sarcophagus myself many years ago". He strokes his beard, obviously thinking deeply, and then gestures to the sarcophagus "but this may explain where his brother is!"
"His brother?" Thromkor asks, looking even more confused. "Which? Renwick or Amphail? You think this or the one in the Summit Hall is actually one of his brothers?"
"I don't know know where Amphail was buried, or if he was buried. Given he was the War Lord of Waterdeep at the time he may have been buried in Waterdeep. But as they say his ghost is said to walk the streets of Amphail it's possible he was buried on his estates there," Bruldenthar says. Amphail is about 40 miles south of Red Larch on the Long Road and both Thromkor and Tibold passed through it. They may have even stayed the night in its Inn 'Amphail's Repose'. Bruldenthar lowers his voice and says "No! I'm talking about where the other brother Renwick is!"

Crossing the Chasm – 8.56 am Day 5 - First 10 Day - Kythorn (Month of Flowers)
Cole (30/35) | Gargoyle #2 (?) | Thromkor (22/27) | Tibold (36/36), Gargoyle #3 (?), | Gargoyle #1 (3)
As Cole hurries the prisoners off the bridge and back into the tunnel, the second Gargoyle begins to beat its wings more heavily and changes what had been a dive into more of a swoop as it seeks to fly back up towards a ledge on the roof of the chasm where it lands and furls its wings.

Tibold watches carefully.
"Do you have the same idea, Thromkor?" he asks, readying himself to dodge out of the way of the gargoyles, if need be.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Both Gargoyles fly back up to the ledges high in the chasm where they land and furl their wings.

Hearing the commotion from up front, Gotrek rushes forward. "What in Morradin's name is going on?" he asks the group, no one in particular

Tibold strolls over to stand by Bruldenthar so he can also read the inscription.

The inscription on the sarcophagus reads "Here Lies Samular Caradoon, Defender of the North"

History roll for whether Thromkor knows anything related to the inscription: 21 (add 2 to that if it should be religion)

Tibold raises a thin eyebrow, resulting in an expression that has become all-too common for him.
"A paladin? One of those who have a code of conduct and stick to it above all else?"
And that's all I have to say about that.

"But why would both be marked as the resting place of Samular Caradoon if one of them is his brother Renwick?"
