Level 1 is always tough. Remember you have inspiration too, so you can reroll once. And yes, there have been some terrible rolls on the past several posts. Let me know if you change your mind.
Believe me, I would love to continue, but I can't believe the rolls. I threw my shield to the side to cast burning hands which should have fried both of them. I would love another chance, but I am not sure what I can do. Your recommendation would be most helpful.

After the first failed death save but before he could make another, the wagon driver, now named Gralden, a red haired dwarf, performs a medicine check DC 10 to stabilize Jayce
Gralden successfully stabilizes the cleric and says, "You saved us. We was gonnas. If it wasn't for your selflessness, those goblins would have dun us in fo'sure."
He helps Jayce up to his feet and says, "We need to save the others."
Give me four medicine checks DC 10, or spare the dying if you know it

Sorry, I knew better. Damage is a measly 2. I think I have 1 flare left and will use it as a reaction when it attacks.
