Whilst the Duergar has put down his weapon, Gotrek will lower his but still act cautious and ready, not trusting the Duergar. As cole asks his questions, Gotrek sees the Duergars confused expression, so he translates to dwarvish, "Do you know the location of any other prisoners? Will you show us the locations of other creatures or cultists in this place? Help us and you may survive to see another day. But do anything to prove my mistrust of you and it will not end well. Finally is there anything hidden in this guardroom that I should be aware of? Traps or treasure?" Gotrek says the last bit with a grin. Without turning his head or taking his eyes off the Duergar infront of him he calls back in common. "Can one of you guys see if any off the fallen enemies have anything of use on them?"
"Víte, kde se nacházejí ostatní vězni? Ukažte nám, kde se nacházejí ostatní tvůrci nebo kulteři? Pomozte nám a můžete přežít, abyste viděli další den, ale udělejte cokoliv, abyste dokázali svou nedůvěru k vám a to nebude konečně je něco, co je v této strážní místnosti skryto, o kterém bych si měl být vědom, pasti nebo poklad?" Gotrek says to the Duergar.
The Duergar replies to Gotrek, “nebyli jsme tady dlouho. Moji přátelé z klanu a já jsme byli vychováni dolů, abychom zde nahradili předchozí stráže. Měli jste to vidět, krev a mrtvá těla všude, vypadalo to jako a“ here he uses a word "Maahuna” that Gotrek doesn‘t understand "byl tady berserk.“ He pauses and then continues “ale přemýšlejte o tom, většina zranění byla lomítka, takže to mohlo být a“ here he uses another word "Kullankaivaja” that Gotrek doesn‘t understand. The Duergar then continues "Kulturisté, z nich jsou kbelíky a vězni, nahoře i dole."He then goes onto say “jestli máte zájem, je schodiště nahoru za dveřmi ve strážní místnosti, a to není zachyceno. Teď jsme tady skončili?"
"Co víte o tomto místě a všem ostatním, kteří jsou zde? Co tady a tvoje děláte? Proč jsi nás napadl?"
Cole asks the Duergar. "Proč jsme tady, protože jsme žoldáci, obvykle platí dobře a je to obvykl," here the Duergar looks around at the dead bodies of his clansmen "ne nebezpečné." He continues "Proč jsme vás napadli? Jednoduše jsme řekli, že zaútočíme na někoho, kdo prošel těmito dveřmi" pointing up the corridor to the door exiting the Crypt.
He says there are lots of cultists around and more prisoners. Up in the guard room there is a staircase behind the door that is not trapped we might be able to use to get down.

The party agrees to explore the door in the guardroom and effectively swaps places with the Duergar who heads off to the West. Whilst the door out of the Guardroom on the western wall is locked, Cole uses the set of keys he had taken from Jugurth’s body and quickly unlocks the door. Gotrek leads the party into what is a stairwell heading upwards. As the party makes its way upstairs they see several large buckets stacked unevenly on the landing. The party continues to climb the stairs and comes to a wooden door which is locked, which Cole also finds a key for on the set of the keys. The Party opens the door and peers cautiously out. They can see a 20 x 20 foot space. To the north (left) they can see an opening, directly east they can see a door and there is an opening in the southeast corner. To the south they can see another door while there is an opening in the southwest corner.
As the party steps out into the 20 x 20 foot space they notice that the Monastery is completely quiet as it is about 9.30 pm. They can see a corridor heading off to the north with a set of steps heading down approximately 20 feet away. Ten feet up the corridor on the western side is a door. To their east they can see the corridor continues for about 30 feet before turning to the south. To the south the corridor continues for 30 feet before turning west.
Discovering that the door on the western side of the north running corridor is locked, Gotrek reverts to his tried and trusted manner of opening said doors. He hits the door so hard that not only does it fly open but he stumbles five feet into the room (see map). As he looks around the 30 x 30 foot room, the first thing he notices is its austerity. In the southern section there is a simple wooden table with four chairs, in the northeastern corner is a small working desk, there are several simple macramé wall hangings, and in the northwest corner there is a single pallet on a low stone shelf. In the middle of the north wall is a barred window through which moonlight is shining. Sitting in the middle of the room, in a lotus position, is a figure dressed in drab monk’s robes and wearing a golden gargoyle mask with surprisingly no eye holes. As Gotrek bursts through the door, the figure leaps to its feet with incredible fluidity and assumes an open handed fighting stance.

Thromkor steps forward into the room and slides around Tibold (F6), placing a hand on the bard's shoulder and looking at him disapprovingly. "I'm sorry, sir," the dragonborn says to the stranger, "my friend is over anxious. You must have startled him. Your duergar friend gave us directions to the prisoners, but we've gotten lost. Can you help us?"

Thromkor limps over to the eastern duergar and searches it.
The four bodies each have 15 Dragons and 10 Sambar on them.

"I say that we should head up through the guard room, like Cole said."
Tibold yawns.
"Okay. Let's get going, then."
And that's all I have to say about that.
Thromkor nods.

"There's no need to get up," Tibold tells the figure, playing a low chord on his spectral keyboard. But this time, the spell fails.
"Huh. Well, I tried," Tibold mutters to Thromkor, shrugging slightly.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Deception: 18
The figure just ignores Thromkor.
